really? The time difference in that is what? A day's work?

The question should be, does the NPC look good, or does it look like the Merit Vendors, when it comes to outfits?

Since they know of the concerns about names and have said they're looking into it i would suggest having a little patience for the moment.
I really don't think I'd care to have NA_GlobalName, as my global name

I really don't want to lose my global name I have now either.

If it's just choose one side over the other for quick an easy, I can see it. But giving it to the longer active account is a good way to settle it imo.

    Actually this is wrong.

It effects the same amount of people no matter which way you do it.

If 5 people on the EU servers have the same name as someone on the NA Servers, either way they do it, 5 people are getting effected.

Now, giving it to the one with the most time played is a good way to do it.

Now i dug the TV show, and was fond of the 1st movie, but looking back, the 1st movie wasn't even all that great. The story was alright and you cant beat the soundtrack (which of course, you NEED for a reboot ), but the parts of the story taking place in 'present day' was more crap than not. And Lambert was damn near blind back then, it'd be nice to get someone who could go through a nice swordfight and not make it look like the other guy was purposefully holding back because he knew his opponent couldnt see him.

Would also be nice to see stuff like the Watchers incorporated from the get go. But that's me.
I figured that more like how it was on the original Star Wars, the fancy sword fighting just isnt there.

My hope would be ina reboot to see OMG AWESOME *DROOOOOL* SWORD FIGHTS!

They had in at least one episode, implied that gaining the skills of another immortal through beheading could be a enough, when a new immortal (a circus magician) traps Duncan, and says if he takes Duncan's head, then he won't have to worry about the other Immortals as much.

Duncan pretty much says that's true. Then shows off the locked picked handcuffs, and leaves the magician to his fate, which of course, he then senses another immortal arrive.

How is that all the time? o.O

From a story stand point, that's once in a blue moon.

From a repeat the content over and over stand point, that's players choice.

Redside does have awesome SFs all it's own. And a new one coming.

I guess one could include Vanguard missions, but that's another choice in you the player.

When the time comes that Cole invades, you'll either join alongside him, or fight him off using your new found power.

Now. I see why you would think this. However, as of right now, outside of your own personal RP, where in the game does it look like your hero/villain wouldn't go up against Tyrant?

Go Hero, you learn just how bad Tyrant is, and that people just aren't all bad on Primal, ect ect.

Go Villain, you want the power and you want to keep it.

Or never leave Praetoria, to stay loyal to Cole.

If they make an option for Praetorians to be loyal to Cole, I wouldn't be against it. Just saying, if you stick to the story of the game, I don't see why your character wouldn't be against Cole.

Honestly, I haven't had CC in years, and it's certainly not healthy. The nostalgic part of me would hate to see it go, but the part of me that knows there is no nutritionally redeeming value to the cereal which is marketed pretty exclusively to kids, thinks it might be time for some change.

I'd love to see Quaker or whoever Makes CC pull out the sugar content, give the Captain a healthy make over and make it more nutritional. Ride the Green\Health wave to higher profits.
Then just stop marketing to kids. Just marketed it!

It's not like only kids eat it.

Personally, I love CC. It's yummy! Do I eat it every day? No.

The only thing I can think of is that one would have to be close enough so that one could recieve the quickening.

And speaking of the quickening, in the first movie, Ramirez decribed it entirely differently from what was shown in the series. Even the whole lightning storm, floating cars and breaking windows in the movie wasn't actually called or referred to as a quickening. I don't think even movie 2 or 3 acutally called that event a quickening. We were just led to belive that this is how immortals passed their power from on to another.
Always figured that was more of a budget dfference, and the series trying to change a few things to make it work better for them.

I hope they never change it!

    It's perfect! It's quick!

The 8 people limit is only a problem when 1 of the 8 people (or more) don't know how to accomplish a task or the type to flake out on a TF/Trial they started to begin with.

Love the Cavern of Transendance. I used to run that many time DAILY for people, back when you know, people were always going to the Hollows.

The reasons for this is pretty much what you explained: Some concepts just dabble in multiple fields. I can think up a few off the top of my head right here on the spot:

Demon who is created from magic and is alive because of magic, but who takes up technology as his weapon of choice just because he wanted to be different.

A mutant who was born different and much stronger, but then underwent scientific experimentation to make him even stronger. In other words - Wolverine.

A regular person who was turned into a supermutant by super soldier serum, then fitted with high-tech cybernetics on top of that. In other words - Noble Savage.

Or how about one of my very own: Samuel Tow's most direct power source is scientific experimentation, in the shape of a sentient cancerous implant which slowly replaces his tissues and organs with better ones as the old ones get damage. This gives him, among other things, instant thought and reflexes, as well as the strong body to respond to them. However, the bulk of his offence comes from an unbreakable sword that can cut through anything, self-reloading firearms of infinite ammo and unnecessarily high caliblre, as well as a techno suit to put Grey Fox to shame. So which origin is he?
Well personally I think the Noble Savage concept can easy be fitted into just the origin of science even with the tech.

But agreed! I'd love to have dual origins, even if the second one was just flavor in one's decription.

