The phrase "reboot the franchise" is generally associated with movies, not a line of comics existing within a greater universe. This would be an even worse idea to implement in the comics because of how great the impact would be across the Marvel Universe.

  2. By level 50 it's implied that you're a big name in superhero circles, so Positron knows who you are and that you can be trusted. This becomes even more evident in the first part of SSA2.
  3. I don't like playing against player characters. There is no change the devs can make to PvP that will make me want to participate.

Basically, just alternate the 2 single target attack to get through the mission until it gets fixed.
    False.

If you stay back and pull groups off a bit at a time, you can manage to get away with using Hand Clap on them once they get into melee range. Once you've whittled things down, the other AoE attacks can be used and you should be okay. You'll probably get lag spikes on each activation, but if you're careful you can avoid a full DC without sticking to ST powers.

I agree with T_Immortalus, unless there's some kind of clever optimization they can use, they'll probably end up having to reduce the number of enemies that are on the map at any given time. My hope is that they won't just outright nerf the mission but rather turn it into a number of large ambushes.

I disregard Red Hulk entirely since I had stopped reading comics a few years before that nonsense.
  6. I'd love to see a Darkseid + Apolakiptian invasion story, except it would seem like a major ripoff of Avengers and Loki's Chitauri invasion.

It would then be up to the members of the JLA to pull together and work together to overcome the individual traps set for them, which would allow for the team to form organically.
Already been covered, no sense in redoing the story in live action also.

I goofed. Lazarillo already made the joke I was trying to make.

This could have been easily avoided if there actually were a level 30-35 SF. Get on it, devs! I can't keep making a fool of myself like this.

It's nothing, this is the last week of the pilot program (presumably it will take more than a week for them to take what they've learned and apply it).

When the Red Lanterns were introduced Atrocitus stated that the rage required to earn a Red Lantern ring, is the rage someone feels when they are powerless to stop an injustice inflicted on them. The Hulk is not powerless when someone makes the foolish mistake of inflicting an injustice on him. For me the Hulk would be a welcome member to the Sinestro Corps. A chunk of the Marvel universe fears and avoids the Hulk. You had the Illumanti send the Hulk off into deep space, Dr. Strange banished him into another dimension, and the Hulk even managed to scare a demon out of his mind when it saw the monster that was locked up in Banner's mind. Everything that was done to get rid of the Hulk was done out of fear.
The real reason why a Red Lantern ring doesn't fit for Hulk is because his fingers are too large.

    You're welcome.

And I disagree, the Hulk personality is a direct manifestation of the powerlessness that Banner felt as a child, as another poster mentioned. Supposedly this is how gamma mutations work in the Marvel Universe; Samuel Sterns wasn't very bright, and thus became a genius, while Jennifer Walters was mousy and very meek and thus because a bombshell with a strong personality.

  15. omg did I just scoop Arcanaville on a game math question
  16. Maneuvers is +Defense to everything, not just positional, so yes in this case it will stack with whatever typed defense you have.

But typed defense does not stack with positional, the game uses whatever's higher. So if you have 10% melee defense and 5% smashing defense, and get hit with a smashing melee attack, it will treat your defense as 10% in calculating whether or not the attack hits.
  17. This actually sounds worse than X-Men 3. Never make it, destroy any mention of the idea, mindwipe the person who thought of it and anyone who saw it.

It's certainly not based on local time since the original announcement of Freebie Fridays gives the time range in several different time zones.

And if you have other obligations, then what are you doing posting on the forum?

Or just have future shifts count as Advanced Shifts that are only active on post-Magesterium trials.

You're right, I'm looking at it again and now cannot make heads or tails of what he's trying to say. The devs should remove all power effects? I mean, what else can they really do. This is what happens when you have 16-24 people fighting the same single enemy. Perhaps a little more forced league division would be beneficial, though (Lambda has the right idea here).
