Optimizing slotting for Siphon Life
I just throw a full set of Touch of Death. Although I also have 57.5% Global Rech, 60% Global Acc and 38.4% Global Dam and chains in the build every five to six seconds so not so worried about the integrity of the heal when it fires off that often.
Slotting kind of depends partially on your secondary and the global assets you have stored up. The build I mentioned is from DM/Shield soft capped, if the secondary were Resistance based I might put more into the heal aspect of the power.

I like to Frankenslot it so that it gets close to capped damage, some good endo reduction, some recharge, AND close to capped Heal.
First let's set a baseline for comparison:
3 lvl 50 Heal IOs would give it 99% heal enhancement for 19.9% Heal (twice the 10% base)
3 lvl 50 Dmg IOs would give it 96.5% dmg enhancement for 320.2 dmg
Now let's look at my proposed Frankenslotting:
2 Hami Acc/Dmg
1 Mako Dmg/End lvl 50
Miracle Heal, Miracle Heal/End, Miracle H/E/R
This gives the following enhancement
66% accuracy
90.17% dmg (nearly capped, 311.6 -- vs the 320 above)
69.93% endurance
80.82% heal (18.1% heal vs. the 19.9% above)
19.3% recharge
Plus the 3 Miracles give 2.5% recovery and 1.87% HP bonus (on a scrap). Generally I'm stacking recovery & HP on my Scraps & Brutes so I like this.
If that's not enough recharge for ya, swap out the H/E for a H/R. Generally I have enough global recharge that SL is up every 4 seconds with this slotting.
Or to cap damage, slot a generic Dmg IO in place of Mako -- that's 96% dmg enhance but you drop to 43% endo (which is low for a fast chain).

I went 3 HO's acc dam
1 golgi and 2 heal IO's that gave me end boost one heal and a heal/rech I am running a dm/sr so I get a 20% quickness boost

I think the most interesting slotting I've seen was Werner's -- two acc/dam HOs, a Hecatomb dam/rech and three pieces of Numina if I remember correctly. It had ED-capped heal and damage, and about 90% recharge and 60% acc.

96% damage
76% endurance discount

[/ QUOTE ]I like both your existing and no limit suggestion versions quite a bit. My char is currently sitting on about +56% acc global (plus the Kismet Unique, as well as being /inv with Invince's +toHit), so the 38% acc would probably be workable but the damage from the second is pretty appealing. Even with lvl 50 HO's the numbers are pretty nice.
Geez. All I manage without dipping into purples or HOs is 47% acc, 78% dam, 47% end discount, 73% heal, and 78% recharge.
Could I go any further without purples or HOs?

Hecatomb Acc/Dam/Rech, Dam/Rech

84.7% Healing
26.5% Accuracy
100.8% Recharge
33.3% EndRedux

But don't mind me, I'm the crazy scrapper who fires Siphon Life every 3 seconds (well, 2.9 if it's not after Shadow Maul).

*Laughs*
That's how I actually had my SL slotted, that's why I posted it
If you have some decent global Acc (like I do, so 26% is more than enough in a power), then Acc can indeed be quite low. How low are you willing to go with the end/acc?
Crushing Impact Acc/Dam/Rech, Dam/Rech
Numina's Heal/End, Heal/Rech, Heal/End/Rech
Damage IO
21.2% Accuracy
88.07% Damage
47.7% End
73.78% Heal
91.78% Rech
12% Regen
25.1 HP
2.2% Immob resist
Replace the End/Heal for Plain heal if you want, you end with 21.2% End discount and 88.07% heal. Or use a different set if Numi's too expensive (The plain +Heal could be an IO if you want to forego the 3-piece set bonus, for example, and the rest Doctored Wounds).

This one's definitely geared more towards survivability than damage, but 71% damage isn't too bad.

Hrm, I like that one better than the setup I previously mentioned. It's a pity I can't get Dam/Heal/Rech to the 90's and Acc/End in the 50's without going into purple and Hami territory.
Now which would be better for overall survivability:
Having these stats for Siphon Life
45% accuracy
71% damage
40% endurance
88% heal
90% recharge
with 43.1% Melee Defense
Or having these stats instead
43% accuracy
96% damage
62% endurance
0% heal
43% recharge
and being Melee soft-capped?

Very close. Tough to call, but I'm going with the better heal.
Roughly speaking, the 88% higher heal in the first option will probably provide you with about 50% more overall healing and regeneration. The 2% lower melee defense will see you taking 40% more damage in melee, or maybe 30% more damage overall. So it looks like the additional healing will probably slightly more than make up for the additional incoming damage, but it would depend heavily on the rest of the build. As for inspirations, while greens can easily replace the lost healing from a 0% heal enhancement in Siphon Life, a purple can even more easily replace the 2% defense deficit. So yeah. I'm going with healing by a small margin.

Why not use a Kinetic Combat?
4 Kinetic Combat (minus Proc)
2 Heal IOs
22.94% Acc
85.45% Dam
41.29% EndRed
83.32% Heal
41.29% Rech
20.1 HP
1.88% Melee Defense
Replace Heal IO with Acc/Heal or Acc/End/Heal or Heal/Rech if you want to trade a bit of heal for any of those - and take the Nictus set Heal IO too for an extra 25.1 HP.
Acc/Heal + Heal = 49.44% Acc, 68.90% Heal.
Acc/End/Heal + Heal = 44.14% Acc, 62.49% End, 63.60% Heal.

Since it all depends on your build and what you need like a dm/sr has a different criteria than maybe a dm/reg and so forth so it all depends on what you are looking for from your IO sets and do you want more damage maybe you do not have all the global +acc etc :]
So here are a few
Say you need more healing than damage

Well, my main, a DM/Inv is loving the I13 changes (especially to DM) and was wondering about the various combos people have come up with for slotting Siphon Life, now that the base damage is so substantial that it is finding its way into regular attack chains.
I currently (lvl 50 slotting) have it set with three IOs from Touch of the Nictus (Acc/heal,heal/rec,and heal) plus the Mako quad (Acc/dam/end/rec), and two Crushing Impact triples (Acc/dam/rec, dam/end/rec).
This gives me +1.88 health and +9% acc globals which is nice, and the following enhancement values.
Acc: 66.3%
Dam: 61%
Rech: 81.7%
Heal: 91.8%
End: 39.7%
That seems to give me a good amount of mitigation, while capitalizing more on the recently improved damage.
One option I see is to drop the TotN rec/heal, for a Hecatomb dam/rec (the one Hecatomb I don't have currently in use in Smite), that would change the values to:
Acc: 66.3%
Dam: 93.8%
Rech: 88.5%
Heal: 68.9%
End: 39.7%
That looks pretty sweet. Of course, I lose a +9% acc bonus and Hecatomb rec/dam is about 40 Mil... (edit Q.: Is there a dam/rech HO out there?)
Any other Siphon Life strategies?
