Option 3: Convince the devs to change click mez protection toggles so that they work like break frees. Then you wouldn't need to put PB on auto.

The biggest change I'd want to see is a complete overhaul of the lighting system. It doesn't have to be completely cutting edge, but it should be dynamic and have objects cast shadows that look like said object's shadow instead of a blob or nothing at all. Plus individual fingers and feet that don't look like flesh covered boots.

Level 24 feels a bit too far in a character's lifetime to branch (20 feels like it would be better). But on the other hand I've gone through the early Soldier levels 3 times so far and it's actually gotten more fun each time I did it.

It would make the hospitals a bit more useful than the current corpse dump.

Quote:Aside from having access to the base PPD powersets, I was thinking that the forms could be tweaked to become more of a toggle buff instead of a form; thereby allowing some base PPD powers and power pools to be used while in the forms. Of course the Awakened powersets would also contain far fewer powers than the normal PB sets.PPD should be the next HEAT, though the awakened branch would be pretty damn redundant as they don't do anything that a regular PB can't.
But I have to confess, the first branch I'd go down if they made a PPD epic would have to be the Powered Armor Corps. I just love those hardsuit designs. -

Easy solution (well, not easy, but sort of simple), give us a branching PPD HEAT (similar to the VEATS) wherein one of the branches is the Awakened Division. And then come up with some sort of VEAT that's similar to the Kheldians.

Quote:While true, the Warshade powers are much stronger and the situations where self contained powers are more useful are rather rare. A Warshade experiences a higher level of performance on average than a Peacebringer in my experience. One thing that does seem to set the PBs apart from the Warshades (and I think this is pretty significant), is that the PBs are pretty well self contained. Their buffs and heals and whatnot come from within, whereas Warshades require a good supply of victims (or their victims' bodies) to do many of the same things.

I didn't mean exact copies, just the style used (blocky robot parts instead of the usual organic styled robot parts).
-
My question is when are going to get player costume pieces similar to the Jumpbots and Mek Men?
-
Speed up Placate's recharge, boost defense debuff protection, and figure out a way to lessen the "Redraw Hell".
-
What about changing it to knockup? It feels to me (based on the animation) that it should be doing knockup instead of knockback.
-
I kinda hope that there's an option to start at level 1 after you switch sides.

Quote:Damn it Sam I lost an hour. Be more careful when you use a TVTropes link.As far as I've seen, and I've looked, believe me, snipes are one of CoH's examples of awesome but impractical power.

Quote:I think they should work on adding agile, balanced, and powerful MA animation sets for MA. I think that would be an easier goal to hit than adding in specific martial arts. This is sort of splitting hairs. There are a ton of martial arts styles in existance, and you can't hope to please everyone. I personally would like Pi Qua style, but again there's too much variety for the Devs to cover.
I'd love for some Organic and Energy Construct weapon models that aren't unlockables.
Oh, and I'd also love for Claws to have access to the forearm/hand Spines/Thorns graphics. Just remove everything beyond the elbow and add the extended Spine/Thorn onto that. -
This game may need a bit more than a spit polish, but it's certainly not horribly outdated (aside from the animation system). An overhauled/updated lighting system could do wonders for the game's graphics IMO. Well that and fingers.

I kinda like the idea I read before about making snipes incredibly thin long range cones. Though Sam's idea works too.

Quote:That makes too much sense.Keeping things unique is a terrible buisness model too. Giving people something to base a new character around leads directly to people making a new character, which leads directly to them sticking around to level that guy up. We should be beset with a torrent of extraneous options such as these. It's good buisness.
-
I know, I'm just venting because to me making a costume piece an unlockable is the same as not making it available. You know what, screw putting these in we need a wider variety of concept weapon models available at level 1. Let's get some energy, organic, and overly-stylized weaponry in there.
-
I'd like to add a condition to making these available to players: no ******* unlockables!
-
Soooooooooo......
Buff SS? -
Eh, I love the new SS animations, but the new MA animations don't work for me since they aren't Martial Art punches.

It pisses me off that Snow Storm and Freezing Rain in Storm Summoning are forced to use the Ice palette.
