I'm fairly certain you'll be at around 78% s/l resist with tough and the ela toggles.

I took Dasbert's build, tweaked it here and there, and am currently using the following.
I didn't have all the purples that I needed for it, and didn't have the Miracle or Steadfast uniques on hand either, but it works like a charm without them....until I get some lucky ticket rolls/WW purchases.

I'd imagine that Trick Arrow would pair wonderfully with Gravity also. I just took an Illusion/TA to 50 over the dbl xp weekend, and I dearly LOVE LOVE LOVE how TA fills in a lot of gaps in the Illusion set.
I can only think it would help with Gravity's control gaps too. -
My newly minted fire/kin took Stone Mastery. Picked up Fissure, Seismic Smash and the ugly ugly ugly ugly ugly ugly but wonderful Stone Armor.
My fire/rad has Fireball/Fireshield and I'm seriously considering respec'ing her next issue into Stone.
Nothing like one shot holding a boss with Seismic Smash! -
I have a will power tank. It is fun to play, but even with taunt, lots of AoEs, and using gauntlet, WP has a very very very very very hard time holding aggro.
They just aren't as good as being main tank as most other tanks. If he was going over the aggro cap, that just makes WPs trouble holding aggro even worse.
You are better off leaving a team with someone that just doesn't understand the mechanics of tanking, especially if they get aggressive because you are trying to help them out. -
Pyromantic pretty much said it all in his post.
I kept entangle for AVs and more single target damage if I need it. It was very helpful while leveling up since I slotted it for damage.
Fly Trap is a very vanilla pet, but stays mostly out of the way and assists with building containment and a little damage here and there. You can slot an Achilles Heel Resist Debuff Proc in her I believe. -
Fire/Rad is pretty darned easy once you get your recovery under controls

I'm having a heck of a time finding binds that I can set up to buff my fire imps on my fire/thermal and flytrap on my plant/kin.
Any assistance or links are appreciated. -
Got her back in, but not before it dropped my fire/kin in Mercy Island for a couple of seconds! LOL

Same here. I tried to use Oro Portal in Talos on my fire troller. Boom! Locked up the game.
Now it says she's in Atlas Park, but can't log her in. Keep getting the NoMapServer Connection message after it times out. -

Any response to my previous question about Stone vs Fire armors?

I really love the stone epic, but I'm wondering if defense debuffs from slash/lethal attacks make it as good as fire's resist?
I've worked out templates for both stone and fire epics for my fire/kin. Both look great but I'm just a tad worried that the defense from Stone Armor will melt away with a few hits from debuffing attacks.
What experience have you stone armor guys found?

Argh! posted fire/thermal stuff in wrong thread!

Fire/Thermal can be a tough go, because you are really playing two Primaries, unlike 99.99% of the other heroes in the game.
It take a while to get the feel of when you should be controlling and when you should be buffing/healing/debuffing.
We had a big thread on this a couple of months ago with lots of builds and good advice.

Don't skip either of your single target shields. Remember, you'll want them both to buff your imps when you solo, not to mention how great they are for teammates. Also, with a little recharge, you can keep Forge up on all three imps easily. -
I am running my fully IO'd fire/rad with nearly perma hasten and no recovery uniques other than the Performance Shifter proc and don't have any end problems.
I find I don't need to run radiation infection very often, except on exceedingly hard targets or if I want to utilize the achilles resist proc I slotted in it.
My 'new' fire/kin is now 42 with no IOs but feels infinitely more fragile than my fire/rad did at the same level. Hot Feet without Choking Cloud makes me feel very vulnerable for one thing. I also have fighting pool on my fire/kin, but didn't find I needed it on my fire/rad.
Playing a fire/rad isn't even close to the frenetic experience of playing the clicky fire/kin. Although slightly slower defeating enemies, my fire/rad doesn't suffer from any downtime either.
I also feel that a fire/rad brings more to teams than a fire/kin with all the debuffs and AM.
They both get the job done well. Just depends if you want a little more speed while constantly clicking buttons, or a lot more safety with a more relaxed pace.
Oh, I almost forgot! Having rad's EM Pulse which is a huge radius long duration hold on top of cinders is a thing of beauty. That gives you two aoe holds in addition to all the other controls you get.

I always wished the 'detention' powers were toggles. would make them much more desirable.

I really wanted Aim, but just couldn't live without the pewpewpew of Proton Volley.
I've got the Numina's Unique in storage, and plugged it into Mids first thing when making the build. Not sure I'll use it, since I got her recovery so high. I'll put together her sets without it first, see how it goes and then I have it to slot if I think I'd want a little extra recovery.
Time to go shopping! -
My Rad/Rad Fender has one more level before I respec her and start slotting IOs.
Please tell me what you think of this perma hasten/perma AM build.
She is going to be a Recall/Vengance/Fallout/Rez team supporter. I'm not concerned with soloing on this gal at all, and if I eventually want to be able to do that, I can concoct a secondary build in the future.
