Other Farm Builds

Hi everyone i was wanting to make a toon worthwhile to farm with and was wondering what you opinions are.
I think we are all aware of the fire/kin, fire/rad controllers and the spines/fire scrappers that farm. So i don't need those.
Please toss in your thoughts about builds and how to make them worthwhile.

For example,
I'm thinking ice/kin controller and use the set bonuses to increase damage output and defense/damage resistance.

Or, my ice/ice blaster that i'll increase damage and recharge through set bonuses. In Mids i have the damage up to 110% and the recharge to 50%

What are your thoughts on these builds.
And other builds?

I'll ask the obvious... if this character is just for farming, why not make one of the admittedly common, but tried and true builds? I mean, like it or not, there's a reason they're so popular already, yanno?

Fulcrum should be putting you at the damage cap already so there is no need to get bonuses that boost damage with a Ice/kin. If you want a boost damage, you'll have to get it via damage procs. An Ice/ice blaster seems like a very odd pick to farm with. It's too ST based to really mow threw mobs. Fire/mental, or Archery/mental would work. For controllers, Fire/storm is still a good option.

I was thinking of this exact build a few minutes ago actually. You wouldn't happen to have a video or demo of that toon in action would you? Plant/Kin really intrigues me as a farmer and good AoE team toon.

My level 50 Ice / Storm / Fire just rips through mobs. Ice Slick, Freezing Rain, Lightning Storm, Glacier. Is one good way to wipe out a group or you can go Frostbite, Freezing Rain, Tornado, Lightning Storm and Thunder Clap can be tossed in just for extra measure if they keep trying to hit you while they are dropping like flies. I've tried Hurricane for the debuffs but if you don't get a nice hold with Frostbite you could break up the group when you really want them all in nice and close. I'm still using common I/O's for the most part. I only have a couple of sets started in my slots so I can only think it's going to get better as I slot them out. Lockdown in Block of Ice is already showing some promise with just a couple in there now.

What exactly are you planning on farming? I tend to go a bit strange here. if it's XP, then stick with a fire/kin. If you're interested in farming for drops, though... Try plant/storm.

1: Seeds of Confusion. No Containment, but it increases kill rate by quite a bit.
2: Carrion Creepers. Best. Power. Ever. The only way to make it better is to perma it, which is doable, if not exactly cheap..
3: Roots: Twice the damage of the other AoE immobilizes. Combined with Seeds, you shouldn't be taking much damage while you melt mobs. Also sets up -kb for storm powers.
4: Freezing rain. Buffing Creepers doesn't help as much as you'd like- they only last 15 seconds apiece. FR offers -resistance, -defense, and more control as an AoE knockdown. Even more fun with an Achilles' heel proc.
5: Snow Storm. You take it for the -fly, since Entangle only hits stuff on the ground. it's a lovely power, though
6: Tornado/Lightning storm. With foes safely immobilized, these become monstrous powers.
