I get that about every other or every third issue (been here since about i6 I think it was... *puffs on pipe and gazes meditatively into the distance for a spell...*)
My current problem right now is that I have seem to have started abandoning toons somewhere past the 35th level, my last-created four toons are about 44, 47, 37, 39 and 35. Part of this is due to indecision about which Patron to go with (almost always playing redside). One of those I have chosen direction for - even have her power choices, slots and IOs chosen - but I can't seem to get the oomph in me to go get her to 40; I think that's my altitis at work, to be honest.
I also can't seem to muster up any drive to work on a new AE arc, knowing that since it's not a farm no one will play it unless I heavily invest myself spamming about it here on the forums, which seems like a waste of time.
In the long run I'll probably just stick to that one toon who's build I have planned out as that will be the path of least resistance. Or I might rot my brain watching cheesy sci-fi from the 70s and before and not play for a bit. I always come back.... -
I would think binds might be better for this than macros, unless you don't mind having open a whole nuther tray for those buttons. I still just click each player's name. Then again I hadn't played my Kin in like two years and only just recently restarted to; doing so for the whole run to fifty could get old, unless you're leveling in AE, which would be about, what, a day?

Quote:I'm guessing this will also require re-editing the arc to assign the "new" group in the various spots, but that's great advice that I should have thought of myself, thanks.Go into the My Enemy Groups tab, click Edit on the group you want to rename, click Save As and give it the name you want to have. Then delete the old group.

/signed, first I've heard about it. The change to email too sounds pretty useful. Much as I generally hate having the star due to ADD players who can't wait a minute for me to find other people, this should make it easier to give it a go again. (besides, my AR/Kin needs his Patron arc done!)

One of my arcs has a custom group I pieced together from a bunch of standard foes and I gave it a throw-away name, forgetting that it will show beneath their names. Is there any way to rename the group or will I just have to rebuild it from scratch? I took a look around with the editor but...

Playing my AR/Kin Corruptor I am sometimes guilty of forgetting about my teammates when it comes to SB because I am hypnotized by the muzzle flash of my rifle. :3 This may be happening to some players as well, depending on primary.

I kind of think the annoyance and possible "stupid death ahead for my pet" factor of the brawl and rushing into melee range was a planned thing on the dev's part. MMs are so freakin' awesome, there had to be at least something to hinder our rampages. It may be called "balance".

In my latest I'll-probably-never-finish-it arc, I wanted a lot of my particular glowies around for decoration and as a good way to droop clues so I have them set up in a series, something like "Glowie 1", "Glowie 2", etc. I think I settled on five of them. I then made them all nonrequired and dropped some text in them [like so] to explain they were nonrequired and to read them in order of 1 to 5.

Quote:Hm! I hadn't considered it from that angle, good point. In that case...I would assume the OP means actual arcs that the author spent time and effort on, rather than only arcs that are serious in tone. Why spend more time on a poster than it took to create the arc it advertises?
Arc Name: Too Many Bunnygirls!
Arc ID: 101165
"The number of bunnygirl missions is getting out of hand, time to do something about that. Now's your chance to end the scourge of bunnygirls forever!" (this is comedy, obviously, and yes I put in a LOT of time on it, I took my comedy seriously)
Plot Outline: an evil scientist is turning people into bunnygirls and must be stopped. She's also running a notorious super-celebrity tabloid newspaper (think "Positron's Circle of Thorns Love child!"), both of which plot lines tie in together. Oh, and lots of rabbit-based puns.
Not to hamper your creativity but I was considering something along the lines of the CoV load screen that has Arachnos minions "bursting" out with Lord R behind them, but with bunnygirls for the minions and a silhouette for Lord R (of the evil scientist). Come to think of that, it could work pretty well. Come to think of that, it sounds like a real pain to do too. Maybe something with just a carrot, someone reading a newspaper with a tabloid-style headline (maybe the title of the arc right there in fact)... Anything's good, really. -
Ah, ok, gotcha. I guess my math-mind was out to lunch when I read this thread the first time. Sometimes numbers hard and confusing like melted cheese. :P
Thanks for taking the time to clear that up for me. -
The rating you list for one of my arcs seems a bit odd to me; the arc I mean is
3.5 stars (2 reviews) -- Too Many Bunnygirls! (#101165)
I can't off-hand recall who all's reviewed it, but I also can't recall getting any "just meh" reviews or downright "this is sooo stupid" reviews, so I'm wondering if maybe there was a review I never saw for it... I'm not saying it Shakespearean-level work of astounding genius or anything, just that I can't recall tepid or bad reviews. Then again maybe I'm just blocking out such painful memories...
That being the case, I'd like to second the idea of finding a way to list "who reviewed what". You know, if that's not such a problem. Thanks for all you've done so far, this is really cool.

In my experience, if you've taken Aid Other, you can skip Repair. Then again, my current MM is a Bots/Dark and the one before that was a Bots/Storm; they both have another heal.
-
Yeah, if this ever goes down on Freedom, put me on that list - easy money is eeeeasy and lost inf is nothing, really.
I had idly posted about someone doing something like this about 8 months back and was told the number of slots was way more important that having the inf on hand to start it up. But that was a "for profit" scheme, unlike this "for fun" one. -

When the update comes out that allows people to set their missions as if they were on an 8-mmeber team (i16 or Rogue, I can't recall which), teaming will probably go up some. Sure, some of those "padders" left out will be clueless AE babies, but they'll learn what's what after a bit. Or I could be wrong and things could get even worse.
Regardless, I know how OP feels, redside is tough, but I've been seeing this getting better, slowly. I'm on Freedom, Pinnacle and Virtue, my handle is the same as my forum name. Anyone can feel free to hit me up to see if I'm available. -
Better get Mako! There's nothing sillier than throwing fish at people.

We get a base teleporter after 24 months? o.o
(not that I've been in much of a position to use one...) -
They renamed a certain infamous emote as "drink tea" too.

And I dont want to know!
Feel free to leave me negative ratings based on this post! -
Quote:Thanks; I saw that but since it said nothing about the level groupings I didn't want to assume anything, you know?

I can never recall which level range various salvages such as Masterwork Weapon drops in. Has anyone put up a chart of that? I gave Paragon Wiki a look but did see anything.
