ice works well with both, although it is very end intensive.
Fire/kin provides silly amounts of aoe damage, but again hurts for end at the lower levels.
Energy/kin would be a challenge 
To be honest, with that one exception, you should be ok with any of the primaries and cold/kin. Dark is nice, as is Rad.

until you get heat loss at level 38, or transference.
Both of these sets are good for both solo and team play. I've got a fire/kin and he can steamroll missions on his own, and in a team people like to say things like "SB PLIZZZZ!" so I know I'm needed Kin is more of a team set.
If you want to do PvP get fire or ice primary.

The damage an ice/ice cor can kick out at high level is stupid 
They can decimate whole spawns in seconds with their - Res powers and rains with slows to keep mobs in them.
The more mobs there are, the more they get to kill quite simply hehe
Once you get heatloss you become everyone's favourite team mate, Ice/Cold works well, as does Sonic/cold.
aR/Cold also works to a limited degree cause of your little flame patch.
EN doesn't work that well with either, the knock back makes life hard for you.

i like ice/kin more then ice/cold.
It has to be Kin 4 teh win!
I always stayed away from kinetics although I loved to be buffed with inertial reduction on Heroes.
Making Surge was the best choice I ever made!!!
Kin is just sooo much fun,you never have a minute of quiet time lol.Best bit is stacking 2 Fulcrums and hitting your nova best tactic against MM's in PvP =)

I got these.. level 13 and flying! Energy/Kinetics FTW!!
Energy is nice single target damage, kinetic lovely single target debuffs, so far they are working perfectly for me, solo and teams.

As the all /rad team has fone south I am looking for a new corruptor alt. For secondary I have narrowed the choice to either Cold or Kinetics. I would like some advice of a secondary that works well with either choice. For the /kin route I am looking for a pure damage build with a small teaming consideration aka speed boost. For /cold I am thinking of a more team friendly build but still with the ability to solo. Builds will be appriciated but not necessary.
