I'd pay extra for something along these lines.
A a balster secondary martial set just akes sense for so many hero types, but especially for those toting rifles or guns.
Not every natural character is a gadgeteer, after all. -
Yeah, I placed The Cerulean Legion in Hazmatter's capable hands after being AWOL myself for a very long time.
Most of the old guard has moved on, it seems... but it looks like there are some new faces, and with power customization the Legion could enjoy a strong rebirth/revitalization if the right people are in place to help Hazmatter out (one man can only do so much).
The group has a strong concept, put together by myself and many very smart current and past members.
The wiki page is pretty much updated, btw. I updated it shortly after I finally left the group, not so long ago. -
We utilize set uniforms for two of our units in SCORPIO (we use 'operations units' rather than rank).
There is the basic Spec-Ops uniform, including:
- 8-ply kevlar panels (able to withstand ballistic impact up to .45 caliber bullets)
- "Atlex 5" a fire-resistant material that withstand temperatures of up to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Anti-Gravity Harness, a standard issue SCORPIO device located within the lining of Agents' 'stealth' harness and belt. Can be used on 'low' for greater agility in combat, 'medium' for a sort of 'super' jump, and 'high' for flight. Follows directional touch control commands located in the palm of Agents' gloves.
and the Psi-Ops uniform... just your basic 'government spook' look.

With I-16 having arrived, I now like the look and possibilities of playing an Electric/Electric scrapper.
But I wonder if I should wait, since soon enough Brutes will be able to go hero-side.
What are the advantages of an Electric/Electric Scrapper over an Electric/Electric Brute, if any?
I ask because that Fury is imo a greater asset than having the potential of criticals... so I can't figure out why after 'Going Rogue' releases people would ever choose to play an Electric/Electric Scrapper when they could be a Brute.
Please help my little brain to understand. -
Is there any point in making an elec/elec scrapper when brutes will be able to be played heroside relatively soon?
I mean, scrappers don't get a rage meter... and rage meters are a good thing to have. -
So no one is taking electric/electric? Why not?
-
There are a lot of really awesome sig banners here.
Looks like I need to step up my game.

If SCORPIO doesn't pan out for you, give the Guardian Angels a look if you like. Though it does sound like they might be closer to what you're looking for, so good luck with 'em. I don't know any of them but their concept is very cool.

That's true, it is cool. :P -
I like the Rikti and all, but man o man do we need a new 'massive threat' to visit the city from time to time.
How's about a swarm of Bigfoot?
Or an attack from Atlantis?
Gremlins?
Evil Giant Kittens?
What if Paragon became bathed in darkness and we were attacked by Shadow Wraiths + Shadow Titans...?
What if civilians with bad breath chased us around asking for autographs?
When's the last time the Rularru invaded?
I wouldn't mind at all being terrorized by a large infestation of interdimensional mutant lizard people.
What if Statesman were cloned and an army of Statesclones visited with the intention of beating the living hell out of us?
What if Juggertha went mad and it took an army of our best heroes and villains to take him down?
How about radioactive rabbid squirrels attack, causing instant player death, and the only way to defeat them was to lead them into water, where they dissolve?
These are all great ideas. I give them to you freely. Because that's how I roll. -
Not a tribute character, but clearly inspired by several characters...
Jack Slayton
He is an "international man of mystery" of sorts, one of those old cold war super spy types who has adapted to the modern technological age. Inspired by Nick Fury*, John Clark, Ben Santini, Sam Fisher, Holden Carver, James Bond and those awesome Dos Equis "most interesting man in the world" commercials.
"He's a lover, not a fighter, but he's also a fighter, so don't get any ideas"
"He once punched a magician. That's right. You heard me."
"When he orders a salad, he gets the dressing right there on top of the salad, where it belongs...where there is no turning back."
* Yes... I know... the eyepatch. What can I say? I like it. It looks cool. *shrugs* -
My detective...
The Hornet
a wise-talking, slightly crazed, street-level kung-fu detective character, RPed as being edgier than my other characters and hopefully more humorous as well.
Inspired by The Green Hornet, Kato, The Phantom, The Question + Iron Fist. -

I'm having issues with the template for her herobox. I can't seem to set it up properly so that any acknowledgements I make on the template page don't show up when I use the box on Imi's page. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you putting your "acknowledgements" between a <noinclude> and a </noinclude>???
For example, The HornetBox template page looks like this after the actual template part...
<noinclude>
Made just for [[The Hornet]].
A color variation on Eisregen's VillianBox and HeroBox templates.
If you want to use it...
Just copy/paste the below list into your character's Edit box and fill in any categories that you might care to fill in. Leave all other lines blank or delete them.

I agree with _Antares_ .
Your UHVU page is really very good.
I shall eventually steal some of your ideas. -
