    No. The animation time for snipes is so long suppression has ended before the snipe fires. Suppression didn't affect what you describe. Another example, perhaps?

    Fly had a sizable tohit penalty from launch to i4. Superjump didn't have any penalties until suppression. Superspeed... had enourmous +def and -tohit before launch, but I think it was changed to not have any penalties but providing minor stealth around launch.

    As a tanker: I can walk up to grey minions with invinc. They will give their text message that they've been engaged, use 1 attack, then stare at me with those yellow tohit decorations floating around them.

    Them standing there, staring at me is the result of taunt working. Turning invinc off allows them to eventually run away (coinciding with the tohit decorations dissapearing).

    It's not doing anything to grey lieuts or bosses, as mentioned by _Castle_.

    If brute's invinc aura doesn't even affect minions... this is incredibly amusing.

    I love bugs.
  8. scrappers and khels are able to take "agro" from invincibility, blazing aura, and tanker melee by simply attacking. I'm looking at it right now. the mobs are in range and being hit by the aura. Taunt, the power, still pulls agro (though I've seen instances lately where taunt didn't pull agro).

    True to an extent. But, it does not apply in most circumstances.

    The time invested to prevent autoturret from being ported by recall friend is not less intensive than preventing cloaking device from supressing from using various devices.

    The time invested in making defiance increase damage as health drops is not less manpower intensive than making defiance increase damage and mez protection as the blaster suffers from mez (or any of the other dozens of suggestions)

    There is a very meaningful difference between wanting more done, and wanting something done differently.

    The "developer hate" is simply a common sentiment among the masses in any MMO. It's to be expected.

    That sounds very reasonable. That must be why in over 2.5 years of this game the developers have been using the term devices in every patch note and every forum post, except in one instance, and the 1 forum post was an apology for the 1 test server patch text mistake.

    Castle called devices "gadgets" mistakenly, and people have been ragging him and the other rednames in general for it since.

    They'd probably rather stay in silent apathy rather than talkative apathy.

    reduction to the overwhelming abundance of status effects in this game is past due, and anything that is done to reduce the frequency of "squishies" being hit by an AE knockback or AE sleep would be wonderful. So, it won't happen.

    I would guess they now get taunt resistance during the up arrows the same way they ignore attempts to mez them. You can probably taunt them just fine during the down arrows - if they aren't held at the time :P.

    I've never had any experience that suggests this is the case. I have never had an AV fail to attack me after I use the power taunt.

    going by what others are saying, block of ice would probably taunt av's. You should still be able to be tauntless if you wish.

    to sum up, agro got screwed and dev's never realized it. there hasn't be a red name specify what isn't as they intended, but it can't be working properly as it is.
    [*]taunt, brute auras, and tanker pool attacks pull agro[*]tanker auras, tanker 2ndary attacks, and all brute attacks don't pull agro.

    it's so completely random it's comical.

    the one in croatoa was no different (fought him just before the event). Although, the one in croatoa wasn't created 2 years ago either.
