Well that is a plus, Panacea might make TB a little worth it.

Oh and Dechs like the sig, you should add something about Blasters and Tanks though and I guess the Def/Corr, but overall I got what you were trying to say about stalkers on teams. lol
  2. I wouldn't mind if they added a +recovery component to TB. Speaking of which if you add a Numina's proc to it will it go off on you and others or does it just have a chance to go off when you set the device up?
  3. I don't doubt that it is possible that a Rad Blaster would be able to do it, it will just be a bit more difficult, because I am certain that the values are going to be reduced.

As for the comment on bosses and below, it will help when you are fighting +2 and +3 mobs, it will help your team hit them easier because an enemy can't die if they don't get hit.

    OVERPOWERED !!! but nice
The -def component is not enough to do anything to an AV solo, you would probably get better milage from bosses and below. For like regular paper mishes, you will probably be a big asset to the team as far as AV's go, if you want to debuff them defenders and maybe trollers are the way to go.

Yeah, Doms are a great AT they are my favorite, the Blappers of CoV.

Wow that is a lot of consumption. How is it that you found out how much total he was using with his powers per sec?

Did you Add together all the end usage of the powers, divide the end reduction of the powers, and then divide that sum of all the cast times?

With your build, Hasten is up once every 141 seconds which is an uptime of 85% for an average contribution of 59.5% +rech and a cost of .106 end/sec. Add that in to the 79.79% +rech you've got in DC and that 62.5% +rech you've got from set bonuses and that gives you DC with a recharge of 59.6 seconds so that you can use it once every ~61 seconds. 23.75-110 end every 61 seconds would amount to .39-1.8 end/sec.

Even including DC's contribution, you're still going to be hemorraging endurance with a constant attack string. With 3.41 end/sec without DC (passive + .22 for the Perf Shifter proc), you'd get 5.21 end/sec recovery with 1.75 end/sec consumption from toggles and Hasten. That gives you 3.46 end/sec to use for attacks. The optimal attack string while Hasten is up for your build is Gloom>Smite>MG>Gloom>Smite>Siphon which burns 3.99 end/sec. So it's not even sustainable under optimal DC conditions to run at full tilt.

Not trying to downplay your math or anything, but what if he gets both accolades that increase his end bar a total of 10% wouldn't that increase the values of all the recovery to the point where he would actually be recovering more end than consuming?
  10. [QUOTE=Umbral_NA;2080556]The Perf Shifter proc provides more end/sec benefit than anything else you can slot into Stamina. Anything. I go into it in a bit more detail in this thread, but suffice it to say that the math is there.

Just checked that proc out on paragonwiki, and I will be putting that in my build when I get home tonight in both stamina and QR on my MA/WP tonite.

Pull 3 slots from stamina. You will be ok with just the +end proc slotted there
Can someone please explain this to me.
  13. This really isn't a problem, more of a technicality issue.

But seriously, why is Radiation Blast doing energy damage? Shouldn't it be doing something like toxic damage?
  14. To the OP,

It took me playing and leveling many different ATs to fully get the hang of Blasting. My First 50 in the game was a Fire x3 Blaster real long road there not much mitigation. but it is only through playing that you learn little things, like how sometimes if a enemy has a melee weapon out and then you immob them and go ranged it may take them a little while before they pull out their ranged weapon or do the ranged attack. Also ranged attacks tend to deal less damage than the melee ones. The best feature added to the game was IOs now my Fire x3 Blaps with ease having high melee and ranged defense with a decent AoE, but pales in comparison to my Fire/Dev who over softcaps ranged and AoE and hardley gets touched and can easily stay at range. Did an ITF with him and after the rest of the team wiped he was no longer blapping he was blanking, it was definitely one of those moments.

Main thing I would say is try to come up with a decent tactic or two and if that doesn't work use IOs.

Never said it wasn't, I was just saying that I was still having problems on one build with all WP's toggles, fighting, and FA. All of the toggles and attacks have one end reduc (except for FA that one has 3) and I have stamina and QR but my Blue bar still gets drunk down when I am fighting and was comparing it to my IOed build that has like probably anywhere from like 55% to 65% in each power as to a regular build that gets about 33.3.

