The guy in that last pic with demon wings and horns is totally me. That event was EPIC! We need more like it!
The best part was that the Mod responded to things we said... It's fun having an event that lets us banter. Banter is an important part of being a Supervillain. -
I blame you for Candle Jack kidnapping me in the middle of this po

For a Scrapper, Boxing does a base damage of 47.5 with a cast of 1.07. Most of those quick, weak attacks scrappers get do more damage and animate in less time. Even Dual Blade's first attack with about the same cast time, does 10 more base damage, and Dual Blades has weak individual attacks that are overcome in combos. It's just weaker DPS than any of the first two attacks in any melee set. It's just all in all an awful attack. And it's awful on any toon: On a blaster, it does worse DPS than Blaster Attacks. RANGED attacks. It is a melee attack that does less DPS than most ranged attacks on the same toons.

I agree. It's minor, but it's randomly annoying.

Quote:Most of my characters don't even have Stamina anymore. (Previously, ALL my characters had Stamina. I have since learned much better energy management.) So obviously, I don't see any 'gulch' existing.
...Would you be willing to share some of these Staminaless builds? I'm very curious in seeing how a character can be good without it. I've got a Dark/Fire scrapper who, Dark Consumption, Consume, and Stamina and still manages to run out of endurance at times. While some builds may be able to function without Stamina, my experience is that being /good/ requires Stamina on the vast majority of builds. -
We know BAB is working on tails.

The difference between Boxing and Jumpkick is that Combat Jumping is amazing and Kick is godawful. If Jumpkick were the only path into Super Jump, then I'd begrudgingly accept it as a necesarry evil like Brawl is. But it's not, and there's really no good reason to take Jumpkick over Combat Jumping.

Quote:Jumpkick is not an attack option. Taking jumpkick is the equivalent of hitting yourself in the groin with a 2x4. There's just no reason to do it and it'll never really stop hurting.- and while two do have an attack option (Jump Kick and Air Superiority,)
And dbuter... If you can't wait till level 14 for a travel power, then for the love of god, never touch World of Warcraft. -

Note to self: Make a scaly, one-horned, on-fire, eagle taloned monster.

Wouldn't be the first insta-badge.
**Selects wife**
**Clicks "invite to team""**
**sets up any of multiple ways to not auto-log**
Bam, 24 hours later, Advisor-Paradigm badges.
I don't object to a badge for walking long enough. It's no sillier than "spend 5 hours in a PVP zone" or things like that. -
This does bring up something else that I'd like: I want to be able to use Horns with beast heads. I've got a character that uses the lizard head and I'd love to be able to put horns on that.

Quote:Let us add in random items of our own, too.I had an idea...
what if story arc souvineers became placeable base items (only one of a souvineer can be placed in an SG base), and at times there could be TF's/SF's that involves someone stealing these souvineers for unknown purposes (or SF side, using them for nefarious ends).
"something stolen from the base" is a pretty common convention of the genre, and I think that at least some intrest could come of it, if only for the way it becomes a linear canon.
"The Tsoo have Stolen Capn Geist's Tricorn!" That'd be a mission that I'd care about. -
Quote:I didn't know anything was required to play this game... Actually, come to think of it, I don't think this game is required. ...I could be spending those 15 bucks a month on nachos...if io's were required to play the game then sure. since they are not, i give this a big NO.
But we're not expecting the Devs to enhance the flavor of nachos. We're expecting them to add things to make the non-requirement of the game more interesting and more desirable. And as set bonuses are so much more fun and awesome than SOs, I think it would make this game a lot more fun if it was more reasonable for characters to be able to get their set bonuses at the levels they want.
...Hey, I know you... Oh, right. Ahem.
"Blasters aren't required to play this game. The devs should stop doing stuff to make blasters better. At all. No more blaster sets! No more blaster customization! Dual Pistols is a waste of effort and you don't need Dual Pistols to play the game!" -
I'd like to suggest adding a power with the animation from Brawl that keeps the bow in hand. Just a weak damage melee attack with a chance to disorient. Blaster secondaries should have something for melee, and I think we all want to smack someone with a bow.

I would like to see more stuff that was based on origin, but I'm not sure this is the right answer. But then again... What is? Origin is there and it's clearly underused. They should do something with it, but what?

How about also an additional perma-contact whom you can call and will give you a 'random' mission starring your featured enemy. Random in the sense of like the newspaper missions are. Some base missions just filled in.

Quote:Does anyone know roughly what to expect in the Mutant Pack? Im lookin for more animal heads! I have some bull characters that I need heads for. Also the super serum and formula that I got with the Science Pack need animal forms to be able to change into.
Enemy Mine Booster would rock! We need some enemy pieces, not whole costumes, pieces would be nice.
BAB is working on tails. Most likely animated tails. -
ITF shows it's possible from the first mission.
I'd love to see it used more and as an AE option.
