I guess I could put one in on Defiant if it sets up. I'm generally fairly antisocial once you get to know me... I mean social or something

Done a few all scrapper TFs, turns out scrappers can be the team. As much as I love my defenders, and I do, truly and uniquely, all scrapper teams are a great laugh.
If nothing else some of my scrappers make the tank pay attention as he/she has to work to keep agro off me and look busy -
I started with Tyrant, fought him on the throne with my DM/SR, was a good first fight cause he's not the easiest I've fought and not the hardest either. I think if I'd started easy it would have been a shock later

Cant say I have end problems at all on my Fire/Shield and I dont have Body Mastery
I do have body mastery on my Spines/Inv though which is my normal farmer but less of an allrounder than the fire/shield. Though its fun on the ITF, it can fight romans forever and a day -
My first scrapper to trick out was my DM/SR cause it was my first 50 and I figured I owed the guy. Haven't regretted it.
With my other characters when I had a few a 50 at once and needed to decide where to invest (haven't touched all 30 odd of them but have a few IOd up) I went with who was fun first and then who would pay back the inf spend first.
My Spine/Inv cost a lot at the time but made back the inf before I'd slotted the last IO. My Fire/Shield is about half way there and is my most recently slotted. Other than these two only my Rad/Rad defender has probably come close to repaying the cost I spent on it thanks to regular STF runs. I dont know if any of your alts bore you, but my DM/Regen is only 50 cause it was messing up the look of my character page and had been in the 30s since I4. It doesn't have anything other than the SOs I bought at 47 and that I picked up on the way to 50 after it.
A biased view would be go for the DM/SR. I love mine but I don't play it so much these days cause I have others that are more efficient on teams. SR's fairly cheap to soft cap too so would possibly let you look at your second earlier -
Quote:Pools doWell each attack has a 5% chance to do a Crititcal Strike on a minion and on a LT or higher it as a 10% chance. Some attack have a better chance(10% and 15%) and will say it if it does. All of your primary power sets have a chance for a crititcal strike as do the Epics. I don't know if power pools do, and I know secondary don't.
Now each time you get a Crititacl Strike it will pop up, just like Assassin's Strike does, saying Critical Strike. -
Love teaming with my Claw/Inv scrapper and its pretty damned fine solo too. Have 4 of my scrappers that I still play at 50 and that's Claw/Inv, DM/SR, Spine/Inv and Fire/Shield.
The spine/Inv always feels like showing off though. -
My DM/SR has no hasten and has solo'd both, not as quick and easy as my Fire/SD (with hasten) but it has done it. Also solo'd both on a Claw/Inv without hasten too, but only S&L AVs

Grats on your second new addition

Ice tanks will have the edge on Brutes in agro terms I would think but then we're back to specific situations
-
Thunderstrike in Dark Blast is fairly essential for my build, but then could have that with any epic.
I guess the benefit of Dark is you can use -tohit and Imob IOs too if you're just muling -
Quote:Can't I keep filling the grave yard with the victims of my scrappers?(sigh)
We'll leave aside fire brutes and the "Holy crap" damage levels for the nonce.
Care to address the fact that brutes do 3 percent more damage (average) and yet still have significantly more hitpoints and much higher defense caps?
Shouldn't they do significantly less damage than scrappers(but more than tankers) in order to fit properly?
Also, what's the word on gloom for scraps? Or that Castle is making scrapper criticals boost DOT's for fire melee?
Or are people gonna keep whistling past the graveyard? -
Have Torrent, Gloom and TT on my DM/SR. I use TT to stack with MG to imob things, Torrent very rarely and Gloom quite often cause its fairly nice. Nightfall wasn't an option when I picked it up but I wouldn't have room anyway

Last time I went back to Wales to visit family I met my uncle's neighbour Evan Evans........

To the OP I love my claw/Inv, only a couple of foes to cap def, high resistance to S&L and dull pain when I need it. Claws works nice with the aura to gather foes before the stacked FU'd Spin and I generally only have to think about my primary rather than any survivability. I also love my DM/SR and think Claw/SR would work out fairly nicely but have 3 claws now so will be a gap before I play another, SR is always tempting
-
BS/SR was a walk in the park post 36 for me, and I wasn't capped at that point. I dont play it now it's 50, tricked it out in the late 40s, turned 50, stuck in some IOs and left it. But its a fairly safe combo later game with good bust damage

Quote:Am still always surprised when Tanks want to play fetch over a distance rather than just gather up as they go. A good tank should play for having a brute on the teamSorry, should expand on that. No brute is going to enjoy a tank on a gr team running off to herd like you can still get blue side The Herding to Here on every single spawn type.
A brute would much prefer to do as you say, take the alpha themselves to angry up the blood. -
I blanked out when someone said that scrappers can take a break........... that worries me, over 6 years and it turns out I could have taken a break....... not sure when, maybe in between missions while people were loading? Surely not while anything was still standing?

See the ref can only call it how he sees it from where he is. Am damned sure what ever decisions he made would have been disapproved of.

Well my Spine/Inv can solo the chrystals, not taken my claw/inv on it but am damned sure it could too and Claws are awesome fun
