max damage for AR/EM
I made a few changes.
Slotted a Karma: Knock back protection and a Luck of the Gamblerefense/Increased Recharge enhancements into combat jumping.
Slotted Blessing of the Zephyr:Travel/End and Knock back protection into super jump and gave you a little ranged defense.
Slotted Numina's Convalescence: Heal and Regenerative Tissue into health to give you more regeneration.
Three slotted Conserve power for recharge although you probably won't need to do that as it's over kill.
Six slotted Personal Force Field with 5 Red Fortune and a Luck of the Gambler: Defense/Increased Recharge for more defense and recharge and a small damage bonus.
Four slotted Temporary Invulnerability with Aegis: Resistance/Endurance and Resistance and Stead Fast Protection: Resistance/Endurance and Knock back protection for a small recovery bonus.
Six slotted Force of Nature with 5 Impervious Skin for more recharge and a Titanium Coating: Resistance/Recharge.

you could svae a chunk of change and just put Posi's in Full Auto and Devastation's in Slug. If you did, then i'd put the Kismet back in..

Is it just me? I always thought building with max damage set bonus in mind is kinda a waste on a blaster. I mean, if you set up your display to show you the damage boost you get from defiance it quickly outshadows anything you'd accomplish with set bonuses. I'd think building for global recharge, so that you can keep firing, keep firing, keep firing, and let defiance take care of the damage boost. It gets massive really fast on an AR/EM. Heck, it gets massive on any blaster that keeps shooting.

The only problem with your theory is that the only things that can take a continues full on assault for more then a few seconds is a AV or GM. Anything els will be defeated in just a few attack and there for not building much defiance at all. So my plan is to hit them with as much damage as possible from the beginning and what every defiance i build in the short time is a bonus.

Just wanted to point out that the new PVP AOE sets provide 2.5% damage per set. Last I checked, they weren't much more expensive than the Positron's Blast sets. The damage wasn't as nice when fully slotted, but if you have 6 slots per AOE power, you can throw in an extra damage enhancement.
With Assault, I added 40% damage to my AR/EM. I notice quite a difference when I use Full Auto.

Not to mention that tricking out your build with a full set of each purple set you can fit in the build gives you something that you'll be building toward for an unpleasantly long time, and the set bonuses you're planning on won't materialize until after you've spent hundreds of millions of influence buying recipes. Seems kind of silly to be planning around a build you won't have for 99% of your playing time.

anyone have some ideas on what some good sets or for my blaster to maximize as much damage as possible. my maid goal is to get max damage and recharge but my main focus is damage. here is my current build and i know some of you guys can make this better or at least give me some ideas to make it better.
