My stab at a fire/kin
I strongly suggest copying dasbert's build posted on this page. He's done his homework and it's what I'm using with a couple of changes. I cleared about 150 million in 2 hours last night, so it's definitely quite the moneymaker.
You've got some pricy uniques slotted out that I simply don't think are necessary, specifically the end recovery uniques. Transference will come up every 8-9 seconds with hasten and triple stacked siphon (you should have 1 acc and at least 2 recharges slotted here) and that will be more endurance than you need.
I also would not be caught dead without seismic smash. At the damage cap it will do 620-630 damage to a single target under containment as well as applying a mag 4 hold. I'd suggest dropping inertial reduction, taking 3 slots out of rock armor and 6 slotting it. 4 kinetic combats, 1 acc, and 1 recharge is what I use. Smashing haymaker also has a decent amount of s/l defense and is far cheaper.
If you're planning to farm bosses, you can easily drop a couple slots out of your imps. They're going to die on every single spawn because they're retarded. Every time i bring them out on a immob'd and debuffed spawn of mobs they decide to run off and bring some more friends to the party - they don't last long.
Consider picking up earth's embrace as well. I think that 1 heal and 2 recharges will perma it and bring you to the HP cap. Helps for when 4 bosses roll a two at once and hammer you for 1400 dmg.
Good luck with your character!
I took Dasbert's build, tweaked it here and there, and am currently using the following.
I didn't have all the purples that I needed for it, and didn't have the Miracle or Steadfast uniques on hand either, but it works like a charm without them....until I get some lucky ticket rolls/WW purchases.

Celestia: Not bad at all! Kind of expensive with the purples, but an excellent end-game build.
Well, I was strongly influenced by Das Bert in the first place, perhaps I shouldn't have strayed as I did. I can respec to get exactly has he built and slotted. But for my level 49 pick I still think I'd go with Super speed rather than Inertial Reduction because I perfer to race along not looking for something to Siphon Speed from rather than bounce around. But I see that he doesn't have Earth's Embrace. While the survivaliblity of extra hitpoints sound very nice, I'm not sure what I could drop to make room for it. I'm kinda leary of dropping any of the earlier powers/slotting since I'm not really enough of a numbers cruncher to figure out to maintain the soft-capped defense.

I definitely prefer Super Speed over Inertial Reduction, mainly for the ability to combine it with an IO for Invisibility.
Earth's Embrace is nice, I had it originally. But once you pick up the key accolades, it only adds about half the hit points because of the hit point cap.
It's pretty easy to mess with builds in Mids and see how your changes effect your defensive numbers. I tweaked Das Berts build for some accuracy, better endurance recover and to be a bit stronger on individual powers, mainly by adding in some purples that I already had slotted. I posted it around here somewhere.
Ok, I've paid closer attention to Dasbert's build, was well as taking some of Igor's advice. I managed to work in Earth's Embrace, at the expense of SP (which I find I don't use so much when farming anyways). Here's the new, improved me!

I've read several of the posts and guides here in this section of the forums, and I've decided build my very own powerhouse fire/kin. Below is what I've come up with. I'm fairly poor so there are no purples, and to be honest it will be a while before I can lay hands on some of the uniques I have listed, so I'll probably be using a fair number of common IO's till I can get what I've listed.
Luminal is right now level 49, and I do have a couple of vetspecs. My attack chain with her right now is to open with Flashfire, run in with Hot Feet and the Imp, hit us all with Fulcrum Shift, then Firecages, then Fissure, and Char whatever is still trying to kill me.
I'd like to think I haven't made any glaring mistakes, but I've been wrong about that sort of thing in the past. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated!
