the "lives" relate to team losses, not deaths - so you can be on 2 losing teams, but not three.
Also, we would be looking to have the first "Fight Night" on Thursday 1st of June. -

Regarding twilight grasp slotting, I tend to go 3heal 3recred - at level 35 I can put out 376 heal points every 4.5 seconds. With tactics running, it very rarely misses, and over time I would outheal pretty much any other slotting in that power.
Even without tactics the hit rate was usually high enough (as if it missed, then I'd just cycle it again in 4 seconds time)
I know you've had the case for darkest night thrown at you (I only respecced into this power at 24, couldn't see what the fuss was about) but the first time I slapped it on an elite boss, and was able to newspaper emote as he tried in vain to hit me - priceless.
Having said that, I never got on with Tar patch myself (and still don't have it) so go with what you feel comfortable with. -
Hehe, saw your spoof VG broadcast the other day Kin while you were loitering outside the sirens flier. Made me chuckle
The best advice I can give the OP is to a) check the RP board if you really want an RP VG, b) don't commit yourself to a VG until you have either teamed with a few of them, or spent a trial period with them. We try to make sure this happens in the Pirates of the Apocalypse, although it is tricky in the pre-i7 lull. -
so far I'm level 9 of the above build, and I'm not hurting too much from having only two attacks (i'm usually healing on a team at this point).
I would like firebreath, but not at the expense of acrobatics - spent too much time on my back already for my liking due to kb. If there is another power that can be swapped for FB, by all means, let me know - more AoE goodness is always fun. -
Well, the 4th iteration of Captain Morgan (rad/dark now semi retired on my original account, fire/kin deleted at 16, ice/kin deleted at 10) is now a level 6 fire/therm, but this time I want to make sure the build makes sense, and fits my preferred playing style.
Mainly for PvE, but my new interest in PvP is a possibility (although I know it will mess up the slotting), so comments from both perspectives would be appreciated. Ideally I'd like something that can solo ok, be fantastic in teams, and able to handle those do-gooders in sirens/RV.

I've focused mainly on the secondary, as I enjoy the healing/buffing/debuffing side of things, then gone for a mix of single target and aoe goodness from the primary. I'm aware I will only have two attacks to 18, but providing I get the teaming love, this shouldn't be a problem (and I don't mind taking it slow to solo pre 18 every now and again).
I decided against forge, purely as I prefer having the option to resurrect in PvE, but could be persuaded otherwise if Forge is really worth it. Definitely took thaw, to supplement the mez resist options of the brutes and stalkers, and to give some to the doms/mm/corrs.
I would have liked assault/tactics in there, but suspect it might be a problem for end consumption, and didn't want to end up with only 3 attacks/miss out on the shields/debuffs.
What do you think - is this build capable of doing what I would like it to? -

But i daresay someone will find an inventive use for it that will change opinions on it (perhaps for when the fire corr goes Inferno? hmmm. using it with bodyguard to take the aggro from the dominator who just used their aoe immob? Using it as single target immob + -fly for PvP? some ideas to play with maybe...) -
What I don't understand is the argument that a) "I don't need attacks, that's what my pets are for, and if i get any aggro I die", followed almost immediately by b) "A shield? What are you thinking? I don't attack, so I don't get aggro, what use is a shield to me?"
Am I being obtuse or does a + b not equal a solution that allows you to be more use to a team? I.e, I take a patron pool attack, this allows me to contribute more to the damage output of the team. I take a patron shield, which makes me more survivable, and able to handle the aggro generated by my use of the patron attack.
Surely more attacks from MMs themselves, and the ability to handle the aggro from using those attacks makes masterminds *much* more of a potent force, in PvE and PvP?
I'm especially looking forward to the patron pools for MMs, as I think they offer something extra that will make my MM even more powerful. -

ice works well with both, although it is very end intensive.
Fire/kin provides silly amounts of aoe damage, but again hurts for end at the lower levels.
Energy/kin would be a challenge
To be honest, with that one exception, you should be ok with any of the primaries and cold/kin. Dark is nice, as is Rad. -
Hehe, to echo the sentiment, absolutely nothing wrong with your tactics wilf.
Here's one for discussion - today in siren's there was a little scrapper who repeatedly bolted inside the hospital when the wife got him down to 10% health. As she was one of only 3 villains against 8-10 heroes, and was quite happily scrapping against all of them, (and spending a lot of time travelling back from the hospital..) it was a touch unsporting not to repay the spirit of the fight by taking the chance and going for the win himself.
So, he went straight onto her hitlist, and got sent to the hospital 3 or 4 times in short succession - and when he ran for the hospital the last time, she followed with hyper phase on and danced at him. The tone of the zone was lovely and friendly, with lots of kills exchanging hands, so why do some people worry about dying so much? -
seconded, except i'm not taking the first or second tier pets - just the third one to act as a comrade in arms.
(and perhaps gang war, for the hell of it) -
I've seen it used very effectively, but endurance will be a problem... Unfortunately I'm only speaking at second-hand experience of the combo, so can't be much use. I personally think you should go fire/storm, just for rarity value.

Fire/rad is truly excellent, with some nice synergy between the sets, and is probably more controllery than the other choices. (I'm thinking with Choking Cloud)
Fire/kin is damage central, especially once you get those insane monkeys, and gives you the option to avoid travel powers with the siphon speed/inertial reduction option.
Never seen a fire/storm. Ever. Could be nice, especially with the whole fire/cold thing going on. (Snow Storm, Hurricane for debuffery) -
Why certainly - send a screenshot or two of the hero(s) you want included, some text about the hero(s) so I can get a feel for the character, and then leave it to me.
Have a couple more to add, will do once I have a nice batch to put up -
1 exception - illusion trollers (Phantom Army makes such a massive difference at 18).
I've actually found my trollers to level faster than my other toons, but teaming is the key, as others have said -
I'm really not 100% on the exact legalities, but there is certainly scope to allow artists to produce new interpretations of copyrighted material for profit without licensing/royalties. I believe it to be based on the amount of work produced - if one-off commission pieces, then fair play, if mass produced screen prints, then prepare to have your wallet raided by the company that owns the IP.
All the above may be utter twaddle, but I'm not certain that the applicable laws are especially clear in the circumstances...
