After talking to NCSoft customer support they cant find anything. However, if they get a bunch of tickets with the same issue they may look further afield to see whats happening.

If players are having problems they should inform ncsoft. It helps ncsoft to know whats going on, if they cant fix it because its outside their reach i understand, but i still think its good for them to know

This is 100% true, and i'm the patron saint of rad blast! I think i would remember being able to have a rad blasting blaster before.

I agree, Getting my main "purpled" out was a long process. Really cool once I did it, but easily over 1 billion inf to get that build rocking.

Good things take time, you dont NEED purples. They are "end game stretch goal" type things.

As a guy who wrote a guide on Rad blast, I have to say I dont think it will rate that well as a blaster set. It's a good defender and corrupter set with it's variety of atacks, defence debuffs and ability to slot lots of procs.

I just think the raw numbers will not be good as a blaster set, it will be ok, but not great.

One of the advantages of my role is having lots of IT people as friends. They basically said "Its not at your end, it looks like something is playing up with a connection way down the line"

We did everything at my end that you could think of.

NCSoft support were pretty good, but they couldn't help which was a pity

I'm having fun with some new Dominators, the changes are enjoyable.

Glad to see people unshelving old Dominators or giving new ones a go. I think that was the point of the changes.

I have been talking to NCSoft customer support on this exact same issue for 2 weeks. They can't solve it, I cant solve it out, and network specialists from the New Zealand Defence Force cant solve it.

I have exactly the same symptoms. I'm further away so im getting 450 pings and a graph just like that on the east coast, which is basically unplayable. But stable and playable on the west coast.

I've rerolled a newish toon on Justice and may consider rerolling other low level toons if this doesn't improve.

I have 1300+ character levels on the East coast, so im hoping it sorts itself out.

If you do a tracert.exe and the third hop is all

Ping plotter is alos showing 100% packet loss at the 3rd hop.

Is that a pretty good indicator your connection issue is with my ISP?

If so, what should I tell them?

I'm dissapointed,

after reading the title I was expecting something to do with eating babies. Now all I see is some pretty rational arguments to improve a slightly uninspiring set.

I'm pretty sure there is always a small chance of being hit, 5% if i recall rightly.

Sarrate has a good point. /rad leaves you pretty free to constantly attack at the same time.

Personally, for a great corrupter for helping in AV teams sonic/rad must be pretty much king of the mountain.

/Rad only edges /Dark in AV fights and not by much. I feel much more in control with my /Dark corr than my /Rad corr in most other team PvE situations. I haven't tried a Rad/Dark yet but it's a strong contender for my next character. I am trying the Defender version now and even that is pretty sweet... but it's no corruptor.

Sorry zme but /rad doesn't edge /dark in AV fights, it beats it unconscious and goes through it pockets looking for money to spend on arcade machines.

/dark is universally more effective in 90% of fights. But in hard AV fights people will always be calling for the /rad. The number of LRSF tells i get is a damm good indicator of that.

The two toggles and being able to permanently have Lingering rad on the target are what makes the difference.

In m opinion /Dark is the superior set for most of the game. But against AVs /rad steps up. That's based on my play experience more than running any numbers.

Probably, for AOE not much redside beats a Fire/Kin or even a Fire/Dark Corrupter.

Lockdown - chance for +2 hold
neuronic Shutdown - chance for psi Damage
Ghost widows - Chance for psi damage
Ghost Widows - End/Hold
Essence of Curare - End/Hold
Unbreakable contraint - End/Hold

Gives me 84.51% to end redux and hold duration while having a chance of three procs going off. I rate it.
