i agree with the end issues...i sunk a boat load of recov bonus's in my fire tank and i have more recov then wp tanks so i was actually able to drop consume from it all together.

fires single target is fine,,

i use gfs,incinerate,sands and black wand....vet powers ftw.

early tanking is tough without slots and its hard on end

but like g said later on the high end is cake walk... but thats why i like tanks

my def and blasters cant take it as easy..my tank runs through it all.

no blasters arent best for farming..

fire/kins are.

build one fire.kin with a buncha recharge and youll have more money then you can shake a stick at

plant is..ok but for the best farmer its a fire/kin for trollers

fire/fire tanks can still farm too..and i would know :P

If you don't want to take the shields, then don't take thermal or just solo or pick a non-buffing AT. Roll an /emp if you just want to heal.

Truth is everything in thermal is good and worthy of taking. Only power I would think skipping as an option is the rez (or put off til 49 like I did) given that with inspiration combining rezz's aren't near as important as they used to be. They are helpful on high level TFs and raids, thus why I took it at 49. Thermal builds are tight, but that's because they are so good.

ss or em?...i believe ss will fit you well

also invul is great now with the buff to it a while back..

cant go wrong with a invul/ss...i have one an hes on of fun.

you could also try a wp/ss as well... the combo is awesome for brutes as well and if you want a scranker type..then try that.
