  1. In between playing this and WoW, I played on a modded WoW server where everyone got all kinds of cool tricks and perks to their characters, so that players could do more with a limited number of friends.

My favorite trick was /tele, where I could teleport to any zone in the game in a matter of seconds, including subzones.

This game already has teleportation. That would just make it one of the best travel powers, instead of that one that most granite Tankers pick because it's the only one they can use while shapeshifted.
  2. "A triumph!" Raves GLaDOS, "I'm making a note here, HUGE SUCCESS!"
  3. Congratulations.

    Wraith-Blade, 50 Fire/Dark/Soul Brute
  4. Since there are so many back ups, and I have a lot of work to try and catch up on, I'm dropping out completely for this week. That shouldn't have any real effect on anything, though.

    Best of luck.
  5. Weapon: An umbrella seemed to work pretty well for Frank West
Song: Thought about this for a bit: Ouroborous, The Mars Volta. It's a longer/varied song that I wouldn't get bored of too quickly.
Escape: Just head for higher ground. If Honda's Asimo can barely climb stairs, it'd take a zombie forever to get to me. And when they do just push em back down with the umbrella. They'll either starve or get bored.

Edit: Added a link to the song.
  6. Possibly for the momentary stealth break in the teleport IO, I hadn't thought of that.
  7. A good general bit of knowledge.

But if that was directed at me, Project SIN is a Warshade.

    Hero-Con 09

Dang, I wish I could go. I'd love to get one of those Hero Packs.
  9. Yes, Project SIN.

Stealth IOs, when the power that has the IO is triggered, last for 120 seconds after the power is activated. If the power that has the IO is combat jumping, then it lasts until you deactivate the power, and then for 120 seconds afterward. If the power that has the IO is teleport (like Project SIN), then you have to keep using it to reactivate it. But it hadn't deactivated when I was seen.

Also, if the stealth IO is in teleport, you lose that stealth when you activate the teleport power for about two seconds, so you have to be careful where you use it.

    RUSH the RIKTI!!

It sucks, but I can't go. I got swamped with work all at once and there's already no way I can get it all done by Friday. The best I can do is work until I fall asleep for the next two days.

    Again, sorry, Blue.

Edit: Couldn't concentrate, I was there as Darkness of the Pit.
  11. Well, I did sort of jump on one of the magma bosses faces. Literally. I hung in the air as the group turned to face me.

    It was actually pretty funny.
  12. Sorry it wasn't faster.

But hey, I learned that Shadow Cloak and a Stealth IO isn't absolute stealth.
  13. I liked my experience more on villains than heroes.

As with most 'raid' type things on heroes, people don't use strategy, they just pound on stuff until it dies, and do so in mass numbers. Numbers so massive, in fact, that entire teams failed to get badges when fighting the banners and GMs even if they were present from start to finish (because their team didn't do enough damage).

Due to the smaller numbers that villains possesses, we were able to get all six badges in one run. We didn't start damaging the banners until around minute thirteen (due to coordination errors), but we still had around a minute left when we took the last banner down (with the GM being an interesting experience, because he, Eochai, spawned next to an Eochai). And we did all that with about twenty-four people.

I've played WoW. I've raided Outland (pre-Wraith). I fought Vashj. A 25-40 equivalent this is not. This is cake. It's just not pound cake.
  14. I start up projects (or use to, now I WISH I had the time to play more). Start writing, try to create a combat system and balance it. Draw, paint, sculpt. Pick up a cook book or other "how to" type of thing and learn how to do something new.

Or, perhaps a little more dangerous, start up a different MMO. See how you like it. Try to compare it to this one (even if in most ways you can't). If you love this game for a good reason (and it's more than just that you think you do), you'll come back to it.
  15. Obsolete (#2225) @Demon Shell

There's a lot of information, and I wonder if it gets too confusing, especially with the cliffhanger ending (which I will work on continuing when/if players ever get access to Peacebringer powersets, or at least the ability to use the powersets of the Awakened Division on custom models).

Also, I noticed that you don't seem to get the rescue clues unless you're standing next to the person when you rescue them. But that dialog only reinforces concepts, it's not vital.
  16. We won, if you weren't there, you should have been.
  17. Hey, me and some other people ran the Eden Trial tonight. I know lots of people signed up, so I'm going to step down and let someone else take my spot.

If, for whatever reason, there aren't enough people on the night of the event, I will be there to help fill (so put me down on the bottom of the backup list). And since I already have the badge now, I can bring any AT.
  18. I'd go with Blue.

On a more serious note, all of my characters are 46 or higher. I have no one I could bring to start the trial with.

I do have one level 2 Tanker, but same difference.
  19. Glanced over the first page, never saw it stated.

Because there are two types of physical damage, lethal and smashing. Blades are lethal. Turn the blade into a baton and it becomes smashing (thematically).
  20. I should be able to bring a Scrapper.

    My alarm is set.
  21. They aren't really overpowered because of their class, they just have blue gear that's equivalent to BC purples. When Outland came out, all the highend raiders that had purple gear shredded up Hellfire or skipped it entirely and went straight to the 'marsh.

Out of everyone that actually managed to participate on double XP weekend, I think I leveled the least.

    answer me this

Awesome. Looks like they do care.
  23. My bad, thanks.

Blue! Dude! You gotta try this! It's awesome!

The only downside is that you have to have one extra button to go back to human form.
