Too late, for sure....I have all the booze! The power of Pinnacle compels me...
  4. I think you should drink a beer and eat some peanuts. Same thing for each additional post, as well.
  5. Great game - went to overtime. Unfortunately, Canada won.
  6. I've really enjoyed looking over this thread and seeing all the great costume work people have done. Definitely numerous entries who could be winners there...

Good luck to all the entrants, and best of luck to the judges who have to narrow these down!
  7. Nice artsies - congrats!!
  8. Very talented, but if he keeps drawing faces like that one, I'd be scared.

    Kinda Joker-ish, and well done.
  9. Looking good - nice work!

I may order some of those monkeys, too!

I think we all need to hit NVidia and ATI and make sure we request that they develop the SLI and Crossfire profiles for this game if they aren't there already, and hopefully while NC is upgrading things here, they'll go that extra step.

Ha, that's awesome! That needs to be a pic on an in-game badge or something...

Go see the PVP guy in Skyway city to learn about PVP
Go see Jim Temblor in Faultline.
Go see Stephanie Peebles in Striga Island.
Go see the PVP guy in Steel Canyon to learn about PVP again.

That leaves us one empty mission slot to run the important missions.

You know, for about 2 minutes of effort or less, you can do those, you don't get any automatic missions, and you get rewarded for it! What a deal!!
  13. With Regen, you will get hit, and you will take all the damage. With WP you have some other defensive capabilities. Regen can get nasty quick taking the alpha strike....WP not so much.

Regen is click-heavy and takes some practice to know when to hit what click, and you'll want to definitely look for recharge bonuses all you can to get those clicks back up and usable. WP is more toggles, so the End usage early on can be an issue.

For IO sets, Regen is pretty much looking at the heal sets, while WP has more options.

In the end, I like and play both.
  14. In the long run, IOs will be cheaper for you, since you don't have to replace them. What I generally do, though, is to slot just off drops up to lvl 12 or so when you can get DO's. I'll do the invention tutorial at that time, and make something and generally slot it if I can. Then I'll buy DO's, usually focusing on End Reductions and Accuracies, and slot drops as I can. I'll save up for lvl 22, when SO's are available.

From there until around lvl 32 I'll slot SO's unless I can get a decent IO around lvl 30 or so to use. At 32 I'll try to start converting to IOs, since they're better than SO's at that point, and will not expire, so you don't ever have to buy them again. Sets I'll generally wait on, unless I get some fortunate drops.

And there is no "endgame" at 50. The game continues: there are still foes to be defeated and things that can be accomplished. There's no real way to "win" in comic-dom. That said, as mentioned, Posi's working on more content for the 50's, which is quite nice.

Oh, and welcome back to the game!!
  15. Bad thing is - it keeps eating your mouse.
  16. Happy Birdie, Barron!

And cheesecake is the ultimate truth.

It may have been broken a bit years back. I was on my Inv tank working on the badge when the building went all asplodey, and I was amazed to still be standing. I was as low as I could possibly be in HPs, as I recall, but didn't have to hit the Hosp.

The only thing I would figure out is that, at that time, the auto-hit wasn't working right, and the Def made part of it miss, while the rest took me to probably 1 hp.

And no, I didn't take a series of screenies at the time because I didn't know it was ready to go - got there late and missed the pre-boom.
  18. Take a look at this site - they have a ton of systems there.

For that price range, this one seems like it would kick butt.

I have a Dell XPS laptop, and it plays the game well, too.
  19. Looks neat!

Holsters would really be a cool belt option now...
  20. Congrats to the top finishers, and to all who competed! There were a number of nice pieces, and it was tough even picking three.
