Theres been 50 other threads about this same thing this week... check one of them.

this. please learn to use the search or at least go through at least the first couple of pages of threads before you post something.
[/ QUOTE ]
So, did you guys also go through the other 49 supposed threads on this topic and give them crap too? If a thread doesn't interest you, why respond to it? If it's a topic that's been beaten to death, and you bump it, aren't you part of the problem? -

Comeuppance, in PBAoE you forgot Obliteration, which gives 3% damage bonus and 5% recharge. It's a great set. Also, I'm fairly sure that Touch of Death had it's damage bonus increased from 2.5% to 3%.
[/ QUOTE ]
Good catch on the Obliteration set, I was bound to forget a couple. Hadn't heard about the TOD increase. -
Adding 40% damage to my Blaster through IO's has made a huge difference. I no longer have to pick off stragglers after I use Full Auto (with the exception of any Bosses which might be present.) Recharge is always a solid choice for any build.
Unfortunately, the sets that add damage aren't the sets that add recharge. The best I was able to acheive after adding in the damage was 30% from sets (100% including Hasten.) -
Take Assault and slot every power with a set that provides damage.
Melee- Pounding Slugfest (2%), Touch Of Death (2.5%), Mako's Bite (3%) & Gladiator's Strike (2.5%)
PBOA- Cleaving Blow (1%), Fury Of The Gladiator (2.5%)
Ranged- Tempest (2%), Devestation (3%), Apocalypse (4%)
AOE- Javelin Volley (2.5%)
Sniper- Extreme Measures (2%), Sting Of The Manticore (3%)
Defense- Red Fortune (2%)
Immobilize- Rooting Grasp (2%)
Hold- Gladiator's Net (2.5%)
End Mod- Efficacy Adaptor (2.5%), Performance Shifter (2.5%)
To Hit- Gaussian's Synchronized Fire-Control (2.5%)
To Hit Debuff- Dark Watcher's Despair (2%)
Defense Debuff- Touch Of Lady Grey (2%)
Accurate Defense Debuff- Analyze Weakness (3%)
I was able to add 40% damage to my Blaster by using Assault and a few of the above mentioned sets. -

Sorry about your loss. 40 is too young.
A few things I do to try to keep in shape while gaming:
While waiting in game lobbies or waiting for everyone to group up for missions, etc. :
- Get on the ground and do as many pushups as you can in 2 minutes. If you do that everytime you wait for gaming to resume, you might end up doing 200 pushups in a gaming session.
- Stand up out of your chair and do some basic stretches, toe touches, pull your arms behind your back, calf stretches, etc.
- Stand up and do some squats with no weight. Just up and down 15-20 times and sit back down to game. You will be surprised at how sore this will make you the first few days.
- Or just go buy some 20-50lb dumbells from your local second hand sports store. They will be cheap and you can do a variety of exercises from your desk/gaming area while you are idle.
All of these things are small steps, but will help keep you in a little bit better shape than you would've been just sitting there.
P.S. Skip the soda, buy some Vitamin Water instead. Tastes good, less calories per serving and packed full of vitamins.

Lordy, stay AWAY from vitamin water. That stuff is one of the biggest scams going atm. When you add in all of the undesireable ingredients used in almost every brand of vitamin water, you're almost better off drinking soda. I kid you not.

Just wanted to point out that the new PVP AOE sets provide 2.5% damage per set. Last I checked, they weren't much more expensive than the Positron's Blast sets. The damage wasn't as nice when fully slotted, but if you have 6 slots per AOE power, you can throw in an extra damage enhancement.
With Assault, I added 40% damage to my AR/EM. I notice quite a difference when I use Full Auto. -
If you're not going to play, why do you care? Go cry about something you're actually involved in.

I have 3 End Mods & 3 Cytoskeleton Exposures in mine.
56% To Hit
99% End
95% End discount
[/ QUOTE ]
Um the recovery buff in nova form is 15%, the end use is .26 and the to hit buff is 9%. So for that 5 extra slots in the form you get about 5% to hit, and gain about .7 end total.
Not very much return for five slots invested.
[/ QUOTE ]
I know it's overkill, but Nova is my primary form as it's at 48% ranged defense. I only switch to human form for Hasten & heals. I have thought about slapping some procs in there, just haven't gotten around to it. -

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Nexus is the name of an actual comic character.

My Arch/MM. With Hover and 45% ranged defense, he's my go-to guy for TF's & AV's.

Do MA critters count towards unlockable weapons? For example: If I created a Redcap mission, could I use it to unlock the Redcap daggers?

Um... */Devices is for Nub Cakes..... Who stand around lol PVP zones waiting to stalkers.
Sonic/em is still good in i14. If you don't want to roll /em then roll /mental or /elec .
Also don't get pff like a some queeerosexualz are doing now adayz. Pff sucks in i13 and even more in i14. Take ice epic. I have a few builds with Hoarfrost, which can give you a good HP boost and a Heal you can use like once or twice a match. If your on a team with buffer you can use it 4 - 5 times a match, which is much better then aid self.

Nub cakes & queerosexualz, eh? What are you, five? -
Don't start and end every sentence with "lol".

Lordy, it amazes me that so many folks are complaining about the 10 bucks after all the new content. If it bums you out, don't buy it. I play this game a LOT & don't mind shelling out a few bucks here and there to support it.
