I guess it must be noise, because that number in 31 bits + sign, converted to ASCII is just "ÙýÚ:"

Combat level is represented by a 32 bit signed integer. Huh.

Quote:Yes, mother.Enough with the TVtropes articles. We get it. We all go there from time to time. This is not a Yu-Gi-Oh card game where the best TVtropes articles used at the most opportune time wins. If you have an argument, make it. Stop relying on other people's articles to make it for you.
And that goes for everyone. -
I see slot machines and craps tables in the Golden Giza. I think they even have blackjack. But I've never seen poker. In fact, I've never even see any NPCs playing those games, much less the other players. I had no idea you could gamble for inf in this game. When did they add this in?
Quote:So its clear, the only issue I see is offering things for real money not available via the game. I thought it was addressed for everything except some costume unique's right? -
You know what's really funny is that all of the things asked here for improving Pocket D already exist for the myriad of virtual nightclubs that exist on Second Life...
...at least during the month I explored it... >.> -

I would have really wanted this, if they had updated the special effects and made it widescreen. What I saw in that preview? Eh.

Quote:They haven't milked it hardly enough.Haven't they milked work on the rig enough? Two non-combat pets (one only available via the Paragon lottery) and a transformation travel power.
Do you want them to add more content? Do you want them to improve the core engine? Would you like them to perhaps completely replace the engine with something more modern?
Of course you do! We all do! That kinda stuff won't happen without more money. A lot more. So pony up more of the Benjamins and show the devs some love. -
Quote:Immersion is somewhat subjective. It depends so much on your willing suspension of disbelief vs. the limitations of the medium. When I talk about immersion, I'm going by my own experience with the tip missions and alignment changes and what I've seen on the boards (incidentally, I don't think there's much yo-yo'ing, which suggests the current system works fine). Perhaps you consider that subjective, but calling it disingenuous and implying ulterior motives is just being provocative.
Which brings me to...
Quote:Trivial in perhaps more than one sense. Such switches have generally been received as unsatisfying by comics readers.

Quote:Obviously, this set should summon lions, tigers and bears. Why Lions? Or, rather, why Summon Wolves, then Lions, then....another Wolf? Why not, I dunno, a Bear? That seems the logical choice. Or even making it a choice, i.e. making wolves, lions and other clawed, bitey quadrupeds the tier 1, then something else as choices for the tier 2 and then tier 3?

Seems like these gods persist as long as there's some underground cult around that still worships them. Now see, if we'd built a hive-mind to link us all to the same mental network, we wouldn't have these little cults running around loose and ruining things for everyone else!

Well then why don't we just send in the Praetorian Hamidon after Mot? That would be epic.
But seriously, with all of these simultaneous alien, supernatural and extradimensional threats happening all the time, it's a wonder that the United States of the game's Primal Earth hasn't turned into a ruthless empire by now, that meets even potential threats with extremely powerful force.
I'm sure there has to be a few congress people and generals talking about how they have to get their hands on as much alien technology in order to reverse engineer it and... wait, this is starting to sound too much like Stargate SG-1. -
So is this pointing to what the "Coming Storm" is actually gonna be about? We think it's gonna be about an alien invasion, but really it's going to be about all the old gods waking up and roaming the earth and causing great havoc.
And the Rikti will be shaking their heads at us and be all like, "This is why we killed our gods a long time ago!" -
