  1. The feature has nothing to do with the badge. The badge is earned by being logged off for 30 days, regardless of how many bars you of dXP you gain.

And having just tested it for a day, turning off the XP gain doesn't affect the the blue bar: if fills up just the same. You do have control of when to use though...

Also, the feature turns off any and all XP you can earn. Quite interesting if you ask me, especially for people who want to do all the content for a level range.
  2. I'll let you know when the feature gets implemented on this side of the pond but I'd go with a tentative yes... as what you're getting isn't XP when you log off but a cyan bar of something (I'll call it dXP) that can be utilized later.
  3. There's a limit to how many bars can be won with the method per time you log out: 10 bars. If you log out for 10 days, then log in the counter is reset and you have ten bars to spend. Let's say you expend one bar and then log out for 5 days. You still will only have 10 bars when you log back in, not 14. So, no 365 bars if you log out for a year I'm afraid.

As for the turn on/off XP, I really can't see what the confusion is about. Unless you're confusing the On Patrol Day Job with the On Patrol activity, i.e. running around zones killing stuff.

It's an option you can turn on and off whenever you like so you can experience as much or as little of the game as fast or as slow as you want. I really can't see what you find wrong about it. More so when you have to accumulate one day of offline time to benefit from it. And Ouroboros is there if you want to experience any content you might eventually have missed?

I'm sure people who play often with their characters won't see much of a difference... YMMV.
  4. Very carefully and/or probably with tongs and gloves.
  5. Blue Rabbit

    Badges...

Also the last explanation I remembered being given about this was that there wasn't enough interest and/or manpower to have yet another section... still, you can always pose your questions on the General section and some badge whor... err, I mean, god (not me) will answer it I'm sure.
  6. And where would that leave your admirable participations in this forum? Why, you would be forced to stop posting.

Oh wait... maybe that's not such a bad thing.
  7. Not as such, but they did implement this:

Players now have an Option that can be set to stop earning any XP.

    Bernaise sauce
  8. Yeah, mine only are awarded after 18:30.
  9. And now my main villain has also been messed with without any need/want for my part: I picked Electric Shackles on my Rad Blast/Thermal Corruptor for a reason dagnabbit! I don't want or need Conserve Power, I want Electric Shackles on him!

I am not a happy bunny at the moment!
  10. And isn't it ironic? I chose Mako as my MM patron solely because of Bile Spray (she's a Necro/Poison and the another spit power fitted very well conceptually) and now... I have Knockout Blow... *release fizzled woohoo*

Thank carrots I vowed never to play her again when she reached 50. This is one more reason not to touch her.

Well done Castle sir, well done.
  11. Happy b-day Bananas! Hope you have an excellent day!
  12. I don't like this Arnold fella... I think he needs a broken knee or two... ¬_¬
  13. Obviously, some of them ARE carrot cookies.
  14. Oh, we have cookies.. and pie.
  15. Happy Anniversary to all of us who embrace the filthy, scummy, murderous, treacherous, lecherous, arsonist, ethically poor and morally dubious, villainous ways! And like it! ^_^

And yes, the City of Villains Anniversary was only commemorated once (and with the Elusive/Pursuer badge to boot too) after which the powers that be decided there would be no more anniversaries red side as the two would become one. Still, that doesn't stop the players from acknowledging the event now, does it?

So, huzzah if you're a villain, I say!
  16. With purple recipes for Dandelions?
  17. IIRC and as someone else has already stated, TP suppression was put in place to prevent people from TPing themselves and/or others into the dance cages and then get stuck in there... which, when done unto others, can be construed as a form of griefing.
  18. It's Halloween: the barrier between dimensions has been weakened beyond what would be normal with all the Zombie destruction that has been happening in the previous years. And now, they aren't going to take it laying down any more! They're making their move and rising up from the earth just to show you how much they don't like what has been happening to them. It's time to pay the price, and the tab is on you: currency of the day is braaaaaaiiiiiins...
