I guess I should have explained better.

Max endurance would be equal to the current cost of the power, which is 18 IIRC. IT would be NO different than how much endurance you use now.

I hope that clears it up.

EDIT: I've played Dark Armor for a loooooong time. My first 50 was a Elm/DA Brute back in 2007. Most of my experience was before IOs and the dismissive attitude they brought to any balance argument. Using DR against 1 target is a waste of endurance and should be scaled (IMO of course).

    To summarize:

1 target hit, 33% of current end cost of DR or 6 endurance
    2 targets hit, 12 endurance
    3+ targets hit, 18 endurance

Lastly, there are a handful of changes I promoted over the years but once IOs came I dropped a couple.* One that I still think needs review is the additional of a tohit debuff in Death Shroud. Thsi fits thematically with the set and also would explain why DS' damage is lower compared to other damage auras that do not carry a secondary effect.

*The main one I dropped was changing Soul Transfer into a new power similar to Eclipse but that was more of a dream since it broke the 'cottage rule.'
  2. DR should have it's endurance set to scale based on targets hit.

    1-2 Target hit - 33% end cost
    3 Targets hit - 66% end cost
    4+ Targets hit - 100% end cost

That would be my suggestion (and has been FOOOOOREEEVVVVERRRRR)

Perhaps he is proud of his son for taking a path less traveled and having something to believe in.

There are worse things for a son to become.
  4. This thread needs more pics and more people responding to the OP like they are original.

Geez EG, that's a pretty ugly thing to say but par for the course for you.

I have a NRG/NRG Blsater and a Fire/Fire Blaster (both 50+1). They play radically different but I'm guessing you wouldn't know this assuming, based on your hate for KB, that you have never played a NRG/ Blaster for any serious amount of time.

By the way, there are a couple procs worth slotting in NRG's ST blasts that really help make the set that much more effective in ST damage. Sure, it probably won't beat out Fire Blast but it's still a very fun set to play. I'm sorry you feel otherwise.
  8. KB is one of the few effects in this game that actually make you feel very powerful. I love KB in the hands of my Blasters and I get great laughs from taking my 50 +1 NRG/NRG Blaster to Atlas and Power Thursting SKuls a mile away.

KB can be a hinderance to a team if used inappropriately. But that's no different than an idiot scrapper, blaster, etc aggroing a 2nd or even 3rd mob.
  9. My wife and I watched it last night and really enjoyed it so far. She's a big Disney fan and I just like stories such as these. Seems like it could be a fun show.

Be a man. Don't be passive aggressive. I don;t know what exploit this fixed, I haven't been ingame since Monday (monday I played a total of 2 hours, weeeeee).

I'm upset because I have spend my time in game possibly running characters through the alignment system AGAIN when they have already done it previously.

I asked for clarification on this from a redname but I haven't seen an update. I don't want to re-run 11 missions.

If you turn on OG to stun them, OG will hit its target cap of ten targets. At high accuracy, they will be the ten closest targets to you most of the time. If you also turn of CoF, if CoF had the same accuracy it would also tend to hit the same targets, more or less. But at lower accuracy CoF tends to miss many of the first targets it sees.

This is important, because the target cap enforced on all AoEs is number of targets *hit* not number of targets rolled against. So if CoF misses a few, it will keep looking for targets until it finds ten, or runs out of targets in range. The difference in accuracy tends to cause the two auras to hit a somewhat different set of targets (with some overlap) if both auras are on, which can have some benefit in high density environments.

The deficits to players only running one at a time outweigh this situational advantage, but it is there: I've exploited this mechanical difference myself on occasion.
I understand what you are saying but I find it hard to believe given how easily it is to slot for ACC with Set IO and obtain accuracy bonuses. Are we assuming SOs or Common IOs only? What type of accuracy slotting in CoF? OG?

I asked for clarification once ya know. You stated this wasn't a bug.

If you want to be helpful, then be helpful. I grow tired of crypitc games.

Absolutely. I always man up to being wrong. I really hope I'm wrong here and that I'm not forced to redo the alignment system on the characters that had already completed it previously.

You assume which makes you wrong.

The characters in quesiton are heroes/villains and they have been through the Alignment system to be a hero or villain. Now, I have to redo that process across those characters in order to obtain the same reward I was getting before this fix.

It's a big inconvenience for people with limited play time man.

Ya, I know that. I have to run at least 121 missions to get just 11 of my characters back to the way they were PRIOR to this 'fix.' That is, able to earn Hero/Villain Merits from the SSA.

No. I want to not be inconvenience by the developers and be forced to run 11 missions per character in order to receive a reward that I was able to receive prior to their exploit fix.

I'm not delusional to think I'll get any type of response from a redname, let alone any fix. But I'm going to complain about being inconvenienced yet again.

I have a hard time expressing how deeply annoyed I am at this, exploit or no. I don't typically run Tip missions on my characters but I do run the SSAs. Now I am required to spend all of my ingame time to run these tip missions.

    Very frustrating.

Why again are we bashing on Shubbie? Seems like this is a legitimate gripe.

    Who cares.

If I have to run 10 missions per character, then I'm going to be annoyed. I rarely have that time per week let alone per character.

Someone please clarify. I'd like to know before I waste any of my time.
  19. Wait.

So I have to run 10 missions now on every character I have if I want them to be able to obtain a Hero or Villain Merit when I run the SSAs?
  20. The only changes I ever wanted for DA is to have Dark Regen's endurance usage applied based on it's healing. If you hit 1 target, then end consumed is for one target. 2 Targets, etc. And have Dark Shroud apply a tohit debuff.

But this was before IOs made endurance management a non-issue. Also before IOs, I wanted Soul Transfer removed for an Eclipse clone. Again, IOs made this a non-issue.

  22. Ya, this happens to me quite often since I'm one of the first to spawn after the Trial starts.

Most recent it happened on my SS/Ela/Mu Brute...the one made for AoE carnage. I was beyond annoyed on that character (+1 level). However, on other characters that were native 50 (no alpha slotted yet) and were a bit squishy I did not mind sitting out most of the time. It also give the ability to see the trial and gain a better understanding. It's a Gift and a Curse really.

Yep, that is one of the non-canon stories for Darth Maul.
  24. I think people are jumping to conclusions here.

There is no evidence he survived. All we know is he returns. This could mean a number of things. Does he get resurrected? Does his spirit get brought back? Etc etc.

Personally, I'm leaning towards the Nightsisters doing a seance of some sort and attempt to bring his spirit back for a new host body.
