ZOMG!!
You might be right about the nems hanging tight but if you think a troller is going to get away with walking into the middle of groups of them then yo crazy dude.
FS is an awesome power but it really comes into its own once you 6 slot it and pick up your epic set. If I were you I would be catious until then -
Pfft!! tanks are the toons of yesteryear
they get hammered in PvP
They hate invis and KB powers so go for them -
I would go for stamina. The only reason Finet has enough stamina in fights is due to the recharge in transference.
I have to admit that when I got my imps until I got my epic set that I didn't need it, especially when soloing.
Once I got my epic, to make my toon as fast and as destructuve as possible I took the fire set and needed stamina.
I don't really use Finet in PvP but as a PvE player he has an awesome and destructive power that can only be maintained with a combimnation of stamina and transference -
I got a couple of points if you are thinking of pvp.
1) I wouldn't use fly. It's not fast enough and uses too much end. As an alternative I would be looking at both hurdle and combat jump with some slots. Add hasten and superspeed to this and your movement capabilities around the PvP zones is more than enough. If you can add a slot to SS that will give you a serious edge.
2) ToF. In my build I don't have the TH debuff, I have the fear duration instead to let me land longer attack chains. You have a good TH debuff anyway naturally as a dark scrapper. Plus, at early stages, i.e. sirens, you want to rattle off as many atttacks as poss.
3) Definitely keep SD, especially within you sirens range. On your way into a fight, hit some NPXs with SD and then hit the villians. Absolutley priceless.
4) MoG. I liked this for PvE. But all my enemies loved it in PvP. If you use this in PvP, if any villian is worth their weight then you will be dead before the end of the animation.
5) After spending some time in PvP with dark mastery epic I think I agree with you on the body mastery. I took dark mastery for the hold but the anim is too long for me and the foccessed acc is necessary.
Anyway, good luck with your build. Mills was my 1st 50 about a year ago and I still love playing him.
Good luck -
would love to join in but i won't be on til after dinner. Dyou think you'll still be testing then?

Actually, I think even the ranks in WoW don't really show if someone's good or not; it just shows how much free time they have.

Yes you're right about that, I saw a posting over there where a guy sounded as if he was wanting to give up his job wife children dog.... ou get the message.
But in saying that, as a personal challenge to yourself in WoW its good to get reputation and special rank based bonuses.
Somebody said to me that its not fair when fighting heroes if you have these bonus items but if they put a sotp to FFA zones then that would make the items fair. -
Lo peeps
Our SG currently have the basic 8x8 tiny plot and we would like to upgrade.
I have a couple of questions
1) Is it worth saving to go for the smallest secure plot?
2) If you own a secure plot, can you only put secure type rooms in it? -
What type of rooms can you put a dimensional anchor in and do I have to craft them?
Also, where can I get a raid teleporter? Our Sg currently have a teleportation room with 2 telepads and 4 beacons, which is the max it can handle. We were considering upgrading to a room that can handle 3 telepads. Is this feasible? -
couldn't agree more mate. Just now you are really just grinding for SOs (not complaing) or temp powers or whatever. Ranking would make it more fun and dare I s ay it, competative
-
I don't get it, although I do like the SOs from Sirens. the prestige gain in Warbug is excellent though, I sometimes solo in there to try and get some
-
Are there many raids goin on in defiant just now? I don't know how to find out if there are any happening. I would like to do dummmy raids just to see what it's like

Hami and You by Johnny Ball (for people aroung 30)
Let me know if you're upto more hive investigation and I will join you. Not really done much in there so would like to see more of the place -
Tell you, I am a little confused.... Were the 4-5 heroes not looking at you? or were they AFK? Or was this just another villainous attempt at exageration?
What server are you? I took a complete doin off a brute in Warburg a week or so ago when I was in as my scrapper. So much so I went and made a nrg/DA brute.
If you're on defiant I will look out for you to see some of that awesome hero-beating action (probably from the ground up)
-
I fought a ice/nrg blaster the other night and as far I can remember the toggle dropper only came from the hold, not from the bone smasher - although to be honest it was the fastest dual I have ever had so I may be lying/wrong.
The problem is with resilience and integration. If the scrapper has them then it makes it difficult for the blapper.
In sayin that I am noooooooo 'pwner' in the arena so I could be very wrong here
one thing though, I know a couple of blasters that would just and only recommend a respec on that build if you are interested in PvP -
Its wierd, I've taken a couple of toons to Maria. 1 of them doesn't get any missions from her any more and never got to fight Tyrant. The other got onto the arc and got the statesmans pal badge
It probably had something to do with arc limits on my mission list right enough -
Another thing I did notice during one of the raids was that when the rads had the LRs and the other toggle on hami, is nrg was down to about half, and that was just during the holding phase so there wasn't much dmg goin on.
Surely if thats the case then we could just 'season to taste'with scrappers and blasters for a quick finish
-
count me in, would like to look at something else for hami.
although the previous approach is reasonably effective I am always willing to try something new to add a bit of variety -
At the last raid somebody was shouting about having mind controllers confuse the mitos
Is this possible? Are they effected by that sort of thing?
If they aren't, are the giant monsters? - Would it be worth taking them into the bubble? A team could consist of a couple of mind trolls, a tank, kinetics or rad and empaths. Another team could accompany them that would have scrappers/blasters and empaths, who could keep the hp undere control on the confused subjects.
Also, you could have the usual suspects attacking the mitos that are too high for ground attacks.
the obvious flaw to this would be
1) The confused GMs would attack each other
2) Niether GMs or Mitos can be confused in which case I have just wassted your time and mine
Also, if we cant get enough numbers frequently enough lets head out to TS to try out new things with all the servers -
it would have to be mini statues to fit them in our base
-
Does any1 think its worth slotting tohit debuffs on the dark melee set?
-
Try PMing Valhart. He has a lvl 40 stalker and some really good ideas about working with them. He plays a fair bit of PvP and does well at it. He sent me some information about stalkers which has inspired me to play mine some more.
Sorry Valhart for posting your name for PMing but it serves you right for giving me that pile of very good information -
lo peeps
I currently have a Dark/regen/dark scrapper. The last respec I did I scrapped body mastery to try dark instead and I quite enjoy it.
I now want to respec him again because when I'm in Sirens Call I have only a couple of attacks and my best mate - touch of fear. Its just as well I have touch of fear because of the downtime involved between hits.
I am really happy with my regen powerset as it appears to last well to the extent that assasins strike isn't that effective, unless there are 2 of them.
I currently have 2 powers in leaping and 3 powers in teleport. I am considering changing that to 3 powers in the speed power pool -
Flurry - for the extra low lvl attack
Super speed - which I plan to add at leasst one slot to so I can have an advantage when chasing/escaping
Whirlwind - I could e persuaded not to take this but I think it could be handy in PvP.
This will leave me with a couple of extra slots. Is i worth taking something out of the leadership pool?
Also, with the interServer rumbles going on I may look at going back to body mastery so I can get focussed accuracy. Do you think that its worth while?
Let me know what you think guys -

Don't forget the entire set full of toggle droppers that is energy melee.
