Quote:Well, not a TF thing:Bit busy today, so no time to read through the whole thread right now, but I saw mention of changes to Numina? Are there other missions/maps in I16 that seem to have changed without a patch note? If so, could you guys put together a list and I'll make sure it gets into the hands of the right people.
Hess TF is being fixed, and the issue with Amy in the KH TF has been logged as a bug.
Caltrops are completely invisible now. I teamed with some friend to fight Chimera in Maria Jenkin's Arc, and one friend and myself could not see the caltrops dropping, nor once they hit the ground. My other friend could see them, but they were green like the grass they dropped on. -
Quote:Have not been able to repro this. All of the powers in Storm Control seem to be accepting colors as expected. Both in the power customization screen and in game.
Are you sure you've set those powers to use a customizable theme? Do you have the influence to pay for the changes? Etc
So a Black Lightning Storm tinted for a yellow secondary(thus showing internal Yellow Lightning) is meant to shoot a Black lightning bolt? -

Quote:So Zoning Pets is really nothing special because of Super-SK. *sigh*In issue 16, this is actually immediate if the pets level is higher than the pet owner's. So, let's say you're a 50. You summon your pets. You join a team that lowers your level to 25. As soon as you accept this level change, your pets go bye bye.
The same would occur entering a zone where your level is being dropped. Verified this two ways. One by starting a flashback mission. Second by entering an AE mission which was below my mission. In both cases, the effect was immediate. -
Detailed info only lists recharge time, end cost and range. There are no numbers in regard to what the debuff numbers are (-Acc, -Dam, -To hit, -Def, -Res)
Can anyone shine a light on just what Noxious Gas does? -
Well, some new Epic powers...

Fire/MM/Fire Blaster.
Why? Ooooh...
FireballRainofFireFirebreathPsychicScreamInferno-
DrainPsycheWorldofConfusionPsychicShockwave-
BonfireRiseofthePhoenix
*deep breath*
and soon some Melty Armor...(yes it's weaker, but it can take a Achilles' Proc) -
Quote:hunh. I thought the issue was the sharks were actually leaving the water. (Candygram!)Up until it was determined that because sharks couldn't leave the water that players would undoubtedly herd them up, lead them back to the beach, and then slaughter them for risk-free XP.
The idea of a ranged attack was kicked around, but after the friggin' lasers was veto'd that whole project lost a lot of steam.
The sharks could have little to no Xp compared to other enemies. Just a thought. -

Remember to take plenty of quarters:

and remember it could be twelve times worse:

Really, get well soon, or else!
or else what? um, well, or else we'll all cry. -
Quote:For those of you with Stone Armor characters, how attached are you to the current appearance of "Granite Armor"? There are a number of issues with Granite Armor that could be elegantly solved by changing the VFX of the power into something more akin to the other armor toggles in the set. IE, your player model and costume wouldn't go away, there would just be a new set of 'Granite' armor pieces overlaid.
I haven't made any decision to do this, it's just one of the options for dealing with the multiple issues we have with Granite Armor and I wanted to get a sense of how many of you guys wouldn't be able to adapt to a change like this.
Before anyone asks, no...we couldn't have it both ways.
Whichever gets i16 live sooner.
Otherwise, change is good. -
My Arsonist is named "Kenny".
Take a guess why.
Anywho.
I have binds to heal each Thug. Kenny gets more than any of the others. It does count towards healing badges, if one is really hurting for a pro to this con. -
Powers of a different name stack. (i.e. -res from Howl doesn't stack with another use of Howl)

For some major crowd control and Damage: Ice/Storm. Blizzard + Freezing Rain = massive carnage. (just make sure to slot Freezin rain for Slow!)
It's not seen too often, because it's harsh Endurance-wise.
[I've slotted for heavy End reduction, 5 x 2% recovery, 5 x 2.5% recovery, 3 slotted end mod in Stamina plus the Performance shifter proc and Conserve Power(Mu Mastery)] -
Grounded might be 'skippable' it grants immobilize prot that can be granted with Combat Jumping. The KB prot only works on the ground and Acrobatics or IO's can grant you KB. It grants a little Energy/Negative res, but not much (and you will likely near or hit the cap for energy res without it). The thing Grounded does do that is hard to give up is Endurance drain resistance(not recovery debuff res, but actual drain prevention)
Converse Power was skippable, but it's becoming Energize. As it's the only heal the set will have....
Do not skip Energize.
Lightning Reflexes is great, but not absolutely necessary.
Power Surge is the only way this set has to get Toxic Resistance. Yes, you can skip it, but you will have a gap in your defenses. (Yes, you can get some with IO's, but it isn't much)
Lightning Field may be skippable is you have Taunt and take Power Sink, as it has a Taunt component. Power Sink itself isn't absolutely necessary since Tanks can take Conserve Power for Endurance. You can skip one or the other, but always take one of them for agro. -
You make them feel so unworthy, they "lose the will to live."

Eh, I never bet on Soon™

I wish we could. The major problem (that I can see) is how does a giant fit inside a mission? Major collision issues. As it is, olne can make an 8 foot tall toon, and your head will clip the low platforms in sewer maps.
-
I think it's related to the detoggle bug that's still occurring. The server forgets the status of one's powers and effects, and runs up some patrol XP too.

Quote:I suspect this may be necessary as any pet mez powers work differently in PVP. The PVE pets got to go, and PVP pets need to be summoned.Took my level 50 Robots/Thermal to Cap.
Summoned all the bots and did both upgrades plus the 2 fire shields on the Assault Bot.
Entered Bloody Bay and...
All my robots were gone.
Resummoned them all. Obviously I could not give the second buff in BB so I gave them the first and watched my Assault Bot die. Put the shields on one of the Protector Bots.
Exited Bloody Bay for Cap and ...
All the pets were gone.
So (being very stubborn) I summoned all my robots again to see if they would zone at all. I went to the Black Helicopter to Mercy and they zoned and were no longer mine to control and I could not summon them.
So it is badly bugged again. -
Quote:/bind Shift+F12 "petcom_all dismiss"I, for one maybe, didn't wanna read all notes :P, am split at this.
I agree that if you get ambushed outside a mish, this will be more safe, and vice-versa of course. Though, I am fearing that having your pets out in the PvE zones (i.e. Sharkhead Isle) will cause a lot of unnecessary and annoying aggro.