    My End Hurts :(

I don't know, I have a MA/WP scrapper that suffers from the same issue, Well the 2nd build (I use for concept powers and some I wanted to test) I got end reducs in the powers and end reducs in the toggles and in Focused Acc I got 3 end reducs, yet and still the end bar still goes away quickly, and I have stamina and QR 3 slotted.

However, I will say this, the first build is IOed, good thing that when you are building for defense there are a couple of sets that come with recovery and end increase. About that build I only have just quick recovery and I suffer no issues running all the toggles and attacking. Also with the IOs I have gotten both Accolades that increase endurance, and the good thing about increasing you end is that when you do that you increase your recovery and recovery powers/IO set bonuses while keeping your end comsuption the same and when IO slotting you can maximize more than one aspect, like getting ED capped resistance and high end reduction in those high end costing powers like tough and weave.

I know IO's are cosly but you are close to 50, my level 48 makes like 2 - 3 mil off of about 4 radio mishes and if I play the market right 5 - 7 mil, so getting the IOs and the salvage to make them should not be that big of a problem, you should really consider IOs it will help you in the long run.

A couple of other easy ways to make money and get extras in the process is running TFs since you are a villain ITF and LGTF would probably be best for you. Something I don't agree with that well, but does tend to give a lot of money AE. Other than that do mishes take your salvage and IOs to the market and make your money. If you run the ITF at least twice a week at the end of the month you could get some nice stuff with the merits you get.
  17. Not sure if it does, but the Mind Link that the patron pet gets is different from what the Actual Widows get from the VEAT pool. So in that case looking at the power itself it only give perception and confuse resistance, so even if it were AoE you don't benefit much from it, you tohit and acc will be there same but you can see stealth enemies.
  18. Da_Captain

    Server Down

Yeah I can't get on either.
  19. I think you can but you will feel one of the two factors...

    1. Without powerboost holding them is significantly harder

    or

2 With Powerboost holding them is significantly easier

Honestly if I were making a build that was set to hold AV's I would definitely add powerboost in that equation. I am not sure but I think it also boosts the holds for the procs, that may not be true though
  20. If you have it slotted for holds, and you are a permadom with a secondary that has powerboost. Honestly I could easily see a Grav/Earth doing it.

Yes, although I am speaking from a Widow perspective.
  22. Can't be his recharge says 73.8 Basilisks Gaze gives 7.5% and he has two so that already makes your statement incorrect.
  23. To the OP,

Don't feel bad, I seen this game played when it first came out, and I believe it was i2 that I created my first Character an Energy/Fire Blaster, something happened to the account in like i3 and I had to get a new one. Didn't really like Energy like that so I changed to a Fire/Fire Blaster (If I could turn back the hands of time I would not do that to myself). I will say I started him in i3, I believe it was i6 when he became 50. It was a long road filled with death and debt. It was an enjoyable experience, and when you play to 50 the long way with a toon that has no protection or mitigation, you tend to get better with each and every toon.

I am proud of that, I don't care if someone gets to 50 in the same day, they can never say I been through ED, no defience, old defience, lots of debt, unsmooth xp, no patrol xp, no inventions, TO drops at level 45, and a lot more(or less however you want to look at it). I earned every bar on that toon and piece of influence so I hold my head up and feel sorry that the new generation will not get to experience the long road. Even now doing it the hard way is easier than the easy way back then.

AE is AE, people that expliot it will get mad if/when it gets nerfed, me I use it for RPing, and personal fun use, it could give half xp or no xp and I would still be fine. As far as farming goes it was there when I started and will always be there you can't stop it.

Not trying to defend farming, but sometimes farming isn't really farming it is just grinding, seriously what is the difference between doing the same map full of a certain enemy type and running level 50 invinc/relent mishes, I like the mishes for the mish bonus xp and drops.
  24. Container (Fire/Rad controller, he keeps everything contained)
    Flamental Anguish (Fire/Psy Dom)
Flashing Shadow (MA/WP Scrapper, new favorite toon)
    Dark Candle (Fire/Dark Scrapper)

Since posts after this one have pointed out that it is just a single name, I would have to go with Flashing Shadow of all of them
  25. Energy/Fire Blasting was a tough combo, but it was my first toon and I didn't know how to really play/slot or do anything right in the game.
