If you can find PvP. Might be better as a Scrapper, but Bill Z would be the guy to ask a Claws question. Maybe Werner can help you out with the Scrapper numbers, although I'm sure both know.

Quote:The ones where random citizens interrupt a comment with 'Nemesis is watching you' interjections comes, IIRC, after you complete a mission where you rescue the city council who have been captured and are to be replaced with Nemesis automata duplicates.
Had it occur after a Nemesis Ouro mission. Not the same one. -

A Circle mage with branching options would be rather interesting.

It also helps the STF and LRSF to be less time-consuming. It would also allow for people to play through on their own time, because not everyone wants to sit down for X amount of hours either. Being able to do it over a couple days would still make it challenging, but it would also make it less of rushed process.

Quote:Thre is absolutely no reason that the temporary powers on the STF/LRSF should penalize you for those things. My internet connection isn't perfect. Should I never take any glowies, or in fact join any tf's, just in case it happens to go down and inconveniencing my team? Because the stability of an internet connection is, by definition, unpredictable. There is no way to guarantee a connection you receive from an ISP.
And this is just talking about unforeseen computer internet connection problems. Who knows what kind of medical emergencies might come up (choking, asthma, diabetes issues)... -
Quote:What I said was that you are in a situation where something can happen that you can't predict but it happens enough to be a concern, you should not take the temp power. Ever. That doesn't mean "take it when you know your unpredictable thing won't happen."
This...I...
Bill already destroyed the logic in this post, but still...
Just plain ridiculous. -
Slow resistance is a maybe (recharge resistance wouldn't come with it), and yes to the AoE application if the cold resistance stacked only on the single recipient of the buff.

Quote:You remember Grai Matter? That one piece of Incarnate salvage that required doing a MS Raid to get?
Remember how that was added to the Vanguard vendor's list so you could buy it with V-merits instead of run a MS Raid where you're pretty much going to lag out and blow your chances of getting that piece of salvage?
DO THAT.
No. -
Quote:The point is though that maybe something comes up unexpected and/or maybe the person who got the temp. loses power from a storm and doesn't come back online.
Sure it may not happen more than 5% of the total times the TF/SF has been run but...if only takes a few hours of dev time (insert Standard Code Rant here), why not?
It'd be nice to have the temp. powers be given to all teammates and/or just remove the timer if it's faster/easier.
Exactly. It can create completely unnecessary and unavoidable situations. -
I agree, remove it from the requirements.

Quote:I believe what he is saying is that no matter how good of a suggestion is made; even if it only takes seconds of dev-time, and would have nothing but positive attributes attached to it, that some people would still feel the need to argue against it.
I realize that and took it the wrong way. Headache made me irritable, and it's still going strong. I understand the gist of what he is saying now, but I flew off the handle. -
You know, Rapthorn...
Darrin Wade already has the means to reassemble Rularuu's mind and release...
Even Faathim is chained to his true personaly; Faathim accepts his enslavement. -
Add PvP discussion to that list.

Quote:Some people would argue against releasing 20 new powersets if they were already completed and just required a bit change to enable.
Explain to me what is wrong with removing a useless timer on a temp power that does not exist on either of the Reichsman TFs. Not to mention that EVERYONE get a grounding ray. -
Hopefully it's not as annoying as the current Hami. I'm Mastermind bias, though.
-
Let me guess, Virtue/Union/Freedom?
That's pretty awesome, though. -

Well, mostly I just run around trying to organize things and throw in a little solo play, but what i usually do is plan for some big solo event. Recent one I planned to do was a solo LGTF with a Mastermind, but I never got around to it. New plan of attack is a solo Apex.

I would go into theory and such, but I'm pretty sure Mother Mayhem and Malaise would have their own reasons to want control of the Shadow Shard. A sleeping god that lies sleeping has his treasures stolen by lesser beings, or so they say.
But I digress. I'm taking up space at this point. The original idea is fine.
