  1. Thanks for the replies you two I appreciate it. I think I will go with the Fighting Pool and have included it in a new build. I will wait and see about the extra regeneration. Mid’s builder like all others is great to see where you could end up. But I have found that by playing the alt you get a feel for what is needed or not. Any way here is the new one. Oh on a final note CFF is now lvl 36 and really really rolls along. I can’t help but play him.

    Yes - for the xp and the badges, other than that it is a dead zone, it adds nothing to the overall value of the game.
  3. Grandville - the worst zone in the history of MMO's, not a developers finest moment. Nor was Villian Epics. It makes me shudder just to think about the reasoning behind them.

    I do somtimes wonder abot the random direction that this game is taking - look at what we could have had - Space Stations, Underwater Lairs, Research Centers and what did we get............ the fricken' Canary Islands - Priceless
  4. After 6 - YES 6 mapserver disconects and 2 Crashes I had decided to call it quits for the night. I have had to log in 7 times - IT IS PATHETIC, I am tempted to give it all up for a bad job and buy a PS3!!

    Flight Speed

    The vast majority of the time I end up taking Super Jump, it’s cool, it’s quick and it has some horizontal movement. But one particular new alt should Fly – Has the speed of this power been boosted at all ? And if I place a flight speed in Sprint and in Fly will this cap it ? - Cheers
  10. Sands all the way, but if you stick around long enough you will get both.
  11. I stuck to one alt – Captain Fire Forged, and got him from 18 to 34. Faultline, Striga and Croatoa all done. I Picked up a few good pieces of salvage, and one exceptional enhancement, so totaled 37 million at one point. However I was disappointed to see that the market piranhas were out in force (knowing that demand would be increased), some salvage was hitting record highs. So I took a beating and ended up with about 26 million. Not too shabby.

    A close second would be a rope, to tie around the hostages neck so that he doesn’t decide to wander off..
  13. For farming go with SS/Fire, for PvP play something else other than a Brute. Overall, I do not think you will do too badly with the SS/SR brute, as far as SR go, they mature into greatness with age. Stick with it see how it goes.
  14. At the very least I would like the XP counter to turn into an INF counter at lv 50, it’s quite depressing to see it stuck there doing nothing. At the very worst it might be nice to turn said INF into further Enhancements slots after a killer Task Force (which you are able to solo).

    In 1943 Under Projekt Amerika Nazi Germany, began production of the infamous V-2 rocket. To counter this threat the Bristish Secret Service began its own series of tests to produce there own version of the V-2.

    Captain Giles Danforth was tasked with developing the pay load. This tricky assignment proved near fatal. When (with almost comic book inevitability), the highly volatile nitrated carbohydrate explosive compound destabilized causing an explosion the likes of which the RAF base at Stanton Harcourt had not seen in many a year.

    Despite the loss of his colleagues, Danforth survived (through the shear strength of his own will power), and went on to finish the project. Later it became apparent that the accident in some way changed the good Captain and that in the heat of the moment he could self combust. Shortly there-after, and in honor of his fallen colleagues, he created his Nazi busting, front line crime fighting alter ego Captain Fire Forged.

    And the rest, as they say is comic book history.

  16. I think this allows the Villains to finally get a choice of the good stuff. BUT, I also think the Heroes will be getting a set of Patrons to add a sense of balance. This would be good news.

    PS - I am also hoping that they demolish Grandville. That has to be the worst zone in the History of gaming

  21. I agree with this – you should be able to change your sex, size and or shape. It would give new life to old characters. I find myself thinking that I really like a certain power set on an alt I have. But I’m just not 100 % happy with the way her/she looks.

    I also think this should be an added bonus to the re-specification trial, which give the whole thing more meaning.
