Yep. I think it checks something like every 10 seconds or so. This is why my Warshade is getting a Gaussian's Synchronized Fire Control: Chance for Build Up in her Dark Nova form. Granted, that's a toggle, but it works just like an auto power would. As long as it is on the proc has a chance of going off every 10 or whatever seconds.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    ...I need to try that.

    Funny AFK

I actually had to leave mid-mission once because my dad informed me that it had snowed about three feet the previous night, and if I wanted to go anywhere in the next week I had better get started on shoveling my car out of the snow. The previous day, there wasn't that much snow - maybe halfway up the tire, not a big deal in Michigan. When I went outside, the snow was halfway up the WINDOWS...

On the plus side I was soloing, so it wasn't really a big deal.

Since I'm in a good mood, rather than debate "No to Botting!", I would agree to allowing up to Two Auto-firing powers, so long as niether of them require a target. Hasten + Practiced Brawler, yes. Practiced Brawler + Rage, okay.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's 100% not fair to SS/WP brutes who use hasten! How am I supposed to keep Rage, Hasten, AND Strength of Will active if I can only auto two powers?!

And I think it's only fair that we get FOUR choices, so I can put footstomp on auto, too. After all, it doesn't require a target. Unless you expect me to CLICK my powers when they're recharged?! That would be ridiculous! I shouldn't have to click powers I want to use as soon as they recharge...
  4. Whether it's random or not really isn't the point.

Although sometimes if you haven't looked at a thread, it will still mark early posts as "read" and plop you somewhere down the page the first time you click on it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

If it marks the thread as read before you read it and doesn't drop you at the top of the page when you click on the thread, then someone's added a post since you last refreshed the post list. I assure you, though, it's not random.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Although it can still be annoying.
  6. [ QUOTE ]
Um, you can do that here. You see those little page numbers that appear below a thread topic? Yeah, if you click the little 1, guess what happens? You get the first page of the thread.:

    [/ QUOTE ]

    ...Which doesn't help when it's a one-page thread.

    [ QUOTE ]

On the current BB, it doesn't take you to a random post in the thread, it takes you to the first unread post in the thread since you last accessed that thread.

  7. Well thanks for the advices. What I'm gonna do is stock up a bit and list some stuff for high prices, and also place some low bids over the next week. Hopefully by the end of double XP I'll have made a profit and gotten cheap recipes I can then sell for MORE profit.
  8. I can't figure out if,
    A) Stuff is cheaper because more people are simply dumping off their drops;
    B) Stuff is more expensive because more people are bidding; or
    C) Some kind of confusing mixture...

But I'm kind of thinking stuff will be cheaper right after Double XP, right? I don't know if I should buy stuff cheap, and wait for the prices to "normalize" to sell it off, or buy stuff at regular price now to sell for high prices during Double XP...or can I do both?
  9. Hero investigations are VERY violent.

    My Post Count...

w00t this topic's rating went up one star when I rated it
  11. This is actually a pretty good idea. What they should do is add an option for arcs to be set as "farm maps," which when completed, will automatically reset.

Then, they just have to ban people who use this option. It's flawless.
  12. Yeah, screw the people who enjoy AE arcs and don't want to have to play something else to benefit from double XP.

After all, if I'm soloing AE arcs all weekend how are you going to find a team?! It's just not fair to you at all.
  13. [ QUOTE ]
this kind of change could ultimately fix many negative aspects of AE.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Negative aspects? I thought you said there was nothing wrong with it?

    ...

It's likely that someone has noticed, otherwise how would you be posting about it?
  15. It depends on if we're going to be allowed to change the colors on individual powers, and not just entire sets. As in, if I could make Blazing Bolt white, Blaze dark red, Hot Feet bright blue, etc.

If we'll be able to modify each power separately, I would make my fire blaster more colorful, with a mix of reds, oranges, yellows, whites, and blues.

...And I would make Rise of the Phoenix's fire black.

    Go roll a Wow.

    ...What does that even mean?
  17. But then you don't get to see it shoot fire, and what's the fun in that?
  18. [ QUOTE ]
If you solicit an invite by setting your LFT flag to "Looking for..." then it's not a blind invite.

    [/ QUOTE ]

No, it's still a blind invite...because you have no idea what kind of team/person it's coming from.
  19. I just really hate when people advertise a team around a certain level, and then invite lots of people who are just way too low to fight enemies of that level, or invite people at/slightly above the advertised level and fight enemies that are -1 or more to that level.

I once ended up on a team with a level 46, and a bunch of 41s, fighting 47s and 48s...against CoT, so my chance to hit the +6s was even lower from ToHit debuffs. It was incredibly obnoxious.
  20. There was a video from HeroCon, I believe, when a developer asked how many 50's people had, and some guy said 45. A lot of them had over 30.
  21. They should give all hostages the peon's "Stop poking meeeeee!" phrase from Warcraft, and make it get louder the closer you are to the hostage.
  22. o,O I have a broadsword/shield with the same concept. The shields add a nice extra bit of customization.

It's a fun concept, I use a different costume based on the "type" of enemy group I'm fighting.
  23. Perhaps the devs consider the -recovery from Blizzard to be the energy required for you to keep it going, therefore if you're defeated you can no longer keep it going.

Just an update, got the psi/mental to 33 in 1 day and loaded it with IO's. Went to sirens and the damage is crappy. I wouldnt advise anyone making a set like this.
I was shocked how low the damage is for a blaster using this set, its complete garbage.

    All attacks had 2acc/3dam

    [/ QUOTE ]

Didn't they pretty much nerf the set (at least PvP wise) because of how rare psychic resist/defense is, which would have made it "too strong" for PvP?

...Also, I totally read the title as "Sonic/Mental" and thought you were making a build based on the sirens that lead sailors to their doom.
  25. But, but, but, but, but...I logged on and said "Looking for TF!" and didn't get an invite in 3 seconds so no one is doing TFs! Ever!

You must be doing them with your circle of friends. omg so greedy and selfish of you and your friends to hog all the TFing. For shame. Kirby is disappointed at you <(v_v)>
