Quote:An 11 man league would all receive the necessary shifts, and without knowing what your League makeup was (ironically, I've noticed farms running with higher than average support toon makeup), it's impossible to tell - it may have been luck of the draw, but you may have pulled 2 rads, a thermal, a cold, and a couple sonic attack defenders (to go with the rad/cold).There may be some "mechanism" not working in this trial, as I said before I'm not a number cruncher so I have no idea, but any league with EVERYONE in it focussing on the task and getting the timings right should be able to complete it.
Without knowing your make up you can't just claim the trial is working because you've beaten it with 11 - Lambda was duoed already, and I've competed Lambda with an 8 man team with NO ONE in the league being +3 (it was when iXP was bugged with more than one team, so we all needed destiny). -
I figure this is their apology for breaking the midnighter granting method because of that glitch (it wasn't because they thought it was improper in any way).
Also I heard that you have to be VIP to take advantage of this, so Premium's beware. -
Quote:True, which is why my Dominator is only Catalyzing his procs - He has 5 10% Recharge bonuses, so he gets more recharge by not Catalyzing. Please don't do this without first checking your set bonuses, particularly +Recharge. Uncatalyzed ATOs with a Recharge bonus give 8.75% - a unique bonus. Purple ATOs give 10% Recharge, the same as regular purples. This means that going from 5 purple sets + an ATO set to 5 purple sets + a purple ATO set will drop you from 58.75% to 50% global Recharge, because in the latter case, you will have exceeded the Rule of Five.
If you split the Brute/Stalker/Scrapper set into 2 sets of 3 for Smashing/Lethal defense, however, go ahead and Catalyze them. -
Quote:There was a GM who commented on it - "It's Lemonade. Many sets, colored in certain ways, could be used for inappropriate concepts. Water Blast is no exception. So, do what we're supposed to do, report inappropriate costumes and let the GMs handle it.
Thread with a link to a video of the set with discussion of its appearance."
Beautiful, and very well designed set. First day purchase for me. -
My Fire/Ice tanker is locked at 33 on Triumph and was the only character in my world tour phase that reached DOs, let alone SOs - Burn + Ice Patch was ungodly powerful way back when. I didn't feel the need to take him to 50 (He could AE farm at 33 for maximum value) and I haven't played him much lately, but Ice Patch can really allow your damage aura/burn to work wonders, while leaving you almost immortal to most mobs in melee range. Frost isn't bad either, but it's a finicky cone that takes forever to tick.
I'm thinking of making a Stone Brute/Tanker that pairs Bio Armor for synergy (Stone is end hungry, Bio has options; Bio relies on Regen to survive, Stone has Fault to shut down minions and interfere with LTs/Bosses). Haven't set it in stone, I might just go Titan Weapons again. -
Quote:Wrong. On pretty much every level. 2nd Gen ATOs were discovered due to a BUG on i23 Beta - and said bug was fixed, so you can't even get them that way. They were NEVER. Intended. To be in this issue, no matter how many of you people hoped so. The 2nd Gen ATOs are going to be in the next set of Super Packs which are slated for Late July, Early August as a BEST CASE SCENARIO.there are new ATIOs coming out they were on test already. Expect them soon. They were supposed to be in this issue but there was a bug i read in the conversion of them for some reason they were not put out. But they exist.
So save them at least for that.
To the OP - if you pull catalysts from mobs you might as well use them if you can Catalyze an entire set - if the character has no use for them (my Dominator needs two in total - one for each proc) then you can always convert them after upgrading and unslotting, but you don't HAVE to do so.
Also Ironblade - the Brute ATO set is going for upwards of 80 million a piece. -
Of course if we go through the entire incarnate arc without EVER talking to the one blatantly obvious ascended I'm gonna be disappointed.

All four of my legacy villains (Before XP smoothing and me not rolling villains because I prefer levelling quickly - ie large team steamroller) ran Slot Machine. At level 30. And got Gangbuster the Port Oakes method.
Why? I don't know, I felt special since I stumbled upon the Slot Machine contact without knowing the requirements back when no one knew where and how to get these contacts, and I liked doing it. -

We're dealing with Rularuu as well if I recall correctly.
-
To be fair, *I* only ran Keyes on my badgers for designated badge runs - I quickly grew tired of going to the hospital 6 times a trial with my blaster. It wasn't hard - we had no difficulty completing the goals in time, and the final battle was nothing more than a curbstomp - it's just that pulse was so unpleasant I boycotted the trial out of spite (again, not counting badge runs).

