IRC. I'm sure a bunch of folks already hang out on IRC servers so we'd have to put our destination up to a vote or something. Mine is for Foonetic, which I'm already on.

Actually a bunch of people have come back from absences of 3 years and more since the game went FTP.
But you're not going to be swayed by such rational arguments, so here's a picture of Gary who is Getting Down to Business.

Quote:I believe that's the case. Even though the server lists were merged, I assume there's probably still some back-end stuff that distinguishes NA accounts from EU accounts. Because you owned the US version back in The Day, that meant you had an NA account. How do we still have NA and EU accounts when those were unified? Furthermore, why did I manage to snag an NA code when I live in the EU? Is it because I used to own the US version of the game despite my geographical location? How is that still relevant?
I think. -
Visit the Wikia wiki at your own peril, as it's loaded with malware, not to mention outdated/inaccurate information. Use either of the two URLs to mention the current wiki (they point to the same site):

Oh wow, that's just mean. Glad I already got a code during Mako Week.

Song lyrics/titles can be good.

Well, this thread escalated quickly.
I'd count on seeing at least a few of these powers in the recently-announced Psionic (or was it Psychic?) Melee set. -

Quote:Apparently Stan Lee didn't see X-Men Origins: Wolverine (who could blame him).
The question of a possible Deadpool movie was raised by a fan named Pam. Let me tell you, Lee began, Deadpool is such a popular character that Id be very surprised if he doesnt appear in a movie sooner or later, either as a character in another movie or by himself. I think with some characters, they feel at Marvel the best thing to do is introduce them in another movie like Captain America or Thor and then see how popular they got. But those things have not yet been decided. -

When I was 1, I experienced my first thunder and lightning storm. My mom came in to check on me to make sure I was okay. She found me standing up in my crib, pointing out the window and laughing like the Count. To this day I still love thunder and lightning, and I love math.

Quote:Sure it can. That's a awfully good point. I'm able to solo +4 AVs that have 50% smashing resist - Maurauder, Nightstar, Shadowhunter to name a few. I had to learn to slot Achilles Heels and Gladiator procs but eventually it became feasible. It takes significantly longer but can be done. I haven't had a chance to Power Analyze the big squid's head yet. His resist can't be any higher than 50 right?

Quote:No, that really only serves my point...You assume Humans, Kryptonians and other 'humanoid' races in the DC universe weren't all engineered to develop along specific lines by a race that came before.

Quote:The chances of an alien from a different solar system resembles humans in any way is pretty damn miniscule. If the rest of his body looks like ours, why wouldn't his reproductive system? (This makes no assumptions about internal compatibility, only external.)The silliest thing in this entire line of thought has to be the assumption that Supe's reproductive equipment and methodology is compatible with humans to begin with. He's an alien! From a different species, different planet, different solar system. The chances of Kryptonian plumbing in any way, shape, or form aligning with human plumbing is pretty damn miniscule.

The biggest problem with bringing base raids back is that pathing was intentionally broken ages ago so players could do more unique things with base building. To return to base raids would be the return of pathing, which would break tons of existing bases.
If you want a specific dev comment on why making any changes to bases is a bad proposition, check this writeup of a recent Dev Coffee Talk. Synapse specifically compares changing bases to "playing Jenga on fire" (whether the game or the player is on fire if left to the reader's imagination). -
They're just not an interesting couple. I always liked Batman/Wonder Woman as shown on JL/U.

Quote:What, you expect the detectives who give you radio missions to have wireless communication devices?1. After I've completed my first bank mission for a Detective, please dont make me travel all the way across the zone to get subsequent bank missions.
Can't tell you how many times I've done radios in PI where I'm in the vicinity of the police wagon, I have to travel across the zone to the Detective, than back across the zone to the wagon. Somewhat annoying. -
People used this feature on Beta a while back and discovered something the devs continue to disavow any knowledge of. I think they fixed it so it won't show anymore but I can't be bothered to check.

Quote:Just curious, did any of those demos include the entire game for free, or were they limited?I agree tho that it's risky, but no more and no less than releasing a demo of your video game, sure it can change minds but in both way.
I've tried a lot of demos of games I wouldn't have spent a dime on them and I ended up buying them instead, and obviously viceversa. -
Quote:Every event I've ever been to with code giveaways has been done via PMs (I should know, I've won them a few times, and there's no way I'd be quick enough to catch them from Broadcast).Ah, nice. I went to one event where they were just shouted in broadcast. first and last I ever went to. I would rather just pay the cash if I want something. The lure for me is just getting it months before anyone else of course.
In 2012? Inconceivable!
