That's OK for the fly, but what about the ointment?
-
When he says "artwork", I assume he means the Mutant pack costume pieces, now being tested on the NA test servers.
-
I don't panic on blasters. I just...um, retreat very quickly. The terrifying shrieking? That's my...uh, battle cry! Yeah, that's it!
-
I think some of a Monstrous pack should take at least a little inspiration from the works of the great Ray Harryhausen. I'd particularly like to see something (in pieces and parts) like this cyclops.

Sidebar that you can do the 21 days to get the Day Job badge by logging out in RWZ well before 35, but the badge won't pop until you hit 35.

Quote:I hurt my back day before yesterday and was on painkillers all the next night. I wisely only read the boards last night and didn't post the loopy things that were going through my head.
ArcticFahx gets the nod:
And this, friends, is why you shouldn't post while sick.
Maybe I should have. It might have been entertaining. -
What exactly do you mean by "the game had to fix itself"? Also "barely visible"? Did you go into your graphics options to see if anything changed? I know last patch there was some adjustments to the shadow scaling that changed stuff for some people.
-
I will verify that that worked for me a couple of months ago. I almost always max out the thread sizes on vBulletin boards, but here it didn't work right.

Quote:GR gets its own, just like CoV. In this case, it's the EU test server.
Techbot Alpha wonders:
So what about US test? Im assuming that also has GR on it? Or does that get its own unique shard? -
Didn't seem any slower to me when I played day before yesterday.

Quote:No kidding! Full chromosomal instead of genetic!
DumpleBerry better step away from the reactor:
Jebus, when you people mutate, I guess you don't mess around.
But it would make a cute visual. -
I will have to say that David is my favorite dev at the moment, due mostly to his massive interaction with us here on the boards.
-
Quote:Just the mention of it makes me slightly nauseated, but it would probably sell like hotcakes.
SilverAgeFan belies the name:
In the future booster pack ideas thread in general discussion, I did suggest a Kawaii themed Booster, complete with floating heart auras. Butterflies would work too. Because it's cute, sadly the devs might dismiss it as a joke. -
Quote:So you're saying Marketing might have him by the...Black Pebbles?
Caligdoiel will regret giving me an opening:
Unless, of course, those Marketing bustards (it's a bird!) have him by the mivonks and he can't say anything more. -
I'll wear them with honor!
-
Quote:Possibly, although I do like the new MA alternate animations for that.
Hyperstrike notes:
Since scrappers don't really get a good set that simulates fisticuffs, I'd say Donnybrook is better for a tank.
Brouhaha is a nice one too. -
You don't get early access to DP or DS with the pre-order, only with the pre-purchase. It's actually the major point of the pre-purchase.
-
I really like the name Donnybrook, but it's more appropriate for a Scrapper.
And makes me also want one named Brouhaha. -
Build the engine, and they will come.
-
Well, technically, the Shocker has more generic vibration powers than sonic, but point taken and agreed with. They're aping Banshee and those like him. On my Virtual Lad, I just assume it's coming from his helmet and he's pretending to yell, but then again, he's an AE only concept that's just "pretending" anyway, so it's kind of moot.
-
They're not so much "better" as they are a "known factor".
-
You will get no argument from me.
I want a flying horse like the Shining Knight! Even if I can't ride him. -
Depends on what you're trying to do, too. For me, Invincibility at 18 is when you really start feeling like a classic tanker so I always take it there.
I save RPD for 50, myself but I'm no "expert". -
The fact that even you, sure as you are, admit you could be wrong is why there's need for clarification (although I must say I'm leaning towards your...and others'...view as well)
-
Subjective: Count me in with the "what's so 'mutant' about this?" crowd.
Eh, they're...OK. A little too specific for my tastes, but frankly, I'd probably buy the pack for Secondary Mutation on its own. Have to agree with those that are saying that so far this seems to be the weakest pack of the bunch.
