Sooooo anyone?
I will try and be more specific i currently have 4 slots on vengance cant remember the slotting but i need these slots on my new build elsewhere so whats optimum slotting if its worth slotting at all?
fallout im using instead of vengance on another build the plan is to TP a fallen friend into a group and detonate, i was thinking of slotting for dam and accuracy.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated!!

Whats the cosi for a defender?

my current build is a sapper and works well,

power boost>aim>short circuit jump back and ball lightning has most of the mob at zero end.

Ive made a few mistakes that need to be corrected, ive found that i never use zapp or tesla cage so will be replacing them with hasten and tornado, i mainly taking tornado to help with AVs, the scatter it causes unless you have a troller holding them is horrendous.

Can some one help me with the slotting of Vengance and Fallout as ive never used them before...thanks.

Ive found Illusion one of the best solo sets ive played with the 3 pet powers, giving you 3 tanks, a great holding pet and a blaster (who brings his mates!!) to give you a mini team of your own.
The only thing is the set dosnt really get goin until PA.
As for secondarys i have just made a ill/storm still only a baby but im really looking forward to lvling it, its goin to be chaos

well tbh your job is to stop everyone else getting killed!! and you have to do this while being the least appriecaited member on the team....everyone thanks the healer or blaster who has just fired hs nuke but no on ever says thank you for taking the alpha strike cos its your job. A great tank can not only herd the mobs into a tight group but can also kill the boss and have the rest of the mob down to half health before moving on to the next mob, but this is hard to do with most of the combination of tanker sets, choose carefully and even though you will find it a bit boring at lower lvls you will be in high demand in the high game.

i agree the invention system is the best thing to happen to CoX since i joined but my only worry is how long b4 ppl inviting u teams (high lvl) start asking if u have got these bonuses? its hard enough now bein a INV gettin invited to a STF..

tornado..i havent got it, the only reason i can see to get it, it annoys the tank spreads the spawns for team mates and genarlay makes a complete mess..now if u was solo or on an indoor mish in a corridor it is usefull but why take a power and use slots on it,,that can only sorta be helpfull evry now and then.

try and keep a sense of humour in the PvP zones, we have all had nob heads abusing us but heyhoo 14 yr old should be encouraged to express them selfs shouldnt they.
If someone is constantly abusing me i just turn off broadcast, if they send me an abusive tell (ive never had this happen) i would just put them on ignore.
the ammount of abuse in this game is nothing compared to some of the FPS games i play, with no moderator or GMs present(unless they play on my clans server then they get a perminant ban)
But back to the original post dont goto a PvP zone if you dont want to die, its as simple as that im afraid.

There is no reason for a tank not to take taunt, excuses like my builds to tight just dont wash, taunt is more important than an attack unless your going to solo PvP.
You can still tank without taunt but why bother? theres times when your aura and gauntlet (for what its worth sometimes) will still let an enemy slip through and start pounding on a squishie.
A good tank can hold agro without taunt, ive seen proberly no more than 15 "good" tanks in over a year of playing and to be honest all of then had taunt.

Skinted my tank and have only reached 30% regen, but feels so much tougher its been worth it, i dont think im going to bother trying to max out the build as tbh theres nothing in the game that needs a build like that (unless u fancy soloing STF )
prehaps when the prices are less crazy it might be worth it or if i actually PvPd.

Ahh now the problems begin!! goin with power but only have space for 3 of em..if im now going to get the in vogue vengance.
so its a choice between conserve power and total focus??
Personally im heading towards conserve power, do i really need a hard hitting ST attack on my defender?

gunna go with power to start with becuase i can get build up from the off and try it out, rather than wait for powersink which seem to be the best 2 powers in the sets imo.
I sort of play (if team allows ) as a offender so power build up will help me loads, as for having end difficultys i only get those when running all my stormie toggles (i keep steamy mist on, use snow storm on bosses and only use hurricane when needed) this could be offset a bit by conserve power.
Are the shields worth getting??

your in a PvP zone so your going to get hunted, being a stalker and proberly having had your fun in the zones up to now this toon how ever much its is annoying is proberly trying to exact some revenge now thay can..if it becoming abusive then report him, if he is just hunting any stalkers that come into the zone tough!! either fight or dont come to a PvP zone.

My storm/elec is about to get her epic powers, what would ppl recommend i was thinking of either
Elec for the extra blast , sheild and the extra end sucking power sink which when coupled with short circuit will leave everyone end less.
Or power build up (used with short circuit and lightning cloud or aim and TB), temp inv and total focus (which i know nothing about)
So what are ppls thoughts ive got no respecs left and cant get another until 44 so i dont want to make yet another mistake???

I put 3 def in elude and turn off all my toggles before the drop, a bluey, turned on again for no downtime..ive got an overload of slots on my kat/sr.
