Quote:No, this is incorrect. It could potentially effect any toon over 20 who has a cape, or any new toon who doesn't want a cape.I would think most of one's toons over the level of 40 already got their Aura and so, the complaint that the Rep is offering the new cape mission is moot.
And any toon under 30 is only going to come across the new cape mission.
This only affects toons that were between 30 and 40 when the change was implemented. It's not like "I have to bring my 70 alts through a new cape mission!"
But you know, the Devs hate toons in their 30s! And want to exploit them!!
If the toon already has a cape and wants an aura they have to 're-earn' the cape again. This makes no sense at all.
If the toon is a new one who doesn't want a cape but wants the aura then they have to earn the cape first, which isn't quite as annoying as having to redo the mission again but is still a pain. -
It was about 8pm GMT or so that access was opened up for the loyalty customers. So as hard as it is be patient, it will happen.

Quote:Did you read the copy pasta above on why it WOULD be bad?I don't think merging some of the servers would be to bad all together, but before they do that I think they should (and probably are) see how much GR effects server population.
and really even then I would say maybe take the 4 lowwest (assuming the levels are low enough to warrent consolidation at all) and pair them up the lowwest pop of the 4 with the highest pop of the four and then the other 2, but like I said lets see what GR does for the servers first. -

Quote:Open beta? This isn't a free issue, it's a paid for expansion. It's likely there won't be one. Don't think CoV had one either.Ahhh, finally, some info...
10 days before release date... not too soon !
Btw... 10 days for an open beta that didn't even begin, should be short...
I would guess Level 32, like all the other Controller Pets. -
I tend to have my old laptop on with a browser and chat open. and the game full screen on my main machine. I also often have a book handy for when I am waiting on others.
I play full screen on my main computer. I don't tend to have other music playing but have the game sounds on. I usually do arcs or TFs and only do papers to do the safeguards/Mayhems. I occasionally badge and do minor trading. No flipping, just selling drops more than anything. -

It includes access to the full game as it is one game now. I'm uncertain whether Going Rogue will be included upon it's release.

Quote:Have you opened a thread in Tech Support for this? or /bugged it in game? If you haven't you can't complain. You see exactly what I expected.
Look thru the sheer number of threads with current issues, or you can make personal attacks and ignore the fact I AM A TECHNICIAN - I can read the same exact diagnostic logs you can.
I have a serious advantage - I have the system IN FRONT OF ME.
One more time and I am typing slowly so you may understand - Issue 16 - PERFECT 90+ FPS with busy areas bringing me to 40ish at times. Issue 17 downloads - I go from 70+ FPS at absolute minimum settings to at times 3 FPS just panning or crossing a zone.
In missions it can go from 100+ FPS to 1 FPS at the drop of a hellion. I am not the only one. In every team I have been in the last month or so we have mapservers, lag, rubberbanding and random DC's.
I would appreciate you ignoring me in the future Fitzsimmons and I will do you the same courtesy.
I've seen an increase in Lag in the last week or so. After I17 it actually got better EU side (my old laptop worked better after the issue, my new machine loved it) but on Wednesday it was kicking me out of game. -
Quote:It depends on your expectations. For me, debt is part of the fun. The 3 SG's I'm part of are Suicidal Maniacs and Debt Collectors Blue side and Suidical Lunatics Redside. Self destruct is practically a requirement if it's up.If you opt into a PUG, and that PUG doesn't perform as per your expectations, you might want to start soloing. Otherwise, just enjoy the ride!
But then... we like blasters.
-
Hmm, maybe. I managed to get back on last night and didn't have too many problems. Fingers crossed it was just a bad night.
-
The last few days appear to have seen an increase in Lag and rubberbanding on Union, to the point tonight it's almost unplayable (going in one more time to try).
A couple of others on my team were having issues too. I've not had Lag like this since I upgraded my machine in April and it's only in the last week or so (patch last week maybe?) that it's been happening.
Is anyone else having issues? -

Quote:As Roderick said above. I think Controller is the only AT that has team heals in the secondary and Defender have them in the primary. My concern was more that you were talking about healers at all. In this game they are a VERY minor set of powers far outweighed in use and number by Buffs and Debuffs. Support would be a much better term.PS> *in response to the nitpicking* I say "healer" because more than one class can carry a secondary that heals. It is most easy to lump it into one word vs naming off the secondary power skills. if you don't like this reference, give me a better one then. Seriously I think you are being too critical here.
Edit:
Forget the secondary part. Defenders have a support primary. -
What are you slotting it with? ED means more than 3 of the same is a waste if you are trying to just slot speed enhancements.
-
Could you please stop refering to healers? There is no AT in game called a healer, and no sets that are dominantly healing.
-
I'm more likely to work the otherway and check someones SG if they are good rather than if they are bad. It's usually cos I would consider inviting them to my SG and take note if they already have one.
-
They've used the slow field, but it's limited in what rooms you can place it and there appears to be a bug in I17 that makes it look bad.

Firstly, welcome to the site, and possibly the game
secondly, when making a suggestion more information is better. As your post reads now you want a set that will allow you to clone your character like masterminds do. Which they don't, but that's how your post sounds. With Power set suggestions it's a good idea to flesh it out and suggest the 9 powers and how they would work. I'm guessing you meant a Mastermind power set so...
Quote:Now people have something to talk about.Tier 1 - small blast (not sure if the blasts are 1 or 2 but hey it's your story )
Tier 2 - Simple clone (has access to some of your blasts, upgrade to more of them)
Tier 3 - Another blast
Tier 4 - improved cloning (gives clones more of your powers)
Tier 5 - Biggest blast
Tier 6 - Complex clone (has some blasts and some of your secondary)
Tier 7 - Heal
Tier 8 - Perfect Clone (has access to all your blasts and some major secondaries)
Tier 9 - Perfected cloning (makes your clones even better)
NB I was willing to type that all out for you cos I happen to think this would be a wicked set. Not sure how it would work mechanically but would look way cool. -

Quote:Yeah, this was my thinking too. Although I tend towards Pray-tor-ea in my head.I feel so ashamed. I keep hearing it as Petoria.

1) there is a Message of the Day for updates and new rules, but yeah, somewhere to record info like this might be useful.
2) Inclined to agree with this, have come close myself, although isn't there a pop up that will say 'are you sure?' when you do?
3) If they do, and I'm not opposed to it, I would like an option to set the number for your SG. 13 is too many for me, realistly 2 or 3 would suit.
Note: We use the term Dev's here, not game maker. I noticed one of your earlier threads someone thought you meant a GM (game moderator/master) which can get confusing. Dev's are the developers, Posi, WW, etc.
