  1. Gratz!!! First one is always the best
  2. [ QUOTE ]
I thought so too. I guess I was doing a Incinerate - Cremate - GFS - Cremate chain.

    [/ QUOTE ]

It wasn't that chain either because it needs more rechrage. Cremate needs needs to recharge in 1.848 to run without gaps, that would be 333% recharge in Cremate.
  3. [ QUOTE ]
This is the kind of thread where someone makes a statement and taunts others to debate it. Nobody's actually looking for answers here. Nobody is going to change thier opinion as a result of this thread.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    This

If you don't like playing regen, well good for you. I'm going to keep play it as is, it is one of my fav sets. I'm not missing out if your not playing the set, so I don't care if you ever like it.
  4. [ QUOTE ]
    [ QUOTE ]
odds are that if the AV couldn't kill you in the first 5 minutes of the fight then he probably doesn't have an attack chain that will be able to do it at all (barring some really insane RNG rolls).

[/ QUOTE ] This isn't my experience at all with AV soloing. Most of my defeats occur past the 5 minute mark.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Same with me the longer the fight the more likely I will die. With a Faster fight you give them less of a chance to kill you, or getting a lucky hit in.
  5. *faceplam* here we go again. Must this be talk about every month.
  6. It is like exemplaring. You are the lvl of the Story Arc.
  7. Not really. Some ppl say the /FA is too weak but I never did. It is a really fun combo to play IMO.

    also what lvl are you?
  8. [ QUOTE ]
use gfs>incin>cremate>fs which imo is a funner and cooler chain to use.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Same here, I really like that chain a lot. I like the look of all the attacks and it is fun to see all of the attacks back to back
  9. [ QUOTE ]
So then you also agree /SD for AV solo?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I would love to tell you, but I don't know which one would be better
  10. [ QUOTE ]
Shield and WP are kind of the polar opposites in secondaries. One excels in adding damage when you are surrounded while the other excels in keeping you alive in the same circumstances.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well outside of AV solo I would think both would excels at keeping you alive with the same circumstances. With Shields The more foes around you the more damage you do so you kill them fast which will help you stay alive.
  11. [ QUOTE ]
It would be pretty cool if they gave /Electric Knock Back protection or a self heal, but I think I'm dreaming.

    [/ QUOTE ]

/Electric as Knock back protection it is in Grounded
  12. [ QUOTE ]
So, silly question here... to chain that three-attack chain together, you need to have a total of 134% recharge in each power (enhancement + global)?

    [/ QUOTE ]

If your talking about the Incinerate -> Scorch -> Cremate -> Scorch.

    Incinerate will need 145%
    Cremate will need 89%
    Scorch will need 74%

that would be enhancement + global recharge need. so take Incinerate you can get 90% enhancement recharge then you only 55% Global.
  13. Let me see

    Scrappers 12 (6 at 50)
    Controllers 6 (1 at 50)
    Blasters 4 (1 at 50)
    Tanks 4
    Defenders 4(1 at 50)
    PB 1
    WS 1

    Arachnos Widow 1 (at 50)
    Brutes 1
    Stalkers 2
    Masterminds 2 (1 at 50)
    Dominators 1
    SArachnos soldiers 1
    Corruptors 3

I think I need more Scrappers
  14. [ QUOTE ]
./ Before SO levels, the purely defensive toggles (Mind over Body and Heightened Senses)

    [/ QUOTE ]

Your right but the thing is you don't get Heightened Senses till lvl 28 on a Scrapper so that is after SO. And I take MoB at lvl 22 which is right when you get SO. So it is the same thing but I get MoB good before you and with no End issusesa, and have the attacks I want.

    [ QUOTE ]
you negate the chief advantage of picking Willpower.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Again I think you negated the Chief advantage of picking Willpwer if you take stamin at lvl 22. It is not because you can take your defense part it so you don't need to work in Stamina by lvl 20 so you can take a travel power easy and get the attacks you want when they come available. So you can slot them up and make them good with SO.
  15. [ QUOTE ]
No, no , NO!. With /WP, you take Quick Recovery at 20 and Stamina at 22, and you arrange your build by postponing Mind over Body and Heightened Senses until after Stamina is in place, at least.

    [/ QUOTE ]

You keep saying this and I never get why. I think you missing one of the best points about /WP. You don't need to work in Stamina by lvl 20 because you get Quick Recovery which is better! People live with just Stamina you will be fine with just QR. Take both at that lvl and then waiting to get MoB at lvl 24. Wow by lvl 25 you have an ok MoB and I have had one for 3 lvls now and guess what still no End issues.

I also find taking Stamina at lvl 22 a wast becuase you don't need that much end yet. Most tier 8 and tire 9 attacks are the ones that take the most end and your AoE but you should be spaming it at early lvls and most likey they still have a long recharge. Your attacking will take more end then your toggles even will.

Play how you want just stop tell people NO your doing it wrong when they are not. It is rude and it is not the only way to play /WP.

    Build me a...

Well if you slot the PvP IO +3 defense in Tought Plasma or fire shield you will be at 45.4% S/L def. Now how good is the build I don't know. It as Spine Burst, Throw Spins and Energy Torrent and Consume and Healing Flames slotting good. but some of the the other slotting sucks. and some of the power I wouldn't take like Barb Swipe. Also the end I think would suck I had to use a lot of Obliteration and use them in power that take a lot of end. But I hope this helps and maybe someone could do better.

  18. Yes if you Put the Stealth IO in Super Speed or Sprint and run Super Speed and Sprint it will work just fine.
  19. BrokenPrey

    Scrapper /shield

Well the Soft capped Defense is 45%. It is called the soft capped because there is no really no reason to go over it. In even level minion will start with a 50% chance to hit. Now defense takes away from that number. So 30% would make that minion have a 20% chance to hit. Now that minion will always have at least a 5% chance to hit. So 45% defense is the soft capped.

Now the way to get to the soft capped with /SD is to slot power like Hack to get the 3% melee buff. Your toggles alone will not get you there.

As for it there any point to go above the soft capped. You can, to help agaisnt Defense Debuffs. But anything with to hit will be a lot more they you can build for. With my DM/SD as 45% and I do get debuff some but it is only to 40% which is still go defense.
  20. Well with IOs you can go a lot of different ways to make your self good.

This is what I would do. +rech to get perm Dull Pain so your at the Hit Point cap. Then would work On + defense to get around 20% defense to melee, range and AoE. With Parry you sould be able to get soft capped def for Melee with is 45%. With all the + rech all for you clicks come back faster too.
  21. BrokenPrey

    fire/sr

    Well here is MyGuide

For Fire Melee it depends. I would say it is ok to skip Scorch, but I like it to lvl up with, and BoF I don't like the power at all. But the attack that you must take are Cremate, Incinerate and Fire Sword Circle.
  22. [ QUOTE ]
    [ QUOTE ]

the Question sould be do you have Integration, and Parry.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yes I have both but Parry is not slotted out. Should I be slotting it to make it a more effective defensive power?

    [/ QUOTE ]

For Slotting Parry I slot it for an attack. I like to slot it 1 acc, 3 dam, 1 end and 1 def buff. But if you needing more defense out of it then 1 acc, 2 dam, 1 end, 2 def buff. I don't care to much about the recharge because it recharge fast on it's own.
  23. [ QUOTE ]
On my kat/regen, I rarely need the click heals under challenge level 4. Do you have fast healing, integration, and health 3 slotted for health?

    [/ QUOTE ]

the Question sould be do you have Integration, and Parry. You don't need health and fast healing 3 slotted to have a good BS/Regen
