That's real world physics Let's leave the real world out of the costumes

That said, still prefere Harley in her original outfit.

Just remember, the legal age in Rhode Island is 16!

Though, it's Paragon...so who knows! It could be different! I've seen the RPs that go on in CoH!

Having the option to tweak the Lore Pet auras so they don't appear as ghosts would be a great example of exactly that.
Yeah. The idea of Batman throwing him once is good!

It's after that fact, when Superman can run/fly at him at Mach 5 speed, hit him in the stomach hard enough to break his back, where it becomes a stretch.

Mind you, this only goes to those natural humans who rely on reflexes and Hand to hand, and no tech at all (which Batman isn't).

MA/SR like Sam said. It's a concept, but to say it's a pure human, like in real life, and to say they can tear apart a tank by kicking it? o.O Can survive gun shot wounds. Let's face it, even the most agile is getting hit 5% of the time.

Put in a PBAOE version of Tar Patch and Cloak of Darkness!

I think the no Cloak of Darkness what really has me sad though. :/ All other Dark/Dark combo's get a Stealth in there.

Not that I'm against it. But just because there are demons, doesn't means there could be angels.

Demons/Monsters, this was in greek mythology. Angels were not. Or if one would like, the Gods were at points like the angels one thinks of today as angels (or the majority of people anyhow).

Messengers? Come down to earth as people/animals/what have you. All things the greek gods themselves did.

    Harry Potter 7.2

    Watched it.

In fact, I watched HP 7.1 and then 7.2 in 3D (just because I wanted the HP 3D glasses) and I quite enjoyed it.

Some parts I wish they left in and didn't see why they didn't, but overall, it was quite well done, and for what was left out, they added some nice things in.

the theater was packed, and the crowd was clapping, cheering, whooing...everything. I didn't hear one negative complaint about it from anyone in the theater, everyone seemed to be coming out of it, quite enjoyed talking with strangers about it.

I realized that after I was half way through I forgot to set the death counter, because I was trying to hurry for the people who had been waiting for me to get 5 other people.

That said, my first time through, before the crash and defeating Rommie those two times, I didn't die.

Now, on my second time through on the last mission while clearing the 300...clicked Mutation...and yup...you can guess it right there...MONKIED!!!

This was right before the second pair of steps going the left direction.

    Sooo, I use an awaken.

    A little to soon.

Yup. Still a monkey, couldn't click that breakfree, shot down!

Other than the monkey incident, no deaths at all.

You no likey the Nictus shield? Actually the NRG stock one I like a little better than the Vanguard one as it removes the framework, which is cool. But the Nictus one is just awesome looking.
I like the energy shield too But I still find it to be a Shielder concept. And I used it on my MA/SH (which is lvl 50 and was fun to play) untill I hit lvl 37 and switched to the Vanguard Shield (got a few levels in before I was finally able to get in a Mother Ship raid for the vanguard merits).

Knockback is likely part of it, though really I never found it to be an issue. However, part of it is also likely just the limits of power picks.

The best chain is SK - CS (or CK) - SK - CAK - Repeat. Since you can remove either CK or CS and still have the best chain...people will likely keep the power that has a chance to stun over the power that has a chance for knockback.

Also CS's stun stacks with EC's Stun.

Personally, I just keep them both in, because CK is just one of MA's many cool animations.

PvP wise, MA/ isn't all that bad really for dueling. The problem is more from /WP. RTTC can easily be detoggled, no self heal...for a fightclubber it's not all that terrible, you'd just be better off with MA/Regen.

Is it really that much more limited in AOE than others?

ELM, Swords, DB, Spines (weak on the ST), Claws...

Kin Melee has one PBAOE and a weak cone many skip.
Fire Melee has one PBAOE and a weak cone many skip.
Dark Melee isn't exactly an AOE Specialist.
Martial Arts has one PBAOE that's really only buffed up by leading it with Eagle's Claw.

The only think that helps the Swords is they have a PBAOE, a decent cone, and their tier 9 has such a weak cone, no one really uses it as an AOE.

Well, maybe because it's a niche set. Mechanic wise it's awesome! However, you're using a shield. In superhero comics it's a very limited set.

If they used those mechanics in a powerset without the shield itself (maybe replacing Shield Charge with Reconstruction...or saying it has a teleport attack), I'd love the set. But the shield...only like the Vanguard Shield myself...*sigh* Limited concept (again imo).

    Let's speculate!

I remember us suggesting some Stone Mastery possiblities during the GR beta, using already available powers only recolored to match Earth abilities.

As for speculation on the new and exciting Dom things...

Dark Control/Dark Assault sounds good. However, as I think Dark Controll will be a paid for power set, I would think that means it'll be available to Controllers too...so would that cound as exciting things coming for Dominators?

