All in all, it feels like a movie that suffered from a rewrite of the script midway through production and the result is painful.
I actually enjoyed it. It was different for sure. It looks like they tried to show some changing on the parts of Jack and Barbosa, but then at the end Barbosa seems to have gone back to his old ways anyways, and the change was of course just an act.
  2. With my DB/WP, I'm quite enjoying the Rebirth for a click heal and +Regen I think it's been better for my survival than Barrier. Fitting the concept even better helps alot.

Though...since Ninjitsu hasn't been ported yet, I think I'll be heading over to that other Melee AT for my namesake for an Agile Regeny type >_>

Hmmm...I must of screwed up on this number somewhere, because I'm getting a lower DPS with an IO build going on that can hit the BU > CAL > LR > Assassin Strike every six runs of the DPS chain.

Well, when i20.5 hits, you'll beable to obtain more EMerits a day. Like 4-8 a day (I'm not quite sure if you only get one EMerit every 20 hours for joining an open League Trial).
  6. The best part for me? The lesson that people are infact okay with Wonder Woman wearing bikini bottoms and doesn't need to have some brand new costume that covers her legs.

Nooo...I want to see that in the Ice Epic Pool!

This. I know all my similar powered SGs have failed. I was hoping for the Gun Bunnies to take off.

I have been kicked off teams because and I quote, "I'm sorry but my SG leaders girlfriend doesn't like your wife." I laughed at it but it REALLY put this game in a new light. The community is very strong which is good and a bad thing because if you questions the way of things you get black listed.

My best experience in this game is back before i13 PvPing with the Renegades on test and Freedom, I came to Virtue because hell, I like RP too! I found PvPers much more accepting than RPers. That is not to say I think RPers are malicious, I just see a lot of groups that expect you to put up with leaders that feel like they are gods gift to earth or to suspend disbelief and accept that the leader is more powerful than any canon character and infinitely more powerful than your character can ever hope to be.

This is a rant but I am stressed out for a lot of reasons and I just want to enjoy the game that I used to so much but I can not find community in this game anymore. Everything is insular and everyone avoids you unless their friend introduces you to them. I WANT to RP but I can't find a group to save my life because they are either the HUGE group that forgets the small people or a small group that falls apart in two weeks.
You know. I've heard people say that about established groups. That they're huge and hard to get into. I think it's more that some concepts don't lend themselves well to getting involved.

Like a lot of times, it's "my character is quiet or shy" so one has to wonder, what makes you think the others would try to break them of that or get to know them?

That all said, just keep trying to find the group that works for you. It's out there!

The set is underplayed, looks like fun, and works. Let others play it on an AT that they enjoy. Leaving it on Tanks is in no way some sort of golden ticket to get me to play one.
It was the low damage of Ice Melee that really ended up with me pushing my way to 50 and then shelving my Ice/ice Tanker. That and seeing the sheilders pull aggro off my tank like she wasnt even trying to hold aggro!

I'd rather they just work with Sleep powers, and people can make the choice...turn sleep powers into powers that have no real sleep effect, or pick a different interface.

I fully admit I prefere Reactive, but really, there's multiple choices. If people want their sleep abilities, pick one that doesn't wake the enemies up, it's that simple.

Neither do PvP IO set bonuses.

That said, I use lvl 33 IOs, to have the bonuses from lvl 30 all the way to 50.

Solo Reactive interface provides a very large damage boost. Teamed the relative damage boost is smaller but it's still more useful than debuffs since most teams do not need the other reactive debuffs against normal enemies and AVs resist debuffs to much for them to be useful there.
Then this becomes a simple matter of grabbing multiple Interfaces.

When solo, grab one that doesn't interrupt the sleep powers, and when teamed when sleep becomes less of a helpful thing, use the reactive that you think you must have.

Actually, the 187 doesn't include Caltrops damage at all. Sooo...it'll be a bit higher than the 187, add in procs and it should be some pretty decent DPS.

If not, how far behind would it be compared to the current ranking chain?
that's kind of the nice thing about Martial Arts now, get a chain together, and you're pretty much going to get good DPS out of it.

I don't recall the actual differences, but a few procs thrown into Storm Kick and the other attacks will help it out as always.

Really, you can't go wrong with any of the attacks except Thunder Kick (outside of it's animation...if I had room in my build, Id take Thunder Kick and use it just when looking to mess around).
  18. This is why I like using slotted powers for figuring out DPS. KM and EM look close without slotting, but that all changes drastically with slotting.

    That said...

EP - BS - ET - EP - BS - TF is only 4 DPS lower than the BS - ET - BS - TF chain. Of course, the use of BU will favor the smaller chain more.

Even with KM, CS - BS - BB - QS - BS - BB is only a couple points under CS - BS - BB - QS - BS.

Sadly, I'm still having a hard time figuring in the added DPS using a successfull uninterrupted Placate > BU > Assassin Strike would add to the DPS of either chain.

Like difficulty settings, or merit vendors.

Existing stores in the game, or the trainers, could have handled these merits as well. Or just like we can craft and convert Incarnate stuff within the UI we could have done the same with merits and alignment merits. But no, we get a new npc which we have to go talk to whenever we want to change a setting that could just as well have been reached through the regular options.

Just like the difficulty setting npcs - why not put the difficulty settings right there in the mission menu? Why do we have to do an immersion-breaking runaround and go talk to some impersonal npc to change what is a meta-game setting? I will never understand it and I will probably never stop complaining because it seems like the devs will never stop adding more of these meta-npcs to the game.
    agreed!

I'd rather have a Go to Menu>Click on Auction House than an actual auction house as well!
  21. Something forgotten about the Ice/Ice Tanker...

Frozen Aura...TAKE IT! It has damage now! As much as Footstomp (sans RAGE) with a smaller AOE, and it's all Cold Damage.

    Simple
While I would be okay with this, I think many a player would not be, for those who took Hibernate as their epic and would thusly lose it if it was taken out.

I'd still rather have Superior Conditioning in Body Mastery than Conserve Power, I just don't see it happening.

As for what to replace Hibernate with for Stalkers/Scrappers...

+Resist/+Rec/+Regen Sow/OwtS clone (ie fixed recharge).

Hibernate really isn't terrible for holding aggro. If I had their aggro before using Hibernate before, I had it while in it, and I never had to stay in Hibernate for the full duration, so I could break out of it and put more aggro out.

Of course, with some ATs able to rip off the aggro of two taunt auras, taunt and punch-voke, well, let me say Ice Armor isnt the aggro king anymore. :/

I too want Fire Blast on Defenders.

Unique my posterior! AT mechanics (Inherent and modifiers) are what separate them from each other. Why do you think I play a DM/Inv Scrapper when I could play a superior DM/Inv Brute? Because of the Scrapper AT mechanics!

    Ice, ice, baby!

I don't want tanks to have Katana and I don't want scrappers to have ice. It's all cool with me whatever you guys want, but if we voted [ha] I'd vote to keep ice with Tanks, Kat with Scrap, but Geez, get fire blasting over to defenders.

Edited to add: And Brutes, they need a unique powerset. They have nothing unique.
Sounds like a long debate that needs to be discussed on this Ice Armor issue.

Therefore, Ninjitsu for Scrappers it is!
