The Captain a FM/WP Scrapper
I run a FM/WP Scrapper called Carnal Sin, and it's a blast. Fire Melee is nothing less than a brutal declaration of intent to kill. It doesn't have anything that even looks like mitigation though. Seriously, you don't even understand the little help other sets provide with knockdowns and fears or massive parry defense bonuses until you're nothing but a Fire Melee damage train. Everything is going to fall over dead real fast, but you're going to get hurt. You need Tough. Seriously. With Tough and Mind Over Body you can get a nice enough 50%(ish) smash/lethal resist, without Tough, guys like the Cimerorans are going to be able to hand you your own ****hole on a platter far faster than is comfortable. Oh it's doable, but it's not preferable. You just can't rely on Strength of Will to be up often enough to help in that regard, and S/L damage is what tends to be the real pain factor.
I've been considering adding just Assault to her if I can swing the End cost with set bonuses. Fire Melee does that to you I'm afraid, any extra percent of damage you can find so everything can be HURT more....

I'd rather 2nd heal slot fast healing and health than 6 slot HPT but that depends on what one wants to put in HPT at some later point. Look at health sets. +hp is +regen and there are +regen and +end rec heal enh. 1 of the end mods in stamina may not be too easily noticeable just like the taunt in rttc so there is a possible free up of 2 slots.
I wouldn't single slot resurgence with a +end proc as its worth less than a basic end mod. I can't help but choose gaussian in tactics whilst adjusted targeting is fine in build up.

Thanks for the replies you two I appreciate it. I think I will go with the Fighting Pool and have included it in a new build. I will wait and see about the extra regeneration. Mids builder like all others is great to see where you could end up. But I have found that by playing the alt you get a feel for what is needed or not. Any way here is the new one. Oh on a final note CFF is now lvl 36 and really really rolls along. I cant help but play him.

In 1943 Under Projekt Amerika Nazi Germany, began production of the infamous V-2 rocket. To counter this threat the Bristish Secret Service began its own series of tests to produce there own version of the V-2.
Captain Giles Danforth was tasked with developing the pay load. This tricky assignment proved near fatal. When (with almost comic book inevitability), the highly volatile nitrated carbohydrate explosive compound destabilized causing an explosion the likes of which the RAF base at Stanton Harcourt had not seen in many a year.
Despite the loss of his colleagues, Danforth survived (through the shear strength of his own will power), and went on to finish the project. Later it became apparent that the accident in some way changed the good Captain and that in the heat of the moment he could self combust. Shortly there-after, and in honor of his fallen colleagues, he created his Nazi busting, front line crime fighting alter ego Captain Fire Forged.
And the rest, as they say is comic book history.
