I haven't heard or seen one one.Although a few months ago I did see a GL looking toon running around in obo.

Alas when I tried to make one it failed miserably as most people at the time were only really making fantasy-esque characters, especially for Empire of Atlantis. There are alien rp toons on virtue, but they are few and far between. If you manage to find one, or would be interested in creating an SG like that, please send me a tell in game @Gray Hero.

I remember one from a while back the Cerulean Legion, but I'm not sure of anything else. It actually surprises me there are none about, but it's probably due to no one wants a SG where everybody has the same powersets.

I've not seen anyone from Cerulean Legion in-game in a very long time though so I don't know if I just play at the wrong times or if they've died off or what. Either way, with power customization you could make a GL-style supergroup as diverse as wanted, so if there isn't one, it'd be very easy to at least get the ball rolling nowadays.

I wouldn't be thinking of similar powersets, and not necessarily a Green Lantern Corps, but an amalgamation of all the corps.
The colours would be set to let say 8 different ones:
Green
White
Red
Black
Violet
Orange
Yellow
Blue
Part of why I asked would be to set up a static group with a representative from one of each of the colours listed above. Once he hit a decent level, let's say 30 ish for the first seven, then start inviting with the only stipulation being that power colours have to be one of the above.
Would people be interested? Not sure? Are there 7 others that are intrigued by this? Let me know.

All that aside i do like the concept of color-themed SGs, just not so much the DC Rainbow version. i suppose there was an explanation of why it just happened to coincide so perfectly with Western traditions, but i didn't read enough of the series to find out.

My idea was not to limit the powersets, just limit the colour spectrum. It would be loosely based on the whole concept of the different Lantern Corps, but not be one specifically. Power is derived from each of the different colours.
I wanted to try it as a static group and see how it progresses.
I would be open to limiting the number of colours, but if we could get 8, that would be cool.

It's the same reason 99% of aliens in comics and other sci-fi are bipedal humanoids - because the target audience identifies with bipedal humanoids more than amorphous blobs or floating balls of energy.

Further Update: The idea would be to start in Nova Praetoria, as resistance to Emperor Cole, and sworn to protect Primal Earth. The idea would be to move blueside to protect Primal Earth. If you are interested in this, please let me know.

I take it the interest in this is lukewarm from a wider player base. If there are people on the fence, let me know if you have any questions.
The idea is this. X-amount of individuals are pulled from Primal Earth and Primal Space, and sent to Nova Praetoria. The Celestial Sentinels, a group of beings representing different colour spectrums has pulled these individuals who showed great will and determination, but also have shown resilience and the ability to strike without fear for themselves. The idea for these individuals is to take the fight to Emperor Cole on Preatorian Earth, preparing their heroes for their return to Primal Earth. From there, the battle will be taken to the Villains on Primal Earth, and to fight back any incursions from Praetorian Earth.
Let me know if you like the concept. The SG will be named the Celestial Sentinels, in honour of the beings that gave the heroes their powers.
This is the concept I am toying with. Any thoughts?
