Quote:I have been toying with the idea of a NA account, but it's annoying to say goodbye to the alts I've built up over five plus years.Yup, you're seem to be the last one i gues
Havent logged in EU side for weeks, running around solo and doing nothing isnt my kind of game anymore. (yup, other games have good party search features) and not really into creating yet another character.
I'm probably bailing out on the GR/issue 18, hopefully a future issue will bring server transfers or sortlike. The beta itself is imho pretty dissapointing, dispite the graphics stuff i yet again see their add new stuff and totaly forget the old.
Until server transfer (EU --> NA) becomes an option I'll be making sure the swords base remains neat and tidy! -
Server
My defiant slots are pretty full, although I still have the option of three more slots waiting to be allocated to a server.
I'm not worried which server we go to as it's the taking part that counts.
Alignment
There should be a hero and a villain group so people can be involved on their favourite side.
Names
If it doesn't upset non-Union players, I like European Union. Failing that, I agree with Damz on the Europe United name for the heroes.
As to villains, Euro Trash or European Outcasts. -
Strine and English.
Did French for a couple of years at high school, and it's probably as good as my woodworking skills (another subject that lasted two years at high school). -
Sounds interesting, and I'm getting a little lonely in the Swords SG base. Count me in when GR day is upon us.

Consider me a definite "maybe"!
Junior will have started Uni by then, so not sure if he will be available / interested.
All I need to do now is arrange some meetings in Birmingham on the Friday, and that will get the travel costs covered by work -
Quote:With such an incentive, how could I refuse such a challenge? Bring on the soccer season!A little while ago I announced the inaugural Rogues Radio Fantasy Premier League Football competition here:
http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showp...9&postcount=36
After a little chat with Coin, there will be a prize - A Rogues Radio Cup! If you haven't joined the contest, there's still time and now you can win stuff! -
WW - many thanks for standing up and putting yourself forward carrying the blue flag with the stars in a circle on it. If a book had been running on which redname was to step forward into the ever decreasing pack of rabid EU wolves, then you would have been a very heavily backed favourite!
We await your update once your investigations have concluded.

Damn, now I feel home sick!
An Aussie (from Deniliquin, NSW) living/working in the UK since 1989. I'm on the EU servers though, so won't get the chance to say "g'day" in game until they decide to close, um, merge the EU servers with the NA ones.
So hello to all the Oceanic hero and villains! -
Boy, my son has sure lucked out! Travelling to Boston to meet up with friends from one of the many forums he is involved with only to find out that PAX East is sold out and now the Co* meet is restricted to those who are 21 and over (he's 19).
If he stands outside and waves at you all is that ok? -
I'll sign up as an empath (with recall friend) for the tank team - Robo Medic MkIV
-
63 months here, and still only 4 level 50's!!
I suffer from real bad altitis. -
Am happy to join in at weekends and can bring:
Robo Medic Mk IV - Empath / Rad defender (with Recall Friend)
Entrino - Dark / Dark defender
Tridento - Claws / Invul scrapper -
A lot of what has been said on here already.
Definitely get yourself into an active SG/VG and keep an eye on Defiant Events.
Make sure your 'team status' is set to your mood, it makes it easier for people to identify potential team mates when doing searches - and it also helps if you have a bit of a description in your search comments, eg: Claws/Invul scrapper - always lft.
If you aren't being invited to a team, try and start one up! Advertise on Defiant Events what it is you want to do and see if there are any takers. Do a search and see if anyone else is looking for a team (lft).
The people in this game are what make it so great and give the value for money. Even more so when you get to meet some of the people at player meets / events and can then place faces to hero / villain names. -
I pity the people of Boston - my son (aka Junior / Union server) is heading to Boston to catch up with online friends, and it happens at the same time as PAX East!
It seems only fitting that he will be looking to attend the 'meet and greet'. If he gets the chance to re-acquaint himself with War Witch again (memories of Guitar Hero in Brighton at the Gamer Heaven meet) then all the better! -
Congrats to the Karmas!! That's an extremely focussed effort in getting to Number One.
-
Nice one Forsaken...I dabbled with this towards the end of 2007 and the prestige range back then for the Top 30 Groups was 17,216,231 (Galactia Senshi) to 62,037,654 (Murders Unlimited). I've only been getting back into CoX over the last month and it's still good to see a good level of activity on Defiant (alas the same cannot be said of the Swords - Cruciform or Crucified).

G'day all.
Hmmm, why have I started saying 'aluminium' wrong? Aloominum, nope can't get it right. Boards are bugged!! -
'mega man you know where to send it!! All I see in Worthing is blue sky, albeit quite a windy day.
-
Yeah, not looking too good at the moment
Where was all this rain we were promised?
-
Thoroughly recommend the Echelon as well, a very friendly bunch.
-
Woohoo, I may be around for this (providing I am in a good mood as it is will be the end of the 3rd day of the 2nd test).

Well done handies! As one who has been in and out of the CHP (I've never been active long enough on an alt to stay in on a permanent basis) I can say that my time with the handies was enjoyable. They are extremely focussed on their goals and go about this with the aim of having fun along the way.
