But I'm also curious what this means for Ken Morse...

First off, you've not created distinct IDs for the FX shots. You have:
Quote:It should be:0 9 FX Maintained WEAPONS/SUBMACHINEGUN.FX
0 9 FXSCALE 10.000000 10
0 9 ORIGIN ENT 0 0
0 9 TARGET ENT 9 0
Quote:0 9 FX Maintained 12345 WEAPONS/SUBMACHINEGUN.FX 0

Yes, Tom deSanto (the producer of TRANSFORMERS) has the rights to make a CoH film. And a while back, he'd said that it might be set during the Rikti War.
That said, I would much rather see it animated/CGI than I would live-action. Get Michael Giacchino to do the score (after hearing him do THE INCREDIBLES, he'd be great), get some really good voice actors with a good script and the potential is definitely there.
And if they insist on getting a third party to write the script, by all that's holy, make sure either Joe Morrissey, Sean Fish, or one of the other PS writer/story bible team is there as a consultant to make sure they get as little wrong as they can.

You all grouse because you have to change your clocks.
We in Arizona grouse because we have to remember whose timezone we're in now.
Wherever Daylight is saved, we need to have a mayhem mission to rob the place.

Steel, if you can find someone to sing that, I will not only film the dance scene, I will put it on the monitors in Grandville.

Quote:*looks at Castle, looks at Sunstorm*Sunstorm worked on Electric Control as a training exercise when he first started working for us. The set is currently sitting in the spreadsheet I have set aside for such things. It was a good effort, but by no means ready for release, and there hasn't been any announcement of us working on the set at all.
I'm not ruling out Electrical Control as a set, but it is only one of several sets that are in the wings waiting for the thumbs up to proceed with.
Hey guys, if I make you brownies, will you finish Electrical Control? Please? (If not by GOING ROGUE, then Issue 18 would be fine.)
I promise, the buzz will keep you awake and raring to go for about a week. Just let me know what alcohol you want as your flavouring and I'll send it up to Mountain View.

So it depends on the person - one person might go, "Hey, I know there's a bunch of mistakes in my arc, I'll throw you some inf if you wouldn't mind helping me," while another will say, "Nah, I'll do it myself or get a friend to do it for free."
About what I thought.

Really, it's more for a sideline thing than anything else. I'd never make a living off doing this here. And like I said, it stemmed a lot from the discussion of whether folks would actually 'pay' (be it inf, salvage, recipes, money, whatever) for someone to proof their arcs.
As for making any sort of monetary gain, considering how many fan artists are making money off this game... 'nuff said there. Against the TOS? Maybe. But no one's stopping them.
As for making a lot of money and being happy, that's not going to happen for me in this game - I can be happy, and do something I'm good at, and that a lot of people enjoy, but I'll never make $$ off it (namely, my videos).
Still, I appreciate the reply, and hope this clarifies a couple things.
Cheers,

The subject of editing services came up the other day in the MA Arc Finder channel, and I wanted to throw this question out for the MA community at large. I know for a lot of players, MA arcs are just for fun, nothing to be taken too seriously (or worse, are just farms).
But for those players who are serious about writing and producing content, but who might not be the best at spelling, grammar, and so on, would you actually pay someone to go through your arc and find the mistakes?
And if so, how would you pay? Inf? Recipes? Or would you actually pay money if you were serious about including the content you write in a portfolio for consideration for a position in the gaming industry?
What are your thoughts?

Dark Respite is probably the only person in this thread that might get that reference, I'll be somewhat surprised if she doesn't.
Trinity Blood, anyone?
Did you make him on Justice, by any chance?

Yep - he's turning 45. Not quite 'get off my lawn!'... more like somewhere between 'old enough to know better' and 'young enough not to care.'
Happy birthday, hubby mine.

The Thurs of 2xp weekend, as it turns out, we had two sewer teams forming at the same time. We decided to race - everyone fought together til we hit the junction where you could start booking it to another zone, and one team went one way, one team went the other. Great fun trying to see who could reach another zone first, and we were chatting when we met up in the hospital after death expressing out.
I echo the sentiment "if you don't like the teams forming, then form your own".