It can be difficult for rp'ers but its not unusual. your mutant example is something im wondering right now, actually, for one of my praetorian loyalist responsibility characters. his physical appearance is hideous but hes a straight up lawful good type character who initially supports the regime because he wants to do the right thing, as he has been taught since childhood, and hasnt yet learned the darker sides of the equation. now the npc's don't differentiate if you look like brad pitt or a hideous monster, so i'm forced to make an assumption that people are somewhat used to weird looking power division guys, and judge him foremost by the badge, and secondary by the scaly skin, massive claws and red glowing eyes. so while i dont rp myself, it is a question that i have to make a leap of faith on. and its one that might come up later in a future update, so the best i can do is be patient and not too attached to any one thing.

your comment sounds exactly like a comment a friend of mine made about another more medieval game years ago, and no game with a continuing story can cover all bases. lets go further, i have a praetorian that is an angel, what is the state of religion in praetoria? would he be seen as welcomed, or as an enemy o the seeming god-emporer? heck even in primal earth its not mentioned outside of the recently thrown under the bus shadowhunter mission. how do people react to kheldians? its the little details that rpers have to just make a best guess at. but really it is inevitable.
I always got the feeling the game steered clear of any type of angel types period.

Likely do to just not wanting to deal with the subject, but also because they mention Greek Mythology quite a bit, and the Greek Mythology didn't really have the angels we think of today.

Actually, checking mids...this depends on your slotting.

I slot it PS: EndMod, EndMod/ACC (or RCH), +END Proc, and a Lvl 50 Generic EndMod IO, as my PS are level 33 for exemping purposes.

Now, if you just go with level 50 IOs, yes, slotting the four PS's are the better way to go.
  20. Stalker: ELM/NIN

If you're only going to make one stalker, why not go with Ninjitsu? ELM is to up your AOE, which is going to help on your teaming. ELM's ST damage is also helped by Assassin Strike.

    Scrapper: KM/Shield

KM is a fun set, it's AOE isn't the best, but that's okay you have Shield to help fill in the AOE, as well as having KM's +DMG feature to combine with Shield's +DMG from AAO, not to mention KM and Shield's -DMG abilities.

Also, Scrappers just get the best return out of Shields.

    Brute: SS/ELA

One might wonder why not FA, which I'll explain later. I have a SS/FA Brute at 50, SS/ is just fun. Footstomp? Knockout Blow at level 8? And though it's one of the worst all around attacks, Hurl is just fun to use.

ELA will give added AOE with Lightning Field, ENDREC comes a thing of the past, and 90% Energy comes in handy for a lot of late game enemies, and really ELA is a fun set and with a little IO investment can be made more survivable.

    Tanker: FA/FM

Now you know why I didn't suggest FA for the Brute. When you can't find a team, or just feel like soloing...speed up the soloing with MORE DAMAGE

Not suprised. I've been told multiple times DB/ was a terrible, low damage set.

Maybe when compared to other sets for AOE goodness, and peoples fondness of for shields.

Also some people dont care for the Combo system, as it generally means you're doing a DPS string style of attacking, instead of hitting the next recharged attack.

Before I dropped 1K Cuts from my build (and then replaced Power Slice with Nimble Slash for Posi TF), I'd run BF -> Attack Vitals Combo -> Sweep Combo -> Repeat

It's as much slotting as it is fitting it to fit my concept, and I'm slotted for exemp purposes, so one can easily get better numbers.

Alpha is tier 4 Spiritual Core. I've been thinking about going Musculation for a bit more on the DPS front as the survival isn't that greatly effected by Spiritual. But I get good use of it with FH and Health being unslotted for additional Regen.

Destiny is tier 4 Rebirth Radial. Though I really never had to use it on this, which suprised me.

Interface is tier 4 Reactive Radial. This put my DPS up an additial 30-50 DPS, plus the -resist should be stacking well with the two -resist procs I have.

Judgement is tier 3 Void, chosen purely for concept.

Lore is tier 3 Polar Lights, chosen purely for concept.

Soloed quite a few AVs with this build before the incarnates was an option (lvl 51 Silver Mantis, was the hardest, and incarnate abilities) without inspirations, survive S/L farms (not the fastest farmer obviously though), and generally have lots of fun with the build, though I still enjoy the Stalker version more due to it's click heal.

I don't consider DB/WP (or at least mine) to be the best Scrapper out there when it comes to teams though, as teaming is all about the AOE.
  23. Not that I'm saying go against the Proc suggested.

However, I will say putting just a lvl 50 ENDREC IO in the spot at least promises the .18 endrec.

I've gone 30+ seconds without any of my 3 +END Procs firing. So, the RNG can hate you at some points, and you sound to be relying on just 1.

That said, it becomes a personal choice imo. I'd suggest trying to find at least 1 more slot and 2 slotting for best of both

This kind of information is useful when writing character bios and thinking up RP plots. Revealing it this late is a bit... frustrating to be honest.
Well, having already knew this, my two magic characters that were in Praetoria worked around this easily enough, but they werent magic casters (one had a symbiote made of demons/monsters...so not really a threat as the character didn't really go throwing around spells the like of Azuria/Numina/Dr Strange).

That said, it wouldn't have mattered to the majority of players (even RPers) imo. You know magic is not wanted for one reason or another, and I've yet to not see a major magic user type in Praetoria.