To answer your question on your self titled character...Science seems to fit just fine. So he uses weapons dons a suit of technology. From your description sounds like Science, not to mention science can fit to use techology so easily.

Captain America would be Science, yet uses a shield. I'd still classify him as Science over Science/Tech or Science/Natural.

Wolverine, I'd totally go with Mutant/Science (but both his mutant powers and metal skeleton are so much a part of him).

So is Cap's shield, still just classify him as a Science Origin. Weapons and armor just seem to go with any Origin really, without really taking away from any Origin.

Now, if it was a Fire wielding Spell Caster (Fire Melee/Fire Epic) in an Iron Man like suit of armor (INV or what have you), I could see Magic/Tech or Tech/Magic. As they're just so very different in origins.

Science/Tech, Tech/Natural, just seem so much less so.

Of course, this is all opinion.

Why would they get rid of it?

I admit, there's a mission I farm in AE, but then, I had a mission I farmed in PvE to (admittedly not fast, but I'm using a DB/WP Scrapper )

And I havent heard tons and tons of AE Farm team messages when in AP (or other AE accessible zones) when I go through them. Have I seen them? Yes. But not that often at all, less than I see any other "looking for members" or "looking for team" messages.

-Those who are as blindly loyal to Coles rule as Arachnos soldiers are to Recluse (We get to play one of them, after all)

    Not at all.

Option 1) Side with Cole and miss out on end game content.

Option 2) Don't side with Cole and do end game content

(BTW this is all if you want to run everything IC and not just go the OOC route)

Obviously, Option 1 is going to feel kinda suckie, but it is an option, and one you can choose to stick with.

My main would never join Vanguard, work with sure, but NEVER join. Guess what it says when I do the arc, that I need to do because I want Vanguard Merits...Join vanguard.

I just overlook the whole joining Vanguard bit.

Having a Hero License or being a known Villain...the game kinda locks you into those positions even if you start to go grey, just by clicking on options and looking at your character ID.

People have been ignoring that, since when, release day?

I totally agree. Even in the comics they were one-dimensional (there's irony for you) and Statesman comes across mostly as a self-righteous git
Go to the Rogue Isles. Become a Villain. Why would you want to go to help the people of Primal Earth when all they've shown is disdain and hatred towards Praetoria? If you go to the Rogue Isles, you can carve out your own destiny, your own path for power, for glory, for whatever you want. When the time comes that Cole invades, you'll either join alongside him, or fight him off using your new found power. (As your own story unfolds on Primal Earth, you will have opportunities to switch sides.)

That bolded part just sounds like "Join Cole OR find new incarnate powers" to me.

Talk about a gross violation of the non interference oaths of the Watchers. Too bad that Endgame suffered from sloppy editing as well as a weak script. There are I think three versions of Endgame and I'm not sure which is considered accurate, but I think they all failed to properly convey if Sanctuary was on Holy Ground considering that Kell came in and destroyed the place and all but Connor. The movie doesn't show if Kell took them all outside or not or just killed them inside so if it WAS holy ground then he broke the prime rule of the immortals.

Also I think we are to presume that IF it indeed comes down to the last two, and one walks away with the Prize that no new immortals can ever be born again.
Well, time has passed between the series and Endgame. I'd guess that oath got left behind, when they realized, staying in the background and just watching could easily lead to an eternity of darkness.

Personally, I'm still suprised so very few Immortals use guns.

Shoot em, they fall over dead. Then take their head.

I know the show had a one or two do this, but you'd think one would be well trained to really make use of this.

Even the Hero loyalist text states that your goal is to help make Cole see that the Invasion isnt nescessary. Doesn't mention anything about fighting against your own government or armed forces.

But sadly, as with all choices made in Praetoria, none of that actually has any effect on your characters story after level 20.
The Loyalist side of going to the Isles does seem to be saying "Fight with Cole" OR "Get lots of powers (incarnate) and go against him"

Season 5 of the series, episode Little Tin God. Villain of the week has a messiah complex and is killing pre immortals and pretending to be God as they wake up as immortals. He teaches them a twisted version of the rules and tells them Duncan is the personification of the devil. He's chased into a cemetary where they still tried to kill him until one remembered that they were told not to kill in holy ground. Joe Dawson of the Watchers later tells Duncan of a legend in their Chronicles of two immortals fighting in a temple right before Mt. Vesuvius wiped out Pompeii. Villain of the week is beheaded off holy ground but near the old church he based out of and a lightning bolt struck the cross on the church which glowed ominously. Duncan sees it and decides its a good idea to leave the area......
I remember this, I think the failing is just in the fact that, if it did come down to just two of them, one could hide out on Holy Ground and wait for more immortals to come about.

The exoskeleton part of it, as said, could be done with costume parts.

But I can see how you want different options for secondaries.

I'd like a Position Defense set, with some S/L Resist and a self heal. Sheild comes close, but I'd rather have the self heal than the Shield Charge, but this is all for concept more than anything.

Ninjitsu comes close to this (and would be an acceptable substitute for me personally) but alas, Scrappers don't have it (hopefully that's a "don't have it yet")

Those like Krugen are likely to go hunting, while those like Connor and Duncan would be the opposite.
