  2. I like to slot is like a Regular attack. It is best to do that first but if you don't need the set bounes then Frankenslotting it would be good to. Just make sure it hits and hit for some damage.

    It is ok to 6 slot stamina if it is giving you 3.13% AoE defense, that is why he as it.

  6. Well Scarpper are called the Solo AT, maybe try a Scrapper. A good Scrapper would be a Kat/WP Scarpper. It is very easy to play and will help you learn a lot about the game.

    And the Eye balls have crazy to hit, so if your a defense set like /SR it is going to hurt.

    For me I skip Breath of Fire, Scorch and Confront. Breath of Fire beacuse it is a small cone and as a long cast time. I don't like the power at all some people do. Scorch because Fire Sword is a little better and I don't see the need for both. Some people like Scorch better beacuse they don't like the look of Fire Sword. Then confront, well because it is confront.

    Edit to add: for /Fire can be played different ways. The powers not to skip are Healing Flames, Plasma Shield, Fiery Embrace(To me it's a can't skip for a Fire/Fire) and Fire Shield but you can't skip it. Blazing Aura is a great power I wouldn't skip it, it adds to your AoE damage a lot. Temperature Protection you can skip I have it in my fire/Fire but I dont' think I had it while lvling up. For Consume, Burn, Rise of the Phoenix can all be skip are put off till you get more powers.

    Well first off all Scrappers are good a soloing so you could pick any and do ok with.

    For you attack you said you want good ST damage and good AoE, I think the best for that would be Fire Melee. It as great ST damage and Fire Sword Cirlce is just awesome. Other are good too but Fire is one of my Fav.

    Now for the secondary again any will do, some go better with others but still all are good. Now I thinking for lvling up with just SO I think /WP would be the best. /WP is a great set and easy to play. You don't need to put a lot in to it to be great.

    If you looking to IO out your toon then /SR and /SD will be great for you then. /SD gets the most out of IOs IMO it can give you a great damage and gives you great Defense. /SR gets a lot but it is also a late bloomer. But with just SO /SR is the better of the 2.

    So if you want to be great with SO I would go with Fire/WP, if you want to put some work in to your build I would go with Fire/SD.

    Now like I said any secondary will do. Just play what you think looks fun to you.
  13. Lets see your Defense number are

    Melee 50.4%
    Ranged 49.5%
    AoE 36%

    So two of your defense numbers are over the soft cap, which is 45%. The soft capped is what you want to aim for with /SR. It will flood the to hit of most foes. With /SR you don't need to go much over so it will be fine at 45%-47%.

    Nope your not with 2 generic lvl 50 End Mods. Endurance Modification At lvl 50 only give +42.4%. So 2 of the would only be 84.4% and that is not counting ED which will make it 83.32% The Performance Shifter End Mod + the Proc does nothing for your End but give you a 20% chance for 10 end every 10 sec.

    I don't like the Scaling resists at all It doesn't do much IMO.

    Here is a pic of Scaling resists at work. I have around 1700 HIt points and Tough is not slotted that good. I'm only at 63% resists with Tough on and each auto power is only giving me 17%. I was not running any of my toggles because it would of took to long for them to kill me.

    Now I don't know if more Hitpoints will give you higher resists so if anything it would be better for a Brute.

    With just SO /Shield is weak. But you do have DM which as a heal so it makes it better but it is still weak. When looking at your other level 50 Scrapper Willpower will seem a lot stronger then your Shield Scrapper with just SO. Shield is weaker because it gives you more offense just like FA. The thing is Willpower will only get a little better with IOs, and DM/Shield becomes a lot better with IOs and I mean a lot better

    Your perception is not skewed WP is the stronger Scrapper with just SO. Also having one of them being Kat/WP your DM/SD should feel weak.

    You can skip SoW, I don't. I like the power but it is not a must have. But ya that is right about Willpower all but the last 2 powers.

    adding Strike over Swipe. Also I wouldn't skip Slash because it is the only Claws power that -def so you can hit more and your able to put the proc in. But All of them are good powers.

    I don't see this as a problem because if they are not attacking you, you don't need to regen fast.

    Well if there are 2 team I could go for this. I don't know what Scrapper I'll bring yet but right now I'm looking at my DM/SD Scrapper. But like Werner said I'll probably make the choice on the day of.

    He is lvl 48 don't assume everyone is going to playing at lower lvls. Taking it at lvl 49 is ok if you only plan on playing at lvl 50.

    Look at the set bounes before you say something like this. Yes you are right 6 slotting stamina is a waste but he/she is getting 3.13% defense and that is getting him/her close to the soft cap it is ok to 6 slot it.

    Ok why don't you slot Turtle in to Qullis. Well Quills as you know is a damage aura. It does damage and that is why I assume you took it is to do more AoE damage. So with slotting Turtle in it your only going to get 25% damage from the set. Your acc is ok your end is ok and your slow is crazy high, which I don't think will help you as much. The set bounes are ok but not the best, and to get the +def, which is very nice, it takes all 6 slot to do so.

    Now lets say you slot Scirocco that will give you a 95% dmage and better Accuracy which is what you want for an attack. It gives you ok end too and to get the +def it only take 5 slots, but they are different +def.

    But really it is up to you what you want to do with your build.
    Now me I think I would Frankenslotting it to get good Damage, good End Discount, good Accuracy and maybe some slow but I don't know how good the slow is in Quills. Hope this helps you better.

    If i have a lot of recharge in my build I go with this slotting

    2x Nucleolus Exposure
    1x Golgi Exposure
    1x Hecatomb: damage/Recharge
    1xNumina's Heal/Endurance
    1x Numina's Heal

    That gives you

    66.6% Accuracy
    94.81% Damage
    59.8% EndDiscount
    95.33% Heal
    33.13%Recharge

    Now this one I went for Damage, ok recharge and ok heal

    1x Numina's Heal/Recharge
    1x Numina's Heal/End/recharge
    1x Touch of the Nictus: Accuracy/Healing
    1x Cushing Impact Damage/Recharge
    1x Crushing Impact Accuracy/Damage/End
    1x Hecatomb Damage
    that gives you

    47.7% accurcay
    95.11% damage
    42.40% EndDiscount
    73.78% Heal
    73.78% Recharge
  23. Ok here is a Link To tell you all about IO. Here is a Contact in game that will teach you all about the Invention System.

    In short Set bonuses are earned from slotting more than one distinct Enhancement from the same set into the same power. Set bonuses apply to the character at all times, regardless of the power into which the set is slotted.
