Flight Speed

The vast majority of the time I end up taking Super Jump, it’s cool, it’s quick and it has some horizontal movement. But one particular new alt should Fly – Has the speed of this power been boosted at all ? And if I place a flight speed in Sprint and in Fly will this cap it ? - Cheers

Three level 50 SOs will cap Fly at 58 MPH. Or two Level 50 IOs + 1 50 IO in Swift.

The only change to flight was that it's cost was lowered so you no longer lose your endurance bar with just it running pre-stamina.

Flight should really cap with one level 50 IO...
But it doesn't, also as superspeed has a stealth component, shouldn't superjump have a no falling damage component... Etc.

super jump does have a reduced falling damage, otherwise you'd jump yourself to (near)death. Ever turned SJ off at the apex of a jump? I have (inadvertantly, elude downer hit and turned off all toggles ), it hurts a lot!

Yeah but with the ability to land from that high, superjump-ing off a tall building still hurts if your landing height happens to be below your takeoff level.

What I meant and implied was have zero falling damage as long as superjump is active, no matter the height of the drop.

Nope, definitely 58mph. Run speed caps at around 89mph, but fly speed caps at something like 59.14mph, making it vastly slower than any of the other travel powers.

While the 'minimum contact time' of SJ and TP mean that you risk aggroing mobs as you get near them when you reappear or touch down, SS's stealth bonus makes it safer than any of the others, and is about 50% faster than fly, which for most circumstances is MORE than enough to make fly a waste of time. Of course, I have both SS and Fly on my main, and I tend to use Fly in those situations where vertical movement becomes necessary. Combined, those two offer unprecedented precision and speed in getting places.
