You made an assumption. That's not anyone else's fault.

Rumor has it that the music in Atlas Park is being changed to the Benny Hill theme.
  3. I honestly don't know how they choose who gets in from one beta to the next. If we knew the exact criteria for being a guaranteed beta tester then everyone would do just that, and not everyone wants to be helpful when it comes to betas (I'm not implying that you, specifically, aren't). The purpose of closed betas is to obtain focused feedback from a smaller group of dedicated people, and large groups of people in betas tend to create a lot of noise that makes it more difficult to get that feedback.

I'm almost positive they don't invite the exact same people every time. They probably switch things up to see which members of the community are the most productive testers. Maybe. Pure speculation on my part. It'd make sense though.

Also keep in mind that this current closed beta just opened today. They tend to start things REALLY small-scale, with just the developers and their friends/relations/etc. After a few days, when it's apparent the server isn't going to choke on its own tongue when a few people log in, they add more testers.

    Test Server Down

Hmmm. The test server appears to be up. Upon attempting to access the server, a message appears indicating the test server is closed to the public. I'm guessing the devs are checking to make sure things aren't horridly broken before starting CB.

I remember that write-up. My reaction:

Yeah, and Blasters got the original version of Defiance, which increased their damage as their health dropped. Blasters had gotten hit pretty hard by ED and this was meant to somehow give them greater survivability. The logic behind it may have looked good on paper, but in-game it never quite worked out.
  10. The powers? Force Field/Energy Blast/Power Mastery Defender, I guess.

    The results? Well, NPCs cheat.

  12. You might want to consult this thread. I don't know for certain if it'll help, though.
  13. Yes, widescreen loading screens would be very, very awesome.

This is similar to I17's allowance of (V)EATs to anyone with a level 20 PC -- it grants easier access to content that was gated.

Yeah, I know that for some, that's not good enough.
That's a good point. I suppose lowering or removing barriers does help.

I can try. I'll miss a few things, but we can call this a rough draft. In my opinion, new zones are not automatically 'content'. Task forces, trials and contacts with story arcs are what I'm taking into account.

Issue I Added 40-50 content in the form of Peregrine Island and the contacts there. Introduced Malta, Carnies, Nemesis and Praetorians as enemy groups.

Issue II Added respec trials (24-33, 34-33, 44-50) , the Eden trial (39-41), the Cavern of Transcendence (12-15), the Sewer Trial (38-40), the Shadow Shard (and I'm assuming the four 'Shard TFs (40-44 40-50, 44-50, 44-50), but I may be mistaken) and the Hollows (5-15). Also added badges. BADGES.

Issue III Added Striga Isle for levels 20-30 and, temporarily, the Calvin Scott TF (30-36).

Issue IV Added Kheldian-specific story arcs from 1-50.

Issue V Added Croatoa for levels 25-34.

Issue VI City of Villains launch. Initially included 1-40 content for villains.

Issue VII Added 40-50 content for villains in the form of Grandville and its various contacts. Added mayhem missions.

Issue VIII Revamped Faultline for levels 15-25. Added safeguard missions.

Issue IX Added the Statesman Task Force and Hamidon for villains.

Issue X Revamped the Rikti Crash Site into the Rikti War Zone. Co-op content from 35-50 including a task force (initially 35-50 due to a bug, now 45-50).

Issue XI Added Ouroboros (25-50) and the Flashback system.

Issue XII Added the Midnight Club and Cimerora (35-50).

Issue XIII Added Daedalus and Sister Arlia to Cimerora (35-50).

Issue XIV Added the Mission Architect (1-50).

Issue XV Added the Dr. Kahn TF and Barracuda SF (both 45-50).

Issue XVI No new missions or task forces, but Super Sidekicking was introduced and many zones had their entry levels removed. The new difficulty options were a big plus.

Issue XVII Adding new story arcs (20-30), two for heroes and two for villains. Positron TF is being split into two halves (whether or not both TFs are in the 10-15 remains to be seen). Kheld/SoA unlock reduced to level 20. Subject to change.

I based this off of the ParagonWiki pages for each issue. If I missed anything, let me (and ParagonWiki) know.
