  1. So now the version you can get at real cash cost is inferior unless being used with Stamina.

Seriously, iit was just a bad idea to make the store enhancements play by different rules. They need to be a simple bought version of IOs, and IOs need to be level independent.
  2. The hilarious thing with a 'small audience' argument is that, like PVP, the audience is only so small because the implemented feature is so bad. Minecraft certainly is not a small audience.

No, it sounds like you would be calling BIGFOOT at claims of racial equality a century ago, or gravity a few centuries before that, or a round earth millenia before that, or even the presence of climate change now.

They got the bone you either accept it, claim some reason it actually is not feathers, or find a way to bring the evidence into question. What you did is try to plug your ears and chant NONONO.

The real problem with "mutant-themed content" is the X-Men style "mutant stigma". It is very, very difficult to write mutant content without going near some kind of racial prejudice and/or eugenics issues, and Marvel in general and Claremont in particular have poisoned that well for the next ten generations.
Mutant themed content can be mutant themed groups. How silly is it to have only the outcasts and sort of carnies representing an entire origin?

And one of these days I will get to play some ongoing M&M 3e.
Is that really a reason not to use its PNP though?

Sorcery however is explicit and so are demons. 'Sorcery' is supposed to work by explaining how you do the powers the game has now!

This is why I do not count Rularuu as magic content. But if you have a traditional religious or mythical or magical reference, like an angel, or voodoo, or etc., then it is not just a supernatural horror.

But just letting Magic-origin characters have the spotlight for once should not be a problem.
The amount of it far exceeds any other individual origin, especially villain content in which 3 of the patron pools are mystical, and each zone has a mystical monster living in it driving the story arcs. Mutant origin? 0 zones and not a lot of arcs of any kind. Sci and Tech TOGETHER get Peregrine Island, RWZ, a few more, and about as much general presence across zones as magic only. Depending how you want to interpret incarnates it gets a lot more than Sci and Tech.
  8. Just say no to the origin specific powersets!
  9. Oh my.

They made up for an awful first mastermind set!

I still want to slot them in non henchmen powers though.

It should not be a balance of them. Sci fi should be a lot MORE common because that is what can not only differentiate you from the WOW crowd, but is more appropriate to the comic book universes.

In addition, you have a list of both Sci Fi zones AND modern zones. A better distribution is to have an approximately equal representation of each ORIGIN, not one origin with almost as much as the others combined.
  11. ROB LIEFELD HAS ARRIVED AND CONQUERED

Upcoming costume editor preview is here

Seriously, while some like it you need variety, and this game has been on a dark age binge since about the GR release, with the exception of Sutter. I still point to the issue 17 villain arc as the example of what I would like from content. Plenty of choice, lots of variety not just of environments but 'weight,' and cheesy supervillain options like a clone army. The way to a big success, particularly during a recession, is escapist fare, not the tales of Brock Hardcheese the pocket monster, or comics tropes from an era of economic boom.

It may not be a price tag, but it was 6 months extra waiting to get what i paid for at the same time as my friends. Even had to wait a day extra for it to be released in the store, while all my friends were in Praetoria due to the early launch online.
I hated it when they got in the Reward Program, because they do say EXCLUSIVE on the box.
Yeah, I got them by an extra $10 at GameStop vs. competitors.

Why are OTHER excluives advertised as exclusives OK to give, but not those?
  13. So, basically.

The game is full of bad slotting possibilities. However, in my desire to slot the recharge intensive auras, a very intelligent slotting option, I am running into the slotting protection of both DS and henchmen.
  14. Short term yes but I expect the game population would be much higher now if PVP existed.
  15. But purples and the super booster ATOs include recharge anyway.

It should also take a regular attack SO technically but of course it would not be optimal slotting.
  17. Well as owner of a set of CoV collectors' I heartily endorse letting others buy them.
  18. Well I bought each of the other preorder exclusives and every single instance is now available other ways.
  19. It would not make a lot of sense to use a slot that way, but no other power in the game has such a rule by what is 'sensible' to slot. Not being able to use them is a glitch.

The primary reason I would want it is to slot the recharge intensive auras, though it would be gravy to also get a proper musculature enhancement.
  20. Yes, that is what I am trying to say. Perhaps whoever set up its slotting rules long ago simply did not know it has attacks.
