  1. You don't keep any set bonuses that you exemplar more than three levels below.

    With all level 25 IOs, you lose your set bonuses if you exemplar to 21.

    Also, enhancement values begin to scale down depending on your current level and the level you exemplar to. See details here.

    Just so you guys know, I didn't want to register, but I wanted the new map pack, so I googled i17 vidiotmaps and found someone had it on a megaupload.com page.

    I don't suggest doing this unless you know what you're doing and have antivirus software you trust.

    For your mastermind I suggest something like +0/x6 or +0/x8. Bosses or is left to preference.

    For your stalker I suggest setting it to +1/x2, with bosses. Bosses don't tend to spawn regularly unless the mission is set for two people.

    We have seen none of it's zones, none of its content, none of the Praetorian AV revamp, the side switching capabilities, two more powersets, costume pieces, emotes and entire list of unmentioned stuff.

    Oh I wouldn't use the totals tab. Click that button that says "View Totals." It brings up a separate window for it which is, I believe, much better and easier to look at for viewing totals.

    Very well, helpful suggestions:

    Prove that population is declining. This would require months of study, with samples taken at varying time in the day.

    Revisit your assumption that population is declining when you find you cannot prove said assumption.

    Prove that advertising will bring in more population. Do a study or some analysis and try to prove that advertising is a more cost effective way of bringing in population than spending resources on a new boxed expansion that will be advertised by game stores.

    This one's a suggestion just for you, so that you'll be taken more seriously: Get an education. Use proper punctuation and grammar. Spell correctly. Don't come in here with an attitude that you are right and everyone who questions your opinion and assumptions are wrong.

    You just took those pictures now? During off peak hours? While everyone's at work or school?

    I happen to see plenty of people hanging out under Atlas when I occasionally fly by.

    You are forgetting the large number of vets that are smart enough to hide from searches.

    Also, just judging by your general attitude, I wouldn't be surprised if you aren't on a lot of ignore lists and have trouble teaming yourself because of your reputation. This is just an assumption, of course.
  12. I'd like to offer up the backstory for my peacebringer.

    He was a dying kheldian on a desolate planet, when by chance a human explorer happened by. The human was not willing to merge, but he offered the kheldian to "merge" with the fiber-optic based circuitry of his ship's artificial intelligence.

    An being of light living in a light based computer seemed like a reasonable enough idea.

    You do know that the dots indicate server load, not population?

    As Aett said, the servers, particularly freedom and virtue, have been upgraded over the years to handle more load. Population has grown, but server capacity has grown more, thus the green dots.

    How about one that makes you just be a transparent ghost standing there, waiting to be revived?

    I'd suggest something where you go "poof" in a cloud of smoke with nothing left, but your allies need something to target...

    Yeah, it does. I forgot you're still at that "I need moar slots NAO!" phase. Gravity Well is your heaviest hitting single target attack, it activates fast, and it's a hold. I have mine slotted as a hold that does damage. Basilisk's Gaze gives a pretty rare 7.5% recharge bonus in four slots... the last two are level 50 common damage IOs.

    I went without a travel power on my tank and I find that I'm ok with that even on the Master runs. I do, however, have hurdle and combat jumping, which amounts to a good speed. I highly suggest this strategy to others as it provides great, unsuppressed combat maneuverability.

    Recharge suffers from diminishing returns, simply because of formula involved. Each percent of recharge adds a little less than the percent before it.

    That said, 110% global recharge will make three slotted hasten permanent. In my mind, any more than that is a waste. Eclipse can be permanent with less though, which is the real goal.

    The Performance Shifter proc grants 10 endurance with a chance every ten seconds in a toggle, which works out to be .2 endurance per second on average. One level 50 end mod IO enhancement in Nova or Dwarf form only gives you .1 endurance per second.

    I also just tested this: With a performance shifter proc in both forms, you can repeatedly switch back to fill your blue bar. Every time you switch you get the chance for the proc to go off.

    Human form Detonation is a waste to a TriFormShade. Unchain is great, but Gravitic is useful much more often. You can stack the stuns on top of each other.

    Gravitic into a corner -> Mire -> Gravity Well a minion to kill it -> Unchain essence. The boss is now stunned (likely) and everything is almost dead.

    Those are the tools that will help you plan your character, and yes, it will cost a bit more than three million. Check the market forum for easy ways to earn your millions.

    It doesn't defeat the purpose of enhancing because in getting the set bonuses, you end up with more than 6 SO's worth of enhancement in a power, sometimes in 5 or less slots, plus all the bonuses. They are expensive in proportion to their benefit, that much is true.

    I'm in the process of revising things to make it more playable, and I'm glad you brought this up. The first time I read your reply suggesting to add scaling resists I just thought, "...huh?"

    Anyway, yes, 23% is there from the start, but it goes up after the 75% mark. Initially I had thought it should scale linearly, but now I'm thinking it should follow a more logarithmic scale. Think 65% resist at 50% health for a tanker, maybe 55% for everyone else. After that the growth is slow, capping at 90% for tanks and 75% for everyone else at 20% health.

    Does that sound better?

    Also, I've edited the powers in the initial post. Tier 2 has moved to tier 1, the tier 1 has been rolled into the tier 9, and a new power has been added that gives the set some more active mitigation.

    At this point, is it survivable enough, but not too survivable that the damage buff is overpowered?

    Yes.

    And yes.

    I wanted to buy the magic booster, but instead bought the Architect edition for $20. It gave me a free month plus the booster, so it's like I only spent $5 on the magic pack.

    Much later, I just bought the GvE edition for another free month plus goodies for another $20.
