  1. Figures that right after I post that a bug is discovered. That's how it goes I guess.

Doublehit should be working right as far as I know, but the stacks from Core aren't being calculated correctly.

    I posted a workaround here.
  2. FWIW the new Mids build published today also does doublehit calculations when you have Radial toggled on. The total damage shown should take both the doublehit and the (I23-style) PPM rate for the power into consideration.

Somehow I doubt it, since we were told that's very intentional behavior.

I'm sorely tempted to make a "Remember me dammit, CoH Boards!" firefox addon.

That's what I mean... It shows up at the bottom below the inherents, but when hovering over it there's no slider in the UI.

EDIT: Now Assault core is showing it. I swear a minute ago it wan't.

Oh... duh. Apparently if you haven't picked the first power from your primary yet it doesn't show the slider. Shouldn't be an issue in a real build.

To the OP: Make sure it's toggled on with the little green dot, too.
  6. Err, none of the Hybrid powers are showing sliders for me. Assault Core doesn't have it for number of stacks either.

Is this some sort of side effect from the aforementioned bug, a different bug entirely, or is there a timing aspect to the Lights/level shifts that we're not aware of?
    The former.

The level shift reapplies every second. Due to the 16 target max, who gets it will change as players / pets move around, depending on their proximity to the invisible object that controls it (spherical powers start from the origin point and spiral outward until they hit max targets).

Totally different mechanic. Untouchable status does not prevent you from hitting things, and never has. Master Illusionists do it all the time. So does Phantom Army.

Agreed; Stark engineered the entire situation. He knew was dying, and that it was accelerating rapidly. He didn't know how much time he might have left, and with him out of the picture, the shaky "world peace at gunpoint" he had managed to arrange would fall apart. However, after the scene he made at the hearing, his pride wouldn't let him just hand over the suit. So the only option was that Rhodey would have to "take" it. And he had to make a show out of trying to stop him (and failing because he was drunk), or nobody would buy it.

Of course Fury saw right through that. No way in hell someone other than Stark can just put on an Iron Man suit and fly it out of there, not without some major reprogramming. Rhodey must have been on the authorized list of users.

I think it may just be the zipper giving the illusion of depth where there is none, if that helps your mental image anyway. It's kind of hard to tell, though.

Now THAT opinion I can respect.

It's the whole "over-sexualized" and "T&A" comments -- and comparisons to Swan of all things -- from a few people that simply make no sense to me.

Edit: IIRC doesn't the whole "painted on" spandex from comic books stem more from wanting to draw them cheaply and quickly than from wanting to appeal to male audiences? I seem to remember some of the first references to it being about how many artists have studied figure drawing and can practically do it in their sleep. I think a few even traced nudes and literally painted the costumes on.

How can you even mention those two in the same sentence?

I don't see why people are getting so worked up about a costume that covers 90% of the wearer's skin. You see more revealing outfits walking through a mall. Are they offended that she's female?

The pose isn't even really all that sexy, more just awkward.

  15. Makes sense, but they also removed him from several missions that happened in the "past", so I wasn't sure if they'd leave the Echo alone or not.

Looks like it does indeed still summon Echo of Statesman. Might have to drop a reward token or a few points just to be able to bring him out at parties. Too bad MM commands don't work... <em dance>!

Hmm, hadn't thought to check since I never use them, but does this still summon Statesman for the tanker one?
  17. Except ultimately wrong, since Flow Lightning does unresistible Energy damage, not Special. EoEs resist Special, Ambrosia resists Unique1. There are other exotic damage types besides those as well, but Tyrant doesn't need them ... you just plain can't resist it.

    Demorecord suggests:

    (-4859, 46, 19751)

That's east and a bit south of the center of the circle of lights of the well. It almost forms a right triangle with the easternmost and southeastern light.

For reference, Tyrant starts out on the southwest edge of the circle (if I remember how the coordinate system works).

I'm not sure how that works out with the geometry of the crater -- it's a little hectic in that phase to be playing around with /loc.
  19. He probably just made new ones. He did have a holographic schematic of the Mark I that he started out with (presumably made from memory), and a fully automated assembly line.

Mostly. Avatar of Hamidon, The Sentinel of Mot, Diabolique, and Mother Mayhem (incl Penelope Mayhem and Shalice Tilman) get twice as much HP per player than Tyrant and the others. They're starting from the same base, so they don't literally have 2x the HP, but they do have more.

They also have a minimum scaling for 12 players rather than 8, which strikes me as a little odd as Magisterium is a 12-24 trial (but BAF is also and has the same scaling as Mag). Maybe it's because he's +5 and has high resists, though.

It's a spherical AoE, so it will pick the 16 closest targets to wherever the invisible object that does the buffing is.

They've already said in the beta forums (+REP to whoever takes the time to dig up a link) that they plan to add solo content that gives AIXP, presumably with more difficult story arcs that require you to basically be +3 rather than curbstomping level 50 enemies.

I suspect the trend will be new shinies introduced in a trial, followed by solo/small team arcs to unlock them an issue or two later. That's more or less what happened with DA.

I just don't have the time usually and definitely not at once to sit thru the trials. Tis a shame as the toon (a night widow) has been a blast for the incarnate stuff. What difficulty are you set to? In DA I've found that running at +0x8 (or even -1x8 if necessary) unlocks the slots much quicker than running at a higher level setting with less enemies. That and taking the time to clear the maps (<3 the "trap" ambushes in Max's finale) unlocked them relatively quickly for me.
  23. It also depends on how many damage buffs you have and how close to the cap you are. +DMG naturally diminishes in value somewhat the more of it you already have.

(don't forget to include the ~95% from enhancements unless you're using totally unenhanced powers!)

Huh? I teleport around (through) corners all the time. It's all about the camera angle.
