  1. Hmmm...could of been a lack of S/L Resist.

    I was tanking BM on the first Apex TF I did (I have confront...none of the brutes did), with the softcapped defenses (didn't see what her chance to hit me was).

    But yeah, have to stay moving, and you can't let anyone on the team immobilize her, or else she gets stuck in blue patches you can't attack her in :/

    Do you have tough?

  3. I'll speak from a purely "playing the game" point of view...

    Yes. Yes it will make a difference. As long as the damage has a S/L component to it. If it's all some other element, well then, the regen would of served you better.

    I'd go for the defense.

    No. Since I knew they couldn't kill me, I just ran to Ramziel and ended the mission.

    Captain Holtz, yes, I soloed with nothing but standard powers. I have 2 Purples sets (Armageddon and Hecatomb), loaded with Kinetic Combats, have both of the +3% Defense IOs, and basically, I have a VERY pricey build.

    Weakened Honoree, yup, had to go outside the build to beat him, with Inspirations (just damage ones), and I threw in Envenomed Dagger since, well, I had it.

    I also seperated the AVs (I have Confront...since well...Dual Blades confront is awesome...and I respeced my Scrapper before I did the story arc...so extra powers for me!).

    My attack chain was simply Blinding Feint -> Attack Vitals -> Repeat (I'm pretty sure my DPS is better than my last test on a pylon now).

    Trapdoor, I think, is always an EB. He didn't spawn as an AV for me.

    Because, if you read the story line, you're suppossed to be this really great hero (and I'd guess villain for villains).

    Yeah, I know that doesn't mean much, especially when Statesman says "You're powerful enough, you handled Lord Recluse" and part of you is thinking "Yeah, with seven other people"

    So my point is...get a big team of squishies then. Team of 8 buff/debuffers tears things apart.

    You being level 50, ought to know that.
  9. Well, having endless End Recovery already as a DB/WP/Body Scrapper...I won't lie, none of them look OMG *DROOL* I MUST HAVE.

    Going Spiritual on my main. The added Recharge will help in those times I get slowed, and CP (1 slotted with a lvl 50 RCH IO), will be up even more often, when I likely hardly never need it

    The +Heal will go nicely with the currently unslotted Fast Healing and Health, while pushing the 95%+ Heal in RTTC and HPT up a notch.

    The Stun will just be wasted. :/


    Sadly, none of the others look much better. +DMG is nice, sure to up my DPS around 7-11 DPS a second, but the Defense Debuff would be wasted as would the Immobilize.


    +ACC and +Defense, I was thinking about, but I think I'd get more survival out of the +Health for healing per second, than I would out of what would likely be 1 or 2% increase in Defense.

    +End +Resist wont go far either :/

    So Spiritual it is! \o/

    Yes you can.

    I took out the Rikti infront of the hall, then hit Confront on Captain Holtz, and he came running.

    He was easy.

    Then I jumped in, waking up Honoree with way over aggro cap of Rikti around, cleared all the Rikti, then went after Honoree.

    Sadly, I couldn't beat out his Regen as an AV. No idea of his resists, but I was at 45%+ on my S/L/E/N Defenses.

    If he landed his Total Focus and 2 small hits in a row, it was pretty much done for. So grabbed some red skittles, and a dagger for added measure, and even witht he damage skittles, I don't know if I could beat his regen. It would of been close if I did, Im sure.

    Was lots of fun going after the AVs though Made it feel like you were ready to go after the incarnate powers.

  12. Okay...who else was set to AVs and soloed it?

    I had to double check my settings on Trapdoor. Seems he's always an EB.

    Captain Holtz, I was able to solo with no temps or inspirations.

    Weakened Honoree..OMG! His regen must be up there! Or his lethal resist.

    Maybe if I had the PvP -Resist Proc in Sweeping Strike, instead of a Damage Proc, maybe that could of made a difference?

    With him, had to use damage skittles and figured might as well use the Envenomed Dagger while I'm at it for good measure.

    I'm thinking some shielders will probably have better luck than my DB/WP.
  13. How I did it...

    Regenerative Tissue Unqiue was slotted into Health.

    Miracle Unique was slotted into Fast Healing

    Numina Unique was slotted into High Pain Threshold, a long with a Numina Heal, Numina Heal/END, a lvl 50 Gen Heal IO, and the two +3% Defense IOs.

    Don't know your build, so maybe you were able to get more slots into FH and/or Health. I kept them one slotted.

    Okay, you want psychopathic and homicidal maniacs, and you haven't played the Resistance Crusdaer arc? o.O

    Admittedly they can all be seen as heroes from certain perspectives, but I saw nothing really unheroic about the Warden Resistance Arc myself.

    Maybe you need to read the arcs to realize this.

    Haven't completed the Loyalist Power arc yet (slow going on this character of mine), but it didn't seem to be heroic either

    Certainly. That I can support. Personally, I'd like to see Assassin's Strike be made uninterruptible (so you can use it as part of your attack chain), but lowering its cost so it doesn't sting as much when it interrupts would be good, as well.
    Not really sure if making it non-interruptable will help Stalkers do better DPS, but it might just make Stalkers the best at DPE.

    You are of course able to enjoy the show however you want. Just curious though, what's wrong with them setting the show in another Earth different than the comics, as they done, and accepting it that way?

    o.O I've played both (and A LOT OF scrappers)...

    I didn't say raise their base health, just the cap and I'm not even saying raise it to Scrapper cap level.

    That aside, raising the damage shouldn't be a problem, they should already be the highest damaging melee, and they're not.

    Though, you have made me think of another idea...

    Lower Assassin Strike End Cost! Maybe even to zero. The best DPE attack! And if it fails to go off for whatever reason, you're not screwed out of the END.
  22. Now first off, let me say, I love all of Kinetic Melee's animations and I love the set! To me it's a perfect set all around!

    However, I'd love to throw some kicks in there!

    This isn't about Consentrated Strike either, as I know some just hate the animation.

    But I feel this set just needs some kicks!

    Eagle's Claw animation with some added hangtime put in (since CS has a longer animation time than Martial Art's animation) would be perfect for an alternate animation for Concentrated Strike.

    Quick Strike can easily get Storm Kick and Thunderkick animation put in (same in reverse for putting the QS animation in for one of the MA attacks) as they have the same animation time.

    All these great sets, and they could really use some alternate animations between fist and foot strikes, without have to do a bunch of brand new animations!

    I'm not even sure I want brand new, never seen animations myself CoH has some great kick animations, and I'd just love to see them ported around to the various sets, I just mention Kinetic Melee, as it's what I'm currently using.
  23. Well, continuing playing my stalker, and really, from a team stand point and solo wise, I think Stalkers, still, just need a higher damage mod.

    Now, the only problem I see with this, is PvP, so what could be done is have the current damage mod in PvP and a higher one in PvE.

    An increase in health would still be handy as well, just so all the sets can make use of the +Health granted in set bonuses, or even Frostworks from Cold Domination users, as it's just to easy to cap HP and have set bonuses go to waste right now.

    With Teen Titans Go! comic, they're not giving it its own universe?
