Not really. Some ppl say the /FA is too weak but I never did. It is a really fun combo to play IMO.

Another thing to keep in mind is that DM helps fill in the gaps some secondaries have, so you picked a primary that is going to help your secondary feel a bit more solid.
You have 2 self heals, 2 endurance refills, 2 self damage buffs, a single target immobilize to keep that hard target within the burn patch...
Sounds like an offensive juggernaut with fair staying power

I just rolled 20 and picked up consume. Still liking the combo.
I think from level 1 to 40+ it's a very solid combo. It's until until you start getting high amounts of IO sets in the other powersets that they start to pull ahead of FA. In the endgame, if you're teamed a lot then you won't notice any lacking in defensive power, and you'll certainly have sufficient offensive power to contribute a lot.

Indeed.
I would say not until you run Kaaaahhhhhnnnn tf. I haven't ran it on my new 50 kat/fire yet, but I ran it on my real old claws/regen, and regen just can't keep up with his insane amount of aoe and other AVs throwin stuff. Now I'm sure an AV soloist build would do better than my common IO build (don't play this guy a lot). But it will definatly be the very last time i do that tf with that toon.
I think my kat/fire will do better with a ton of melee def, but fffi think healing flames won't be able to keep up with his aoe.
I never had an issue with my spines FA, running the ITF. Ran it many many times.
