It goes to the wrong mission or just stops working? Ouroboros Portals disrupt the Mission TP as well as the Pocket D and Wentworth/Black Market Transporters, if someone drops an O Portal anywhere near you that'll interrupt the TP.
If it's the former problem, well, I can't say I've experienced that ever, although I don't normally have more than one mission open at a time. Of course, on those rare instances I do, I usually end up forgetting to set the mission I want to go to and it inevitably sends me to the other one, but it sounds like you're aware that you need to do this.
On a final note...what money could they possibly give you back? Several years' worth of subscription fees? -
Quote:Program Files is a folder...I can't find it in that list.
I've had Liniage installed. I have STO and CO currently installed (and up to date).
So either I'm missing it somehow, avoided it somehow, or it isn't associated with those programs.
EDIT: I just checked, and I actually do have Pando listed in Control Panel Programs, so it doesn't really seem to be hiding itself in any way. -
Carnival Core Superior will have some Psi damage behind it from the Dark Ring Mistress, Rikti Core T3 or either branch T4 have Chief Mentalists.

This should have been called Bizarro Modern (with no other changes).

Sure is. Write them a check (or Visa gift card, or hell even $15 cash) with a note attached saying "4 paragon pointz".

Better question: Why does the player version of Hand Clap not do damage when the NPC version does?

Natural: Zookeeper
Magic: Animal mystic
Mutant: Animal mutate (and/or controls them along the same lines as Namor/Aquaman)
Science: Genetically-engineered animals
Tech: Robot animals
Covers all the origins for character concepts. You're welcome. -
Well it's definitely not 50, and it's not a Reward Tier either.

I would watch the hell out of this.

Quote:Supervillains break out of prison all the time (or never make it to prison before escaping). This seems kind of like a doofy explanation to me. How exactly do all these villains end up "missing"? Incarnates: godlike powers, but too lazy remember what they did to the cosmic threats?
Quote:Anti-Matter was sort of the butt monkey of Praetoria, and yet he seemed to be almost the only one of the lot who was actually competent and not criminally insane at the same time.
Uh huh.

It "works" in theory but not really in practice because everyone pretty much pre-forms their team then queues through LFG (and for TFs with existing contacts, many may still form the classic way). If a team pre-forms, isn't full and isn't locked, you can queue into it by joining an In Progress event, but good luck with that.
Your best bet is to find the busiest global channels on your server, that's where teams will be forming. There is also a LFG chat channel (independent of the LFG tool, it just shares the same name) where teams will form. -
Well my thought was a sort of "jack of all trades" sort of set (conceptually, not mechanically), almost kind of like Devices where you have a bunch of different tools you can use, only instead the weapon you choose is applied to all of your powers, and you can change it on the fly via toggles. The set I have in mind would be called something like "Weapon Mastery" if the name weren't already taken by an ancillary pool.

Well I mean, I was thinking along the lines of wrapping your customization ideas into the power itself. Switch to knives, you throw knives. Switch to shurikens, you thrown shurikens. Of course now that I think about it, then you're sort of hamstrung with a single damage type.
-
I wonder if it would be possible for a set of Swap Ammo-esque toggles to alter not just power damage effects but also their graphical effects. That would be a great way to implement a Weapon Swap ability and would give the set more variety.

You left out Shadowhunter. I haven't paid the closest attention in Magesterium so I don't know what his fate is supposed to be following his defeat there. Of course, he's technically already (un)dead anyway.
No Praetorian Black Scorpion, Mako or Scirocco that I'm aware of. Same with Barracuda, Ice Mistral, Wretch and Silver Mantis. Stefan Richter, of course, was killed by Praetorian Marcus Cole at the Well.
Praetorian War Witch's body has been possessed by the spirit of Primal War Witch, which means technically she's dead as well (but her spirit is still supposed to be roving about somewhere in Night Ward IIRC).

Quote:As someone else pointed out, Cryptic does use Pando (at least for Star Trek Online, Google search seems to indicate also for Champions), so I wouldn't be surprised if more than a few of us have it installed because of either of those games (I have Star Trek Online installed, hence my earlier confusion).Guild Wars doesn't use it and as stated by others, neither does City of Heroes. Do you happen to have Aion installed? I've heard people say that game uses it. If not, then it must be some other online game you have installed on your computer.
Hmm.........tried doing Google searches to find a list of NC Soft games, or any list of games at all that use Pando Media Booster. I got nothing at all that came up. However, I came across an article from Massively dated April 17, 2012 that said Aion is no longer using Pando but it was edited later that they got a response from NC Soft that the removal of Pando for Aion was only temporary. http://massively.joystiq.com/2012/04...ster-the-boot/
Seems the biggest complaint is that Pando hogs system resources and continues to run even when the compatible game is not downloading any updates.
Edit: The Pando website doesn't seem to have a list of games that use their software. It would be nice if people could find such a list so they can avoid games that use it if that is their desire. -
I'm still disappointed that they got rid of these, they were a nice little element of flavor that they've replaced with a sadly generic "this is what your character is" screen.

Supergroup colors?
Question: Why do my colors look different in the costume editor than they do in-game?
Don't delete your questions after they're answered, folks, other people may benefit from the answers and lacking context for the answer is not helpful. -

Quote:Pretty sure the NCSoft Launcher does in fact use Pando, so you ought to have it hanging out somewhere. Under Win7, it's installed under C:\Program Files\Pando Networks ("Program Files (x86)" if you're on 64-bit Win7).I updated Test after reading your post and got no prompts to install Pando Media Booster.
I've checked and it's not installed on my computer so I know it didn't do a stealth install.
It sounds like something else was running (possibly a program in the system tray or something in the background) that did the install. -
Grouchybeast is correct. If you can, the next time you get that message try to figure out whose avatar is causing it and let them know, that's what I did the last time I got a malware warning from the forum (which was a couple years ago, IIRC).