Quote:The Hybrid proc effects (Assault and Control) use an accuracy mechanic to determine their rate, and are unenhanceable and subject to the tohit rate of the power that they proc off of."Accuracy bonus" is also a global attribute so is "damage bonus" but Judgement and a few temp powers have damage set to unenhancable far as i can tell nothing has accuracy bonus set to unenhancable
Additionally, many attacks have secondary effects that have their own tohit rate - Subdue in either Psychic Blast, Psionic Assault, or Fortunata powers have a secondary tohit roll for the Immobilize effect - such rolls are unenhanceable, but interestingly enough subject to streakbreaker - if the attack was forced to hit, then the immobilize will as well. -
Actually the first few days most of us were more interested in Interface/Destiny than Judgement/Lore so we tried Lambda first - and found that the final battle was nigh-impossible without any incarnate shifts or judgements (it was FFG stacking overload - the Battle Orbs kept boosting Defense to an almost infinite amount) so we just farmed the outside stuff to get iXP since we had run BAF about 9000 times each.

Quote:Based on my experience with Taunt in PVP, I can say with confidence that the red target box will remain on the taunter for the full duration, and it's doubly noticeable if you actively target them, via mouse or target_custom_near.If you're right, THANK YOU for noticing that and passing it along, it was driving me spare. I'll keep an eye out for it the next time. When you say places a reticle around, do you mean that the corner-box shows up period for the duration of the taunt, or does it only show up if you mouse over them? The latter would be more annoying, since I don't do a lot of mouse targeting (too many targets the same height, too hard to target the ones in back that way) but at least it's something.

There is a thread IMMEDIATELY below this one. You don't even have to search.

For what it's worth, I ran the incarnate PPD mission from max and had two or three Dwarf form Bosses spamming their taunts, which got kinda annoying eventually. I thought something was different now.

Quote:I have 12 50s and two of them are still +1 (My Beam Blaster is CLOSE though, he's got a T3 lore ready, and needs one more empyrean to get a T3 Destiny for when the slots unlock).Yikes. I knew there were players like you out there itching for the next tier, but... man, to see the numbers.... that's impressive.
I... umm... have two characters that have their tier 3 unlocked on all powers with virtually nothing left in reserve to build hybrid with. Been playing since the purple patch and have 5 other level 50's... I think I bothered to unlock the alpha on most, but maybe 2 of them have a tier 1.
Only one of my characters has a Royal Flush and he's got EIGHT T4 Abilities.
It's just too much work after a while. And I'm completely SICK of BAF/Lam/Keyes for my new incarnate characters. -
To hit buffs (which Kismet is one) affect Judgement, and all Judgement's except Ion have 1.3 Base accuracy (Ion has 2.0) so it's not unheard of.

Quote:Because it meant that Elec armor and Fire Armor would be taking 50% more damage than before. Because those sets COULD hit the resistance cap for their respective damage types.Quote:I agree with you.
I don't think the fix is simple. Overall in it's current state I don't think this game has much room for either Tankers or Defenders. They overlap too much with other ATs without defining themselves.
But I still think Brutes need to take the Resistance cap hit. If Scrappers and Stalkers can make do with the same Resistance as a Blaster or Controller, Brutes do not need the same resistance cap as a Tanker.
And if you are teaming you aren't going to notice.
Playing end game? Who give a *&^%? You're probably destinyed up the wazoo.
I never got the Brute ******** about the reduction Castle proposed. -

Quote:They added a fix for the MM Pet AI to the beta server last week. Can't push a fix that might not exist or work yet.
They aren't going to sit there and focus all their attention on the one thing that bothers you. If it turns out along the way they figure out how to fix something else, they'll put that out there like they did with this Panther fix. But staring at a problem and neglecting others doesn't mean the solution will magically fall in their lap. Be patient.
